I realize the C3-01 does not have GPS capabilities but there appears to be map apps available that I would assume act like paper maps and serve as a reference source. Any recommendations for some sort of mapping capabilities on the phone?

My Nokia C3-01 randomly gets its touch capabilities disabled that I need to remove its battery just to restart it. Plus, it also restarts randomly then starts up very slowly at that same moment.
I have reformatted it with the latest version using Nokia Suite 3.5.34, I think this has something to do with the patch, it does not happen more frequent compare from the previous version of its software.
Does E6 have NFC capabilities? If Yes how to use it to pair and transfer data with other NFC phones? I read somewhere that C7 has got its NFC enabled by the Anna update. My friend has one and I am looking forward to trying this out.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having problems connecting OVI to a Nokia N8-00 handset via Bluetooth. The Add New Device wizard is able to detect the phone but when selecting it from the list and proceeding it stays on "Checking the Bluetooth capabilities of your device." for some 20 seconds after which it eventually fails with the error of "Failed to connect to your device. Problems occurred while authorizing the Bluetooth connection between your device and computer."
I've verified that both devices are configured as authorized by their respective counterpart. Also tried to remove the pairing from both the laptop and phone and re-pair them again - same problem. I am able to sync the phone with OVI via USB no problem. I am also able to use my OVI with another Nokia phone (E72) via Bluetooth without any issues. This points me to a possible problem with Bluetooth on the N8 phone itself but I don't have any way to prove it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy problem is that when I'm texting it will all of a sudden 'crash' I have tried removing the battery, giving it a few minutes and replacing the battery and again it 'crashes' It has happened a few times now and have found if I leave it for an hour or two without the battery in then replace it and try again it is fine. Last night the same thing occured but now when I turn it on it switches off again. I can't get past the date and time screen I don't know if it's due to a memory storage issue or software issue. I received my Nokia C6-00 phone last year around December and it's been working great until a few days ago when I noticed my phone started to having "lines" moving on the screen. I tried reseting my phone but the "lines" were still there. My screen starts shaking whenever I tried to use the keyboard function or it sometimes just blank out on me. Now, today, my phone just completely wouldn't cooperate with me at all...like even opening it, I would see multiple lines and the screen would shake even more to the point I can't see my main screen at all.

It have only had the phone for 1 day and it has restarted about 10 times so far.It always happens when I go in to Maps but it also restarts when it is just in the screensaver sitting on my desk.I have tried a hard reset but it is still the same.Should I send this phone back or should I just wait a while to see if a firmware/software update fixes it?If I have to send it back so soon I will be really cheesed off.

Althought the phone shows that it is charging (battery indicator) my phone just gave me a short warning about low battery and then shut off after it has been loading since 4 hours.
