I am looking for different methods to organize application folders on the homescreen so that they stand out from the regular apps.I am not a Photoshop pro, so was hoping someone can make my idea come to life.In this same attached file, I wanted to make the last row of apps and the docked apps background darkened too, just like the right side is vertically darkened to include app folders in it.Currently, only 4 folders would fit in that horizontally darkened area.By horizontally darkening the entire bottom last row and docked apps, the darkened area will now include 7 folders and the docked apps themselves. Can someone make this for me and post here? Also, does anyone have any folder arrangement ideas of their own that they would like to share?
When i go to menu and click applications it does not open. But according to the phone you have entered the folder. The application folder is opened but is not seen. Only it stays in menu itself. Tried software update and reinstalling software.
I've created a folder on my application screen, into which I have placed some apps. My kids sometimes get hold of my phone and wear my battery out playing games. Is it possible to password protect a folder that you make on the application screen?
i hv just bought xperia mini pro.can i create a folder in gallery album application is taking a photo from gallery as cover image for audio file. how to avoid this?
I just purchased my phone. I can't view any of my contacts that have only an organization name. I can't view contacts that do not have a first name either. Do I not have a setting correct? Even if I create a new contact I still can't view it.
I have several entry's in my phone contacts (set up as google contacts) where they have no first or last name and only and organization name (i.e. ABC Plumbing Supply). The name shows up in my contact list on my phone, however, when I search for these contacts, either with the search function in the contacts app, or the search glass in the bottom right corner, I do not get these contacts in my search query.I saw another thread where someone had to do a hard reset which seemed to fix this. I really would like to avoid that if possible...Another thread said to clear the contact storage cache - mine currently has 0 kb and is not selectable.
I use Thunderbird as my desktop e-msil software and want to transfer my address book to the Torch contact file. I transferred the address book toa csv file but get this error when doing the organizer sync. I went through all the settings in the desktop software
when I search contacts on my Motorola admiral it only searches first and last names. So if I have a contact without a first or last name it doesn't show up in the results at all. How can this be? A business centric phone can't search contacts by organization/business name! I called sprint and Motorola support and their solution was for me to manually go through all my contacts and put something in the first/last name field
My question has nothing to do with a hardware issue. In itunes I have about 300 or so ringtones in the MUSIC folder. How I did that is beyond me. I would be grateful if someone could tell me how to move them all to the TONES folder where they belong.
Updated my Blackberry software to v5.0 on my Tour 9630 and now I'm missing my AOL email folder. Now receiving my emails in my messages folder. Does anyone have a solution to getting my AOL email folder back and getting my emails sent there as well. I've tried a couple things with no luck!
I've got my messages, emails, etc. etc. moved out of the messages folder to their respective icons. The only thing I can't figure out and haven't yet found in the forums, is how to move the missed calls from my message folder.I don't want to use the messages folder for anything. I've tried hiding it but it still shows the missed calls. Is there a way to make a missed calls folder, or add them to the sms/mms folder like my voicemail notices are?
why there is no way to create a shortcut to a folder or a file inside a folder in your memory card, it seems to me a very important function and yet no one complains but me.I have an office file which I use daily which is saved in E:My filesaccountshomeofficeworddaily.docIt would be great to add a shortcut to that file on the desktop. or at least to that folder.Or lets say I'm listening to an audiobook which is in: E:My filesAudioAudiobookspersonalBorn to runCD5chapter 4.mp3Every time I want to listen to this I have to dig deep in the file manager.
My battery came out, and when I turned my Blackberry Curve 8900 back on , my SMS folder was missing.I was able to find it by: 1. Clicking the blackberry button 2. Clicking messages 3. Clicking the BB button again and scrolling to "View Folder" There I have options like "browser messages" "facebook messages" "mms inbox" etc. There are two sections SMS inbox and SMS outbox. I can get to my text messages that way, but its really tedious. If I click on SMS inbox it takes me to what used to be my text screen. When I click the BB button again, there are no "move options"Anyone know how to get it back to being its own icon on the front screen?
Could anyone help me please, My user folder has somehow made it's way into my pictures folder, folder. I can't delete (which i suspect i shouldn't) or move it. This doesn't inter fear with the running of the phone but it annoys me. Could someone tell me how to move it please. I suspect it's really easy but don't want to do something wrong and mess up my phone.
I deleted the applications folder on my BlackBerry Torch 9810, and although i still have the applications that were in the folder, the folder is no longer there, so the only way for me to access those applications is through the search.
Today I noticed that the email folder is not there any more. Only the messages folder exists. I tried removing the battery. Erasing the email account and re-creating it, but no luck. Emails are in the main messages folder but I do not see a seperate email folder. .
I have a Nokia x6 16 gb..I had it for about a week in which time I added 14gb of music and the uk maps..All was working perfectly. However.... Last Saturday I decided to use the "comes with music" voucher that came with it..I selected the music I wanted and downloaded it and was told that I had to download the DRM software to play...I clicked yes and then waited and waited..it seemed my phone had frozen as ovi player would not transfer any music to it.. I unplugged it and tried to plug back in but got the dreaded "mtp device driver failed". I have tried everything I have read on these forums and the web including:- Deleting the folder in the private folder on the mass storage card. performing a hard reset on the phone (although my music was still on the card?) Deleting all of the nokia software and running the nokia cleaner and reinstalling... Doing the above but disabling Windows media player and reanabling it a later date still no joy.. I have windows 7 home premium 64 bit on my desktop so no options to reinstall WMP just disable. I have tried to plug it into my wifes' laptop which has windows 7 home premium 32 bit and I get the same message however her nokia 5800 works fine in her laptop..
Every time I create and rename a new folder, it comes back to the default name "Folder", after a system reboot.Any suggestions to fix this issue ? I think it is related to MotoBlur, since I did not find anything related on other phones that don't use MotoBlur.
have just got my 8520 and connected my email addresses. Everything is showing up in both the Message folder and SMS folder. How can I keep the Message folder just for my email and the SMS just for my text messages?

Does anyone know if there's an equivalent application to the Swype Application. I seen it on his HTC Touch Pro. I tried to look for one on the HTC Hero Market, and no luck.
