Nokia Nseries :: 700 : Missing Many Things After Update?
Dec 27, 2011i had some hardware issues in my nokia 700. just yesterday i received back my cell from Nokia care.while resolving the issue, they had updated the firmware.now i am missing many things in my cell.Fruit Ninja game, Angry Birds magic, and 3 more apps which came pre-installed are not there.further, to make it worse, my phone now denies to play mp4 format videos, which earlier it used to play.god know, what's more missing and i will come to know later.somebody please guide me towards how to get these this back..

Jun 17, 2010would like to know if anyone is having problems with navigating menus and also when the camera is in operation the menus flicker as though its trying to turn the camera function off causing videos to freeze in play back mode. May 16, 2012I bought laptop, downloaded itunes and have recently synced my phone to it. Now my music is on there but no pictures which is fine. But every time I plug my phone in it tells me that there is an update available for 5.1.1. I click update then it sends me a warning message saying updating the iOs 5.1.1. will delete the apps, media, and including the itunes purchases. To preserve the content update it to the computer where i sync music, apps, photos, and videos. Where and how do I do that and if I've already sync my phone, i think, is it safe to continue the update without losing all my music and pictures on my phone?
Some one please help it's been so long since I've done this

May 21, 2012My wife's iphone was tied to a laptop iTunes library. The laptop's hard drive died some time ago, and she has since refused to update the iOS version or sync the phone with another computer, for fear of losing access to the considerable amount of non-iTunes MP3s that were formerly on her laptop, and are now only stored on her iPhone.
So my question is twofold:
1) Can I update the iOS for her without syncing the itunes library on the phone? She is currently running iOS 3.1.3 (7E18). If I can update it, how do I do so safely?
2) Is there any way to set up a new iTunes library on her new laptop without destroying the music library she already has on the phone?
My goal would be to simply get the iOS version and iTunes database up to the latest version, so we can subscribe her to the iCloud service and back up all her music.

Jun 24, 2014Each time I update the software on my iphone it stops sending text / imessages. Is there a way to ensure that this most basic of functions works whether the software updates or is the answer trawling through a bunch of 'troubleshooting' pages? the primary purposes of my phone are voice calls and text messages, it baffles me how this piece of equipment will regularly stop doing these things, seemingly at random. Any way not including reference to the troubleshooting pages, even if it's 'stop updating'.

I have one area left that I need to get a handle on, and that is keeping track of my prescriptions. I don't have many scripts, but I used my PDA to reference them when I went to the doctor's office as it was much easier to do it that way, than to carry a list. I would like to be able to launch an app and have it show these meds. At present I have them in a form of word document, with the med name, dosage and time taken on a line for each med.

Motorola Atrix HD :: Battery Life Losing Power Faster After Update?
Oct 25, 2012I finally broke down and installed the Atrix HD update yesterday. What a mistake. Prior to installing the update, I could drive from home to work and have the battery drop from 100% to 95% in about 20 minutes or so (which, is terrible as well). Today after installing the update my battery went from 100% to 87% in the same 20 minutes. I can't believe that an update that was presented good for battery life actually makes it worse! I can say however, that the performance of the phone is better (touch responses, less laggy, etc, but I am sure that is at the cost of battery life). Other than a hard reset is there anyway to get this update off of the the phone?

-threaded sms
-virtual keyboard(portrait and landscape)
-transition (theme)effects
-fluid kinetic scrolling
-smooth and fast browsing(everywhere)
-smile/face detection for camera
-single tap(probably won't happen on n97 though)
If all these things can make it into N97.
