IPhone :: How To Transfer Older Picture To Win 7 PC
Jun 17, 2012
I have an older picture (short video) that is too large to email from my iPhone 4s. It dose not sync to my iCloud account because it is over 30 days old. How can I get it uploaded to my W7 pc so I can share it?
In reading up on iPhone firmware v3.1.2 seems preferred if one wants to unlock. In shopping for a new (to me) iPhone most seem to have 3.1.3 - the unlock procedure for this does not seem for the fainthearted. So, my question is where I might find a DIY guide for reverting to older firmware (i.e. 3.1.2) - assuming such is possible.
Once I connect the iPhone4S to laptop, I can see the following folder, "ComputerApple iPhoneInternal StorageDCIM", without any picture files in the folder, though there are atleast 80 pictures in the camera roll.
I can't seem to transfer my pictures from my phone to my computer. I can view them just fine on my phone, but as soon as I move them over to my computer the images are all invalid and I can't view them anymore. I've only tried with pictures I took with the camera on my phone so I don't know if this applies to downloaded images as well.
I searched around the forum and it seems a couple of people ran into this or something similar to this but I haven't come across a definite solution that doesn't require me to go online with my phone.
Took photo with iphone 4s. Picture displays in picture preview on bottom left, but is not in camera roll. Pic should be in phone somewhere since it's in preview.
I recently updated to ios 5.1, and after about 10-40 seconds after unlocking my phone it stops to see my finger touches. the buttons work but not the touch screen. and this also hapens sometimes when I go to unlock the screen. so I have to lock the screen and try to unlock it to use the phone for about 30 seconds and then have it do the same thing making me lock it and unlock it again. I'm starting to think it is the ios 5.1 not liking my phone. I have a 3gs 16 gig. My screen was cracked and I had it replaced along with the digitizer, and when I got it back I did a restore and thats when it added the ios 5.1. So I was wondering if I can go back to an older ios and how to do that.
I'm trying to upgrade my 3.2 iPad to 3.2.1 but I don't know where to get non-current software from. I remember there being a site that listed every firmware update for every iOS device but I can't find it and I never bookmarked it.
Since installing the new operating system my battery life is about 24 hours whereas it was almost 72 hours before. How do I reinstall the old operating system?
i deleted all my photos and accidently plugged in my iphone and it did an automatic back up. is there anyway i can get the photos back. i did an earlier back up before i deleted the photos.
I have a MacBook Pro (running OSX 10.7.3), an iPad (running iOS 5.1) and an iPhone 3g (running iOS 4.2.1) I am syncing my iPad contacts and my MacBook Pro contacts using iCloud but when I sync my iPhone it does not sync my contacts. I want all three devices to be the same.
I've recently needed to get back to the beginning of a conversation (to settle an argument) but after pressing the load earlier message tab numerous times the beginning of the conversation isn't there? On a hunch I deleted 2 messages from the conversation and it added 2 messages to the beginning of the conversation so the messages are obviously still stored in the memory of the phone. I've got 2 questions, first, why won't it let me go right back and second is there a way to bring back earlier messages? I'm using an iPhone 4S
i think its the 3gs. I want to install facebook on it but its telling me that i need version 4.0 iOS. is there a way for me to get an older version of facebook that i can install on this phone?
When I synch my iPhone via iTunes my notes on my iPhone keep getting replaced by an older version (presumably saved on my computer). How do I maintain my notes on my iPhone without being replaced by whatever is on my computer? Also, how do I restore to the previous notes on my iPhone?
I know mac has a program to load older txt messages, but I am using windows. I need to load back my earlier messages but it took me ages and the phone become very slow and lag. Is there any other ways to load beside that phone viewer only for mac user? It is so unfriendly for other user. I need something that window user can use to load earlier txt messages.

This is for my father-in-law's phone. He has just basic service, so no text or data plan. Bitpim doesn't appear to support it and I cannot find a USB driver for it. The phone does not currently have Kies installed (I don't even know if it is supported on this phone). And he can't install new applications because he has no data plan. Is he pretty much out of luck or is there some alternate way of doing this that I haven't discovered yet?
It's funny, I've read a bunch of pages on restoring firmware that Apple is no longer signing. Some of them go on and on like theres no tomorrow, with steps and procedures. Some recommend downloading tinyumbrela and going through that whole process. All of them recommended putting your phone in DFU mode before proceeding.I decided to put a fresh copy of 4.0.1 on my phone and re jailbreak because my phone had slowed down due to trying out tons of random stuff. So when I went to restore I thought I was in for some work. After really reading some of these pages, I thought "why the hell would you have to go through all this trouble? As long as iTunes thinks it got its signature, it should work as normal". Well I was right. All I did was add that one line to the hosts file, using notepad. I then opened iTunes, held shift, clicked restore, clicked the 4.0.1 firmware and...that was it. iTunes verified the software, installed it, re-synced, and boom done. No DFU mode, no downloading my SHSH's, no kicking out of recovery mode. Just let iTunes do it's thing.
How do I sync older Apple messages to my iphone? I dont want ALL of my old emails, just say 6 months back. My pop mail in Iphone only sync ones from the last 1 month. Unlike gmail, this email doesnt have mail, calendar and notes on/off buttons, and no archive button either. I ve tried: Deleting the account and adding it again...didnt work.Change the account setting from pop to imap...it keeps verifying until i have to restart my iphone. To sync it over Itunes (but it did say that it only sync the settings and not the messages )Even creating an Icloud account...
I bought an Iphone 4s in November 11 and i setup my pop3 email account in my iphone. Everything was working good. I dont delete message from the server so i can get my message on my computer too.
I keep most of my messages in my iphone, But today, there remains only the last day message ...
I was wondering if it is possible to use a playlist on the iphone 4s with a very old stereo system? It is a great sound system but lacks the ability to plug in any adapters. The speakers are wired throughout the house and outside.
