IPhone :: Can't Transfer Videos To PC
Apr 6, 2012I'm not a newbie to PCs or iPhones.But, I've got a really weird problem which could very well be a Windows XP problem and not an iPhone problem. I took 4 30-minute HD videos on my iPhone 4S the other day and want to transfer them to my PC.
Here's the problem: Using Windows Explorer shows that there are only 3 videos, not 4, and I'm unable to transfer them. They end up becoming 0KB movie files on my HDD.The same is true for the Scanner and Camera Wizard. Plus, using the Scanner and Camera Wizard yields an odd error message to the effect of "there is not enough storage to complete this operation."

Jun 5, 2010Synced iphone to the Macbook and said basically it will erase everything from iphone if I go further b/c it was attached to another computer (which doesn't work anymore). I looked up online and it said if you connect the iphone it will show under devices in "Finder", but it doesn't on mine, reconnected and nothing shows for the phone in devices. Plus i have all my apps and custom wallpaper vids etc on vwallpaper that now I'm worried will be deleted.

Aug 3, 2010On vacations, I shoot various movies on my Iphone 4. It got full, so I transfered 1g of videos to a PC and then continued shooting. I went home, and cleared some space on the phone and wanted to transfer back the videos to the iPhone as to edit the whole videos/pictures with Imovie for iPhone.
Now I can't find a way to transfer these videos back to my phone without Itunes "optimizing" them.
Questions ?Is the optimizing process degrading the quality of videos and pictures so much that I need to find another way to transfer my files to the Iphone before I edit them in a new Imovie project ?
If so, how do I transfer full quality pictures and videos to my Iphone ? In a way that would enable me to use them in a Imovie project.
Also, I am using a PC with vista and an Iphone 4 with iOS 4.0.

In the future I will change the setting so that the videos are stored on the Sd card, but for now I just need to copy them from the device to the card.
