Before i can transfer all my Photos and videos from iphone to pc but when i updated my itunes to version 10 no autoplay popped up window and my pc doesnt detect the portable device/iphone anymore. View 13 Replies View RelatedI just got a new samsung s6 edge previously an apple user and really annoyed by this phone, all I hear from friends is apple is so crap well I've never had an issue with iphones for me they worked how they were meant to work, now I have the s6 edge and problem after problem doing the most basic of things, the most annoying of which is photos.
I'm trying to drag photos from the dcim folder of the phone to my windows 8.1 desktop, obviously connected by usb I have the drivers installed etc have used both the mtp and ptp options in phone, neither option works each time I drag to desktop all the windows close screen turns grey like explorer crashes and the desktop refreshes, also done copy and paste does the same thing.
I don't want to use software as only way to do it which is slow and laborious is like google photos etc. surely if its treated as a storage device just copy and drag, really annoyed as it should be so simple.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIf I email a photo from my Camera Roll, it opens up fine on the PC. If I connect the phone to my PC via USB, though, whether I choose USB Mass Storage, or Windows Media Sync, I can't get the valid photo files transferred it seems. The transferred files would be "invalid" to open on my PC running Windows 7. If I choose Windows Media Sync, and then use Windows Media Center to Import the files, it would always get stuck at ~45% completion. The imported files can be opened, but then the rest somehow can't even be transferred.
I used to have data and device encryption on. I turned both off when I found out about this problem, but the same issues remain.
I tried using HTC Sync but I always receive an error that says "Fail to mount/unmount device storage card. (1020)". I can't believe a phone this expensive makes this process so difficult.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm not a newbie to PCs or iPhones.But, I've got a really weird problem which could very well be a Windows XP problem and not an iPhone problem. I took 4 30-minute HD videos on my iPhone 4S the other day and want to transfer them to my PC.
Here's the problem: Using Windows Explorer shows that there are only 3 videos, not 4, and I'm unable to transfer them. They end up becoming 0KB movie files on my HDD.The same is true for the Scanner and Camera Wizard. Plus, using the Scanner and Camera Wizard yields an odd error message to the effect of "there is not enough storage to complete this operation."

Since purchasing my iphone 5s It has never worked or been visible on my laptop (Itunes will back it up but as for getting photos off it - has never let me) I have tried EVERYTHING. Currently upgrading my phone and don't want to lose all my photos.
The device is unlocked, I have tried it on my home and work computer without any avail.
Auto play comes up and when import picture is chosen it states I have none.
As soon as I select "trust computer" on the iphone, the device disappears.
I've updated all drivers and tried random fixes and nothing seems to work. I read somewhere that having a photo that was saved from a website maybe whats stopping it? I have thousands of photos so going through them all and deleting saves ones isn't exactly a possibility.Â

Actually I have iphone 4 and while transfering data from my pc to my iphone 4 I can transfer music and photo and all but not the video, whenever i try to transfer video after sync my phone syncs but on my iphone i see a message that ( ) items could not be synced see itunes for more information.
