When I take my iPhone out of my pocket, I find myself sometimes searching for the home button only to realize it's the back of the phone. Not a huge deal. Still love the design and it feels great in hand.

I have a first generation Touch, that has a flat back and it's harder to comfortably hold in my hand compared to the rounded back of my iPhone 3G. I never thought the rounded back would make that much of a difference, but it does. Any thoughts?

My mums iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1.1 had 30% battery left this morning then 10mins later I tried calling her and it rang out and went to voicemail.. 5mins later she noticed phone was unresponsive and had a black screen and pressing buttons wouldn't do anything oh and she didn't feel the phone vibrate or ring when i was calling... so after pressing both unlock circle and top button and putting on charge it appeared the phone had lost all battery power.
So the phone went from 30% to 0% in a matter of 15mins? We think the phone may still be under apple 1yr warrant but not sure. But any else experienced this issue and is there any I can do or should it be taken back to apple to look at?

iPhone 4S won't connect to any charger or computer to charge or connect. The battery is now flat and I really need to get some photos from the phone that are not backed up, is there any way I can access it like a USB thumb drive to copy the photos.

I'd really like to be able to watch movies in my dorm, and I just got a new Vizio TV from walmart. If I have the netflix app on my iphone, how would I go about connecting the iphone to the TV, to take advantage of the unlimited movies? What exactly do I need to buy, and would the output be high quality and worth it?
Oh, and I'm not considering doing it through my computer because my internet usage is somewhat monitored,and my university will bill me if I go over. I have 5 bars anyways so it's not that big of a deal.
My daughter has lost her phone at home and cant find it, she cant ring the phone as the battery is dead, any ideas.

View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to charge it using my PC's USB port, the PC will try and identify it as a flash drive, but it will then bomb out - this is an endless cycle (the sound Windows makes when adding USB Flash drive and then removing it). Using different USB ports has the same result. I am not sure whether charging occurs, but after 10min or so I am still unable to switch the phone on.So I went to the device manager and I can see it reloading each time the N97 tries to register as a USB device. Then I went and looked at which port the N97 is connected to (open each USB root hub and look at the Power tab - ie refresh each time the new device found sound is played from Windows - the USB hub that will be connected to the phone will be indicated by "nokia usb flashing parent"). By disabling the applicable hub, the phone actually showed the Nokia logo on a white screen with the battery life indicator (non charging)when I then re-enabled the USB Root Hub, the display remained on the phone and it started charging.Without disabling the hub the phone would just continue to endlessly find and then discard the "flash drive".I was using Windows XP SP3.Nokia OVIsuite 2.2.0.241 I did manually terminate any Nokia processes prior to disabling the USB Root Hub (not sure how many tried to rerun again)finally it is charging again. Wasn't too keen on what happened, because I don't carry the charger with me when traveling abroad.

I have removed two new apps that I thought might be the problem (Add Contact and Data monitor app), but it has not really made any difference. I have since followed the advice on this Forum to dim the screen and reduce the timeout.

I have had this phone now for about 4 months and i like the phone a lot...i dont use the phone a lot at all realy may get 1 call a day and make 1 call a day and send receive some messages so i can go all most a week with out charging but in the last week it has started going flat in just 24 hrs...this happend once before and then i found that there was a app running so once i turned that off it was right but this time i cant find anything running...what should i do !

I love listening to music from every genre, but I find that the default "None" or flat equalizer settings are pretty terrible. I've gone through the various presets available, but none of them are perfect for a wide range of musical selections. If there was one thing I couldn't complain about the iPhone, it was the audio quality. The equalizer on my iPhone was always zeroed out, but the sound quality was always great.

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen trying to use the motion launch gestures while the phone (M8) is lying on a flat surface? I found that the double tap or swiping the phone while it's on a table does not always activate the phone. However, when the phone is in my hand, it works as it should. I'm thinking maybe it's because the phone has a rounded back so when you tap it, the phone will seesaw and it messes with the internal sensor. I never have this problem when the phone is in my hand because the way the phone contours to the hand and making it more stable.

When the phone is laying flat on a hard surface the screen is completely unresponsive. As soon as a pick it up everything is fine.
The other issue is in regards to the keyboard which seems to be hit or miss on recognizing input near the edges of the screen.
I suspect it could be the tempered glass screen protector but I don't want to remove it if others have the issue if there is a known software issue.
My G-sensor(flipping the phone) dosen't work. whenever i click calibrate on any flat horizontal surface it says calibration aborted. This has not always been the case as it was working when i first got it. but now it dosent work, i have even tried factory reset. i am sending it in to be repaired but i was wondering if this was a big problem or just me?

I brought it into at and t today and they said i was not eligible for a warranty replacement because it only covers manufacturing problems. If i go to the apple store will i have to pay a screen replacement fee or exchange. Would it be cheaper if i replaced both screens or just traded?

Tried out my first face time call. Everything worked great except when I pushed the toggle to utilize the back camera, the person I was talking to said their image of me simply froze. They were not able to see through my back camera. When they switched to their back camera I saw everything fine.

I've tried numerous battery pulls, reinstalled the OS, repaired the OS, changed my backlight settings. Security wipe and re install. I don't know what caused it. Nothing had been installed on the phone for the past couple months, and it only started 3 days ago. Screen Lock does nothing.

Anybody got good uses for this besides facetime and dumb chatroulette references? I never use face time, and am trying to find at least some use for this but seriously have never used it except for a few times to just test it out or show off.
