My daughter has an iphone 4 and has taken video which she wants to download onto my macbook pro. Can I connect any iphone to my itunes in order to download the footage to iphoto. If not how do I download the video footage, my daughter has a windows based machine, I want to edit the footage and then save to DVD for her.

I know I was able to do this last summer without any 3rd party apps. There is a "trimmer" but I can't even get 15 seconds worth of video. Got it down in file size to 1.1MB and I still get a "failed" warning.

when watching a Internet video today a guy had his icons sorted by categories.the categories were in a semi circle withy only half showing on the screen. he could rotate the semi circle so the missing half appeared.i can't trace the video to find the person who posted the video.does anybody know how i can do that with categories?

When I open the camera app I switch over to video camera and tap the record button but nothing happens. The camera does not record. I do not see a video time counter and I cannot do anything else with the camera. I can't stop the recording because it doesn't think it is recording. Odd. BTW, this was happening before 5.1 update.

I've downloaded apps via the store before, however I was having trouble with MobileTag.It says "Downloading 0%" and hasn't changed.
I tried clicking Cancel and then Download. I have also tried exiting the Store and trying again.I went to store.ovi.com and it shows MobileTag as Downloaded even though it hasn't and I can't re-download it.

I just had a broken iPhone replaced and I started downloading my apps from my old iPhone back onto my new one, via iCloud, in the Apple Store. When I left the Apple Store, they stopped downloading (naturally), as I was not connected to WiFi- but once I got home and re-connected to WiFi, they would not continue downloading. Even when you disable the setting to use cellular data for music downloads, when you enable iTunes match and are downloading files, if you walk away from your hotspot, iTunes keeps downloading you music.I've tried anything, but only completly disabling cellular data (network setting) prevents me from using up loads of data traffic while having iTunes Match downloads.

I'm having an issue with Gmail (IMAP) not downloading attachments from myself! (I use Gmail to archive documents, etc). Same issue on my iPhone 4 and iPad 3, both iOS 5.1, using the default mail app with default "Gmail" account (IMAP) set up.They *were* both working fine, then I erased both devices for a clean install. My iPhone 4S keeps asking me for my password - over and over - when I try to download an app. I've noticed that when I try to download free apps or update an existing app, it lets me do it. But if I try to download a free app or even a ringtune it will tell me I need to update payment info, then goes to ask for my password, then it requests my password again and again.

Ever since I downloaded the new IOS software I have had problems downloading music in itunes on my iphone4.I can access the itunes store on my phone, i can purchase the music and then when the phone starts to download it goes through part way and then starts over and continues to do this over and over.It never downloads on the actual phone. I was using Outlook Express to send & receive mail. And then (because Outlook Express has been giving me fits with errors and needing to put my password in every time I wanted to use it) I switched to Mail (the one that came on my Mac).Â
And now, with Mail, something crazy is happening on my iPhone and iPad. It showed that it was downloading and downloading and downloading, but I don’t know what it was downloading. Archived stuff? Everything that is in everything in every folder on my Mac?
Then it stopped downloading stuff, and now it won’t send, I get an error saying that it Cannot Send Mail.Â
I tried to delete my email account from settings so that I could start over, but the gear just spun and spun for over 30 minutes.Â
I think that it must be connected to the fact that I switched from Outlook Express to Mail.Â
