I know that the blackberry phones store a much longer call log which is incredibly handy. is there anyway, besides buying that calLog app for 10$ that this can be increased to about 1000 on the IPhone.

Since updating my iPhone4 to 5.1 I seem to be using much more data. My phone will show that it's on WiFi...and my ATT phone bill is showing data charges at the same time. Does anyone know a solution to this problem? It is happening on all 3 of the iPhones I own.

I live in Downtown Los Angeles, so reception isn't a problem. I usually always get full bars. However, when talking on long phone calls 20+ minutes with full bars, my phone will just cut off and say call failed. Then I have no reception, then it just comes back.
Is this a iPhone issue or a ATT issue? I have an odd suspicion it's my phone because it occurs so frequently, but Ive had difficulty asking the apple bar to replace my phone just because of reception issues.
The call log in my nokia 5530 is not recording missed calls, recieved calls or dialed calls.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got the latest software (v50) for my phone and have had a few annoyances. Firstly my text when writing a text sometimes randomly starts deleting itself as though the delete has got a mind of its own and has locked or something, meaning I helplessly watch my text get deleted. Secondly, when browsing, occasionally if I bring up the back and option buttons (coming out of full screen mode) they just wont appear and I cannot do anything unless I close and reload the page. Thirdly when touching an icon, it may not realise for a while and I have to keep pressing it other times I accidently press something once and it opens it. The new features are great, but the problems are annoying and is it possible the sensitivity can still be increased as its almost perfect in terms of touch sensivity from a finger. I end up using my nail to help it along sometimes.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI noticed a couple of days ago that my phones battery consumption has increased considerably, from lasting just over a day I now only get to mid-evening before it needs recharging. I have also noticed that the screen isn't turning itself off (if I press the power button once the screen does go off but often the screen does comes back on) and the password requirement isn't kicking in.
I have tried setting the screen timeout to 30 seconds and the need for a password to one minute but the phone is ignoring my setting change. I haven't installed a new app nor changed an app settings recently either. I have done a hard reset (to factory settings) but this has made no difference (I also noted that the hard reset didn't roll back any updates either - Is this right?).
Yesterday, I went into view folder to clean out phone logs. I don't know why, but I had 9 sets of duplicate folders. I hooked up to Desktop Manager and went into Advanced under Backup and Restore. Once there, I cleared the file database- file problem solved. I happened to see a file in the same list called Browser cache that was several megs big. That was strange because I always clear my cache. I cleared that file as well. On startup this morning the phone was under 30 seconds to come up. Browser speed is also at least 2x faster than it was and holding strong at that increase. Not sure what those files had to do with anything other than the obvious but I am very impressed with the results.

But is there anyway that I can block or restrict certain numbers from my phone? That is, to have the phone send that particular number/call straight to voicemail with the call just showing in my call log. I would like to if this can be done from the phone without additional software. Or can someone recommend a program that can accomplish this. (Ideally, a free software!)

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my recent calls or rather the call log (sorry, but since English is not my mother language I might mix up the terms but let me explain)When I push the green phone button in the main menu I am used to finding a menu where i can see who I last called, who called me and so on. Little green and blue phone symbols next to the names indicate whether a call was incoming or outgoing.This menu does not work somehow. When I press the green button I get some kind of list, which looks pretty much like the one I just described and which always used to be there, but the phone icons and the timestamps are missing! So I cannot see, whether any given call was incoming or outgoing and what time the call was made.Is there any way to fix this?Can I somehow "reassign" the green phone button to my call log?
