Whenever I receive a text message the volume increased using headset while listening to music. It is very annoying since you will need to lower down the volume again everytime there is a message.

This does it on the home screen, browsing on line, in the market etc etc.lso, battery life? I can honestly (no exaggeration) sit there and watch the battery count down 59...58... Dud battery? Cant seem to make mine last a whole day without it dieing. I'm using task killers etc to make sure no apps are running that i dont want running whilst it's in my pocket etc

whenever I am outside and I get a call, I can hardly hear it. And yes, I have the pocket mode ticked on to make the sound higher. What is the point of creating a high-end mobile phone when you miss out on calls because of the speaker being so lousy? My old sony ericsson (not even a smartphone) had much higher volume
Had my HTC Sensation break today.Only had it 3 months so it's still under warranty. The volume rocker fell off. Called T-mobile. They said it was a known issue and would be covered but they said I had to call HTC. So I did. THEY said I had to mail back the BACK of the phone because it was an ACCESSORY! This was not a separate purchase. It was the back that came with the phone! The regular back cover. And after mailing the back, back to HTC they would mail me a replacement. Now if this is a known issue, why isn't T-mobile dealing with it as a customer service? I shouldn't have to mail it back to HTC. It is already an inconvenience to have to drive to the T-mobile store. Or HTC should cover postage. When Dell has to replce a part, they send you a prepaid return label. It is the last HTC phone I will buy and may be the last time I renew with T-mobile.

I recently noticed a new icon / symbol on the top of the screen and I can't understand what it means.It is on top right half of line immediately on left side of "3G" and shaped like a "W" made up of dots with a phone resting on top. I can't remember seeing this before but I'm not so sure now. I did not download any applications at all and my phone seemed to work okay until now except the ring volume appeared to be non existant in the last call I received.

The phone works great except for the fact that I now have an issue with a high pitched sound coming out the 3.5mm headphone jack which is connected through my car audio system, when i try to make a phonecall. My music plays fine through the same setup so not sure what is causing the high pitched noise when i try to make a phonecall.

1) I sent a message (saved on my BB)
2) I received a sent confirmation (the 'V' next to the message -> info from server it was sent and saved on my BB)
3) not received by recipient...
4) I finally received a received confirmaton (the 'R' appearing over the 'V' to say it was received -> info from the server that the recipient received my message, and this info, shown by the 'R' on my mobile, should thus most probably be saved somewhere on my BB as it is shown on my device, and was only shown when info was received from server!)But I do not know WHERE TO FIND IT??? (I only see when I sent the message)Now, we have to find where it is saved And I think we can only find it by plugging the BB on a PC and searching for internal logs...
Since last tuesday, I am not receiving text message notification on my phone. It is not only after I made a phone call that the text message notification show up. I check all the settings and they seems to be okay.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got a text message from an agency I work for giving me details and the address of a contract I was due to start that night. I'd also reeived and set up my s6 the previous day and went to cut and paste the postcode from the received message into googlemaps searchbar like I'd done millions of times before on my old HT desire hd. It would not let me bring up the cursor tool to select just the postcode so I had to copy the whole text of the message. Inconveinent but okay I'll just delete what I don't need. Pasted this into googlemaps searchbar and begun to delete the excess text. First the stuff and the end of the text message then off to the beginning... hang on?? there is no way of getting to the beginning of thetext to delete the excess there. I couldn't point as the searchbar scrolls along and there is no left or right arrow on the keypad to move across. I couldn't believe it! I'd been doing this fot years on myHTC Desire hd and that as like 4 years old!
Maybe I'm missing something so I played arounda little more and discovered the clipboard but couldn't find a way to edit I'd copied here either?? I called my network provider and they didn't have any answers so gave me samsungs number who I phoned and also seemed to have no answers??? Really I don't get how the cursor used to select the required text is available everywhere else but in received messages?? It was there in email, there in composing texts, there on the web??
cutting and pasting a postcode from a received text message into googlemaps should not be this much hardwork or at least it wasn't on my HTC
Had a Desire from Orange for a couple of months, one of the most annoying issues is that sometimes when I get a text, it doesn't register all the notifications when the phone is idle: I always get the notification sound / vibrate. Sometimes I don't get the flashing green led. Sometimes I don't get the message summary on the lock screen. So if I don't hear the message come in I often miss it. I'm constantly having to wake up/unlock the phone just to check the actual message app whic is a) really tedious and b) probably not doing much for battery life. When I say sometimes, it's probably about 10% of the time, and one or other or both problems can occurr. I can't find any correlation other than having the messages app active when the phone sleeps *may* exacerbate it, but I'm not totally sure and it definitely does happen when the app is not running too.
