Galaxy S6 :: Missed Calls Not Showing In Call Log?
Jun 18, 2015
I'm not sure why, but some missed calls are not going to the call log. I dismissed the missed calls from the notification, and then went to check it in in the call log and it wasn't there.
Are there any settings I need to change to see all missed calls?
For some odd reason missed calls are not showing on my call log.And for reference I have done the following:
- Checked and searched forums / the web
- Did a battery pull
- Checked application memory, standing strong at 85 MB
- Memory card has 1.8GB As well
- Cleared browser history and other memory 'stuff' just for the sake of it
The problem is old Missed calls are showing, but the new ones aren't. I haven't got the slightest clue why really, and I'm hoping someone here can help me out.
I miss a call. I get the notification and dismiss it.
If I go to the Phone app, under Recent I see all my other calls - incoming, outgoing, and rejected. But it doesn't show me my missed calls. So once I dismiss the notification I have no record of the missed call.
For some reason after I reboot the last missed call always shows as missed even though it was cleared when it was received. It seems to do that with facebook as well.
In the iPhone 4 or 4s, I know that I can see the time of the missed call in the notification, in the 3gs, will I only see the name of the person who called without the time beside it?
I have somehow set my message box to only show missed calls & I can't get it back to showing all messages?I have looked in messages options - inbox management & Desktop is ticked as well as text messages. I also in 'phone', options, call logs and lists, changed 'Show These Call Log Types in Message List' to None & it still only shows Missed Call as the title & shows the list. I looked in the long on-line manual but it didn't help. Also I tried View Folder to select different mail folders from my desk based Outlook list but still the display is stuck...
My 920I Galaxy S6 has stopped receiving calls, either if I am using the phone or it is locked I won't receive any call, I have to restart my phone to get the messages of missed calls and call them back. I tried many different modems, bootloader, roms and firmwares and nothing has worked. Also, I tried both on WIFI and 3G/4G and it doesn't work.
How can I view my missed calls from my Call Log screen? The only way I can currently see them is to select "All Calls" in the "Show these call log types in message list".This simply doesn't work for me? I already get 100+ emails a day and another 50+ phone calls; to have them all jumbled together in one folder?
My call log (Bold 9000) has recently started only logging missed calls. There is no record of received or dialed numbers.I'm sure I didn't change anything to make it start doing this.I have tried going into Options, Call Logging and ensuring 'none' is selected for showing in the Message List.Is there a fix for this?
Today I had to turn off my phone for an exam. I'm waiting for a call from a potential employer any day now. I felt confident that even with my phone off, when I would turn it back on it would show me any phone number or contact that tried to call me and left a message. But that doesn't seem to be the case.
I was sure I would get a call today. So I tested it out: I turned off my phone and tried calling it. Goes straight to voicemail, left a voicemail. Turn on phone...no notifications of a phone call or voicemail. So, I called my voicemail and said 1 new message, luckily that was the only one and it was my voicemail. But now I don't think I can turn my phone off ever so I don't miss a call.
My super easy cell phone number is a series of repeating numbers, so I am the reluctant recipient of A LOT of b/u/t/t-dialed calls, especially while I sleep. I turned on Blocking Mode on my Samsung Galaxy S5 so that only numbers that are NOT in my contacts are blocked while I sleep. I thought blocking these calls simply meant that my phone wouldn't ring and that notification sounds would be "silenced" since the setting options control notifications. Does it really mean that all of these b/u/t/t-dialed calls are completely blocked and do not show up in my call log?
Luckily, there are stretches of days when no one b/u/t/t-dials me. I haven't had a b/u/t/t-dial since I enabled Blocking mode, but it's been a few days, so I do not know what it is exactly.
I am happy that accidental b/u/t/t-dialers aren't bothering me at night, but since I thought that they'd still show up in my missed call log, I thought I'd still be able to see who called during the blocking mode. I am now concerned about missing an overnight call from someone who needs to reach in case of a family emergency (e.g., hospital, police department, etc.)
When I have a missed call my notification only says "Missed Call / Wireless Caller" instead of displaying the name or phone number of the person who called even when they are in my address book. I cant seem to find a setting for this besides the "Notifications on lock screen- Show content" which I have already enabled. I also have "Show caller information" enabled in the call settings.
iPhone 4 (iOS 7.1) -- Found 4 Face time calls listed as missed, but I never received any audible alert that a call was attempted When I discovered the missed calls, had my husband call me on Face Time and it rang through properly. The 4 missed calls were all from my daughter, who is listed in my contacts; all came in one after the other (not at different times).
I was facing the problem of contacts & call log after updating the 2.1(multitouch update). My call log doesn't record the incoming, outgoing and missed call. Sometimes it records and sometimes it doesn't.
I have got liveview and can read texts, emails and see who is phoning me and my missed calls but I expected to be able to phone people from it via my blue tooth head set. Is this possible or am I asking too much?
I just upgraded to ICS and now my call log screen shows all the incoming text messages I've received as well as the calls. This is the case in both Go Dialer, which I normally use and the native samsumg dialer.
what setting I need to change to make it just show calls again?
has anyone experienced problems with their call log? It is set for 30 days but when I try to access "Missed Calls", "Received Calls" or "Dialled Numbers" nothing happens. Also when I press the green send key, no previously dialled numbers are shown. If I receive a missed call and press "show" I just get the home screen.
