After upgrading to 5.1.1 when I try to make a call it does not connect, there is no sound of dialling. I then can't end the call. The only way to end it is to turn the phone off then on again. When a call is made to the iphone it does not ring and then goes to voicemail. I have done a reset but no difference. All other functions are working and the service provider is connected.

After upgrading my BlackBerry Curve 3G (9300) to OS 6 bundle 2949 there's no chance to disconnect a phone call (to end a call); neither by clicking the red button nor by using the BlackBerry-Menu. I just can disconnect by putting my BB in holster or by clicking on the connect/disconnect-button of my bluetooth-headset. (Of course this works only if I'm using it and if it's connected.). Otherwise I have to wait, until the other one hangs up. But that doesn't work, if I check my voicemail, because it waits for my disconnect.

My current situation:
I am on a family plan with a total of two lines. My line is not eligible until 7/23, so all I can get is "early upgrade pricing". My mom's line is currently eligible for "full upgrade pricing". I am planning on using my mom's upgrade to get an iPhone 4. I want to preorder the phone from Apple.com on the 15th, and hopefully receive it the afternoon of the 24th. From my understanding, the microSIM that ships with the phone will be programmed for the line whose upgrade was used. However, the iPhone Upgrade Guide makes it sound like I can call AT&T once I receive the phone (and before I activate it), and have AT&T switch the microSIM from my mom's line to mine. Is this possible?

When making or receiving a call, the caller or the person I am calling cannot hear me. If I turn on speaker, they can hear me. This is a new iPhone 4, I traded in my 1 year old iPhone 4, because it also was having this issue, & the apple store staff could not fix it.
I have tried turning on/off, plugging in ear buds and unplugging them, cause I heard that could help, & syncing the phone. Nothing has worked yet that I have tried.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI don't know why apple decided that you didn't need access to your call log while on a phone call. When I'm on the phone with someone I like to send emails and texts to others and being able to get to the call log or favorites list is the quick way to get access to the people I talk to the most. As of now I have to go to the contacts list which takes longer and inconvient. Also if someone calls while I'm on the phone if I don't check the caller ID right then to see who is calling I will miss the person and I won't know who called until I get off the phone.

I found instrustions to call to an emergency when if we have screen lock password but what if we have not set the password. We still need to call faster than we unlock screen, go to calls, dial the number and press call buttom. Its quite long process.
