Why does my calendar keep blanking out on my iPhone? Ever since I upgraded to 5.1. It has been doing this. My calendar events disappeared, then they came back the next day and now they are gone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was half way through writing a text message the other night and my screen had what could only be reffered to as a brown screen of death. I force restarted the phone and the Sony logo would start up before it went straight to a black screen. I could tell there was a back light behind it though. Eventually after turning it off and on about four times it started normally and I didn't have any further problems... for 24hrs.

When my alarm went off this morning I had the same screen of death and was only able to turn off my alarm by force restarting my phone. Now when i restart my phone I can usually get it to turn all the way on but then it randomly 'blanks out' after a few seconds. When this happens I can continually press the power button to get me back to my lock screen. Sometimes the screen will stay active long enough for me to unlock the phone, occassionally long enough to even read or write a message, but always, whether it be after 1 second or 20, it eventually blanks out where I can eventually start from the unlock screen after continually pressing the power button.

In a word, it's infuriating. I have already had to deal with two broken screens with this phone (both whilst just sitting in my pocket) that have cost about $350 each to fix and now this. I am definitely never going to buy Sony again however I need this phone to last until the end of my contract.
iTunes loaded an iOS upgrade today. Now, every sync results in an error, cannot sync calendars to iPhone because an error occurred merging data.

I upgraded to iTunes 10.6.1 and ios 5.1.1 on my iPhone 3gs and since then I have not been able to sync calendars with my outlook (2007) on my pc.I sync uing the USB cable and not via wi-fi. The sync appears to go through all steps in the process (5 of 5) but does not apply the changes to the iPhone (or to the PC if we try adding one to the iPhone). I have checked the correct default calendar on the iPhone is set as the pc calendar, and have even tried the advanced sync to overwrite all calendar data from PC to phone. But it stil has the original incorrect data on the phone.What else can I do?If I uninstall iTunes, will I lose all my music bought on the iPhone, or can I get this back again?

I have a torch 9800 and after upgrading my calendars no longer sync. I have one calendar that syncs through google sync and another that syncs through my business account (also a google account through a university). I've checked both calendars on google and they're syncing from my computers to the gmail accounts just fine. They're just not syncing from gmail to the blackberry.
I tried downgrading my blackberry to the lowest version of 6.0, but that didnt fix it. I also tried several soft resets.
after OS upgrade only 2 of my 3 calendar profiles have entries...the 3rd profile exists but there are no entries history or future...since I had backed up prior to system update tried to restore, still no entries....this is my most used profile too so I am lost without it!

It upgraded my phone to Android 2.3.5, but after that I noticed calender application is not working, it says "The application Calendar (process.com.android.calendar) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." and asked to force close. I have tried several times, but failed.

The only option I've got from now are "Shortcuts" (4 between applications and favourites) and "Contacts bar". I have tried with hard and soft resets, and it's equal. View 2 Replies View RelatedI currently have the Blackberry 9700. I would like to see an option added under the calendar feature. With this phone you can have more them one calendar, which is great. You can set your default calendar; however when you go to add a new entry you can select one of the other calendars. The feature I would like to see is having the option to move an entry from one calendar to another. As it stands now, if I enter an appointment on one calendar, but need to switch it to another calendare, I have to make a new entry and select the other calendar. What I would like to see is when you open the entry to make changes (ie: time, date, location, etc.), you have to the option to move the appointment to a different calendar. So maybe in the next software upgrade an application can be written for this calendar feature.

I recently traveled overseas and had all my calendar items show on my iPhone as in the new locations time (ie, they moved X hours so wrong, but consistent). So the Appointments stayed in my home time zone, they just showed in the equivalent time period on the iPhone calendar.Â
When I returned home, my Calendar on my MacBook reverted to normal (ie, all appointments went to the correct, original time) but the iOS Calendar has somehow locked into the other time zone that I visited for a week or so. How can I get all the appointments on my iPhone to show correctly without changing or losing any of them.

I am on a family plan with a total of two lines. My line is not eligible until 7/23, so all I can get is "early upgrade pricing". My mom's line is currently eligible for "full upgrade pricing". I am planning on using my mom's upgrade to get an iPhone 4. I want to preorder the phone from Apple.com on the 15th, and hopefully receive it the afternoon of the 24th. From my understanding, the microSIM that ships with the phone will be programmed for the line whose upgrade was used. However, the iPhone Upgrade Guide makes it sound like I can call AT&T once I receive the phone (and before I activate it), and have AT&T switch the microSIM from my mom's line to mine. Is this possible?

I wanted to share my Home iCloud calendar on my iPhone with my wife so we could both add our respective events and see when the other person is busy. So far, all well. I logged on to the iCloud web site and shared my calendar with my wife.
She then accepted the shared calendar, but then her own Home calendar was replaced with mine, and she can no longer find hers anywhere. It's not on iCloud when she logs on to the web site, and there is no trace of it on her iPhone. And is there a chance we can get her calendar back? There were a lot of events on her calendar.

Recently a couple of my board members purchased IPhones and IPads. And I have set them up the best I can. If they create a calendar entry on the IPhone or IPad it will show up in Outlook right away. However if they or one of their admins log onto their Outlook calendars and remove a schedule meeting the entry will not delete off the IPhone or IPads. I know there is a 15 minute sync on the devices but I have tested them after hours and days and the entries are still on the calendars on the mobile devices. This creates serious issues when people show up to meetings and destinations that have been cancled days in advanced.

If an outside user sends me a calendar invite from their Iphone (my wife), it only adds event to my iphone, won't sync back to my exchange server, and ultimately my PC.
There are two different calendars in my phone, and would make life much easier if all events would sync within one calendar, and ultimately back to my exchange server.
