View 9 Replies View RelatedBut is there anyway that I can block or restrict certain numbers from my phone? That is, to have the phone send that particular number/call straight to voicemail with the call just showing in my call log. I would like to if this can be done from the phone without additional software. Or can someone recommend a program that can accomplish this. (Ideally, a free software!)

View 1 Replies View RelatedThere's a WiFi network that I often connect to, which has a login page (i.e. I have to enter my username and password on this page, rather than storing it in my phone). As a result it's hard to use because every time I lock my iPhone, I get logged out (due to the lack of persistent WiFi), and then when I unlock it, I have to go back to the login page and re-enter my username and password. I have to do this many times per day.
Is there a way to either force my connection to be persistent (so it doesn't disconnect every time the screen locks) or allow it to auto-enter my username and password on the login screen, so it reconnects automatically? I assume that it would be easier to force the WiFi to be persistent since the login page is custom.

after formatting the memory card and installed the last firmware, I can't find anymore the software that block sms and calls, Owners of nokia e52 who was integrated in original firmware or memory card. I found other applications on the web like: "best blacklist" but I don't like it.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9700. Most call screening apps will block all numbers, allow contact list only, etc .. I need to block all calls but only allow 4 select numbers from my contact list. (I work night shift and I only want to accept calls from my kids, husband, and school).
"iberry blacklist/whitelist" is apparently supposed to do this but I installed the trial, not working properly and then I realized it doesn't support my bb.
Is it possible to setup a Torch 9800 to block a call number? I don't want to use my provider to do this.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for a Call Blocker App that can block all calls except from contacts I put in a Whitelist and that blocks
the call before the call connects/rings from the caller side.
There are many Call Blocker Apps on the Play Store that can block all calls except from contacts in a Whitelist, but all the ones I've tried so far connect/ring before the call is disconnected, so the caller can here the phone ring/connect before the App rejects/disconnects it, therefore the caller can workout that the call has been blocked/rejected.
I'm from the UK and have a stock/un-rooted Samsung Galaxy S6 running Android 5.0.2, so I'm looking for an App that doesn't require my phone to be rooted.
I am used to roms that have a blacklist or call block option on the phone app. Is there an option to add this to the phone app without a custom rom?
I dont need calls about car warranties and who I am going to vote for.
So I'm running a 100% stock tmobile htc one, I get the system ui has stopped message every couple hours and every time I adjust my media volume. Even more annoying is the fact that my notification bar is completely missing, applications and wallpapers are even stretching to fit the whole screen as if the notification bar never existed. My device is completely unmodified, I've tried factory resets multiple times and found no success, and not surprisingly neither tmobile nor htc cs were any support whatsoever.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy blackberry 9360 is giving me some problems, when I turn it on, it comes on with the blackberry loading screen, and it loads a 1/4 of the way then it turns off and a red light shows and it starts again. I've left it doing this on charge and it won't stop, I've let it run its self out of battery and it still does this when I try again.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Z3 Dual, from USA, and since the update to 5.1.1 was not available for it on that particular region (and I live in Argentina) I installed the 5.1.1 update from Brazil, which works great, BUT, I have a persistent cell info notification on the status bar and lockscreen and don't know which app is producing it or how to disable it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an E6. I have configured a GMail and Yahoo email accounts but have configured it to retrieve only at 8am. So data will be used only during that time or whenever a known internet accessing application is running. This was for around 3 months. As soon as I exit say Opera, the data connection would be closed. But for the past 2 weeks, the data connection refuses to terminate. Even when I manually terminate by going into Connections, it gets reconnected automatically. This behaviour appears suspiciously like a virus / spyware running hidden because task manager shows no running application other than F-Secure which is disabled except for theft protection. How to find out if there is any hidden process accessing the internet? How to know which applications run at startup?
View 14 Replies View RelatedOctober 2011 - Returned my 18 month old Storm to Carphone Warehouse (UK) as screen was sticking in corners - they replaced for a new (or refurbished?) storm 2.New phone worked fine for around 4 weeks, then began randomly powering off (when using different apps/making call/texting etc - in other words no apparent common cause) When rebooted the battery charge was significantly lower (as much as 98% down to 10%.)Returned phone again, was given another replacement (or refurb?) with exactly the same problem happening again! Driving me mad! Each time I have restored my data using BB Desktop software - I'm thinking it must be one of my installed apps causing the crashes? I know I could return this latest device but each time equates to around 2-3weeks without Smartphone so am very keen to explore other possibilities before giving up.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI tried Lollipop for a loooong time and now I'm sick and tired. I downgraded to 4.4.4 but I have a persistent notification in the status bar saying that the new system update to android 5.0.1 is available. But I don't want it!
Is there a way to disable that notification? It is very anoying. I tried to download FOTAkill.apk and put it in system/apps with rw--r-r- permissions but doesn't work. I know that the simplest solution is to install a custom rom but I am very happy with stock rooted + xposed + modules.
I'm on stock device and I thought my device in multitasking view had a Google search at the top right? It seems to have gone away. Am I correct it's usually there right? Screencap shown..
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a S2 on UK Vodafone contract even though I am currently living in NZ. My phone is a UK model.UK Vodafone have terminated the Passport service as of 1st November which means I now go on to NZ roaming which at 1.65/NZ$3.30 a minute is somewhat steep - I also pay that amount for the incoming call.I now need to block all incoming calls on my phone so as I am not tempted to answer calls at odd times of the day or night (quite hard when we are 13 hours ahead of UK and totally out of sync with them) and pay extortionate amounts of money BUT I need to leave the phone available to make and receive text messages. It is not as easy as to just get a NZ phone contract as this was my life line with friends and family in UK until my provider pulled the passport service so need to disable the phone I have.how to do this so as I can still send/receive text but NOT receive voice calls on my S2?
