HTC One M7 :: Persistent System UI Has Stopped Messages
Oct 18, 2013
So I'm running a 100% stock tmobile htc one, I get the system ui has stopped message every couple hours and every time I adjust my media volume. Even more annoying is the fact that my notification bar is completely missing, applications and wallpapers are even stretching to fit the whole screen as if the notification bar never existed. My device is completely unmodified, I've tried factory resets multiple times and found no success, and not surprisingly neither tmobile nor htc cs were any support whatsoever.
I tried Lollipop for a loooong time and now I'm sick and tired. I downgraded to 4.4.4 but I have a persistent notification in the status bar saying that the new system update to android 5.0.1 is available. But I don't want it!
Is there a way to disable that notification? It is very anoying. I tried to download FOTAkill.apk and put it in system/apps with rw--r-r- permissions but doesn't work. I know that the simplest solution is to install a custom rom but I am very happy with stock rooted + xposed + modules.
After updated my htc one m9 today, i stuck on white screen with message: system ui has stopped. the phone does`nt respond to anything. What should I do?
My voicemail system has stopped functioning. I literally watched my voicemails vanish one by one in front of my eyes. I can't record a greeting and can't receive messages. I have a suspicion that is happened after I downloaded the latest operation system.
I was deleting some apps from app manager and I accidentally had to delete something important because from that moment my Maps aren't working. I got System error second after loading starts. I upgrades my soft - didn't work. I deleted the maps and install it again - didn't work. I soft resetted my phone - didn't work. I formatted memory card - didn't work, I always get this System Error.
My E63 has broken, when I try to access messages or my call log I get a system error, I have reset my phone but the problem is still there any ideas what to do?
I updated my Xperia Ray a few hours ago, it's telling me I have two new text messages, but when I go into the message folder there is nothing new. It's like the message thread from that person has disappeared. Any one know how to fix this/uninstal the upgrade?
My blackberry 9360 is giving me some problems, when I turn it on, it comes on with the blackberry loading screen, and it loads a 1/4 of the way then it turns off and a red light shows and it starts again. I've left it doing this on charge and it won't stop, I've let it run its self out of battery and it still does this when I try again.
I have a Z3 Dual, from USA, and since the update to 5.1.1 was not available for it on that particular region (and I live in Argentina) I installed the 5.1.1 update from Brazil, which works great, BUT, I have a persistent cell info notification on the status bar and lockscreen and don't know which app is producing it or how to disable it.
I was using my iPhone 4 w/iOS 5.1 and clicked something or pressed something that made a screen showup that had all my open apps and system messages appear. It also showed weather, a ticker tape for stocks at the bottom with a small Yahoo symbol in the bottom right hand corner.I cannot make this screen re-appear!
I got an emergency alert message this morning (2:30 AM Pacific time) which totaly sucks.Subject was: Channel: Monthly Test Alert Message From reading other forums , I know this must be a bug with the OS. I have been getting these same test message on and off over the past few weeks.Blackberry needs to issue a fix. I have to keep my phone on because I use my phone as a pager.I know RIMM is almost bankrupt but come on guys, you gotta get this fixed.
I have an E6. I have configured a GMail and Yahoo email accounts but have configured it to retrieve only at 8am. So data will be used only during that time or whenever a known internet accessing application is running. This was for around 3 months. As soon as I exit say Opera, the data connection would be closed. But for the past 2 weeks, the data connection refuses to terminate. Even when I manually terminate by going into Connections, it gets reconnected automatically. This behaviour appears suspiciously like a virus / spyware running hidden because task manager shows no running application other than F-Secure which is disabled except for theft protection. How to find out if there is any hidden process accessing the internet? How to know which applications run at startup?
October 2011 - Returned my 18 month old Storm to Carphone Warehouse (UK) as screen was sticking in corners - they replaced for a new (or refurbished?) storm 2.New phone worked fine for around 4 weeks, then began randomly powering off (when using different apps/making call/texting etc - in other words no apparent common cause) When rebooted the battery charge was significantly lower (as much as 98% down to 10%.)Returned phone again, was given another replacement (or refurb?) with exactly the same problem happening again! Driving me mad! Each time I have restored my data using BB Desktop software - I'm thinking it must be one of my installed apps causing the crashes? I know I could return this latest device but each time equates to around 2-3weeks without Smartphone so am very keen to explore other possibilities before giving up.
Is there any means of removing the lockscreen notifications (lux, 1weather, google now)? I'm assuming there has to be some form of xposed module that can do this?
I upgraded my N8 to Anna. Could not do the 1/2, everything else worked fine. Finally got the 1/2 to work, ever since had nothing but problems. Whenever I start the phone I get 3 or 4 system error messages. After hitting ok, I can access most of my phone. I cannot access my contacts from the home screen. I can only go into the call screen, which does not allow me to add a new contact or edit. I have tried both the hard and soft reboots and tried to re-install but it has only gotten worse. I kinda need to access my contacts for work.
Recently perfomed a system restore on my iphone 4s. Device backup date is March 17,2012 but for some reason the phone only shows messages from Oct 2011.
I'm on stock device and I thought my device in multitasking view had a Google search at the top right? It seems to have gone away. Am I correct it's usually there right? Screencap shown..
There's a WiFi network that I often connect to, which has a login page (i.e. I have to enter my username and password on this page, rather than storing it in my phone). As a result it's hard to use because every time I lock my iPhone, I get logged out (due to the lack of persistent WiFi), and then when I unlock it, I have to go back to the login page and re-enter my username and password. I have to do this many times per day.
Is there a way to either force my connection to be persistent (so it doesn't disconnect every time the screen locks) or allow it to auto-enter my username and password on the login screen, so it reconnects automatically? I assume that it would be easier to force the WiFi to be persistent since the login page is custom.
3 email accounts - all from different providers (Work, Home and Hotmail) BB is not receiving new emails and I can not send e-mails from any of the accounts When I go to setup - EMail accounts (3) - I get "Checking for updates" (3G full bars servcie also tried when the bb is picking up my home router) After "Checking for updates" the bb message is "connecting to email settings" then "Your device had a problem connecting to the server."
within a month i got this problem 2 times.1st time i factory reseted my phone but this time i dont wanna do it...b'coz i have many important messages...i have read many forums regarding "Messages has stopped unexpectedly "...most of them suggested to uninstall antivirus or task killer and restart phone...but none of these had worked...
My email messages stopped coming through the BB last night (bold 9700). I've sent out test messages and they go out, but nothing comes in.Could it be connected to the fact that my local server went down (but I received messages for quite a while when it was down, and now it's back up, but I'm still not receiving)
I was having no trouble receiving messages and e-mail updates from my PC, but yesterday they stopped for no reasonable there be something wrong with my curve as I never had any problems before.
My BBM has stopped sending or recieving messages.Whenever I try to send a message, it makes the sending symbol that looks like ))) but then a big red cross like this X comes up. I've tried re-booting about 10 times, and also updating my version of BBM to the newest possible version, but nothing has worked. It's not a connection issue, because my internet, 3G, Facebook, Twitter, Texts and Emails are all working. I've tried connecting my phone to my wifi instead of the 3G I pay for, but with still no luck. Also, my data usage is fully topped up and nothing wrong with my service provider O2.
