Galaxy S6 :: Call Blocker App - Block All Calls Except From Contacts Put In A Whitelist

I'm looking for a Call Blocker App that can block all calls except from contacts I put in a Whitelist and that blocks
the call before the call connects/rings from the caller side.
There are many Call Blocker Apps on the Play Store that can block all calls except from contacts in a Whitelist, but all the ones I've tried so far connect/ring before the call is disconnected, so the caller can here the phone ring/connect before the App rejects/disconnects it, therefore the caller can workout that the call has been blocked/rejected.
I'm from the UK and have a stock/un-rooted Samsung Galaxy S6 running Android 5.0.2, so I'm looking for an App that doesn't require my phone to be rooted.

I have Call blocker pro 4.0 on my phone,And there is no option for it to be deleted, even when I have it connected to my laptop.

But is there anyway that I can block or restrict certain numbers from my phone? That is, to have the phone send that particular number/call straight to voicemail with the call just showing in my call log. I would like to if this can be done from the phone without additional software. Or can someone recommend a program that can accomplish this. (Ideally, a free software!)

I have a S2 on UK Vodafone contract even though I am currently living in NZ. My phone is a UK model.UK Vodafone have terminated the Passport service as of 1st November which means I now go on to NZ roaming which at �1.65/NZ$3.30 a minute is somewhat steep - I also pay that amount for the incoming call.I now need to block all incoming calls on my phone so as I am not tempted to answer calls at odd times of the day or night (quite hard when we are 13 hours ahead of UK and totally out of sync with them) and pay extortionate amounts of money BUT I need to leave the phone available to make and receive text messages.It is not as easy as to just get a NZ phone contract as this was my life line with friends and family in UK until my provider pulled the passport service so need to disable the phone I have.how to do this so as I can still send/receive text but NOT receive voice calls on my S2?

I've been getting spam texts for a few months now. About one a week and the message is always the same, except that the number they're coming from changes every time, as well as the number in the message to call (something about they buy used and junk cars) changes every time too. Why isn't there some simple switch in text message settings to reject or not display text messages if the message didn't come from someone in your contact list on your phone?
Also, why isn't Apple allowing an app to do the same? I have unlimited text messaging on AT&T so these unwanted texts don't cost me anything, but I hate spam and It's so annoying! Android has apps to do this, whitelists your contacts and rejects texts and calls from people not in your contacts on your phone and I was thinking of switching but this kind of thing makes me want to switch even more. Such a simple thing and yet it's no available on an iPhone.

I'm not sure why, but some missed calls are not going to the call log. I dismissed the missed calls from the notification, and then went to check it in in the call log and it wasn't there.
Are there any settings I need to change to see all missed calls?

I am using my Samsung Galaxy S5 (Verizon) for my work and I recently noticed a flaw in the phone. Here is the scenario:
1) Dial a phone number and begin your call # 1.
2) While keeping the call # 1 active, ask someone to give you a call.
3) Accept the incoming call # 2, and speak for a few seconds.
4) Disconnect or 'End' the call # 2.
5) This will also end the call # 1 and you have lost both calls.
Here is another scenario:
1) Dial a phone number and begin your call # 1.
2) While keeping the call # 1 active, ask someone to give you a call.
3) Accept the incoming call # 2, and speak for a few seconds.
4) SWAP the calls from #2 to #1
5) End the call #1.
6) This will also end the call # 2 and you have lost both calls.
BOTTOM LINE: Disconnecting any one call during call waiting will automatically disconnect the other call as well.

I have a Galaxy S5 and recently installed the lollipop update. Not sure if that is what is causing this issue or not since I can't be sure if it didn't begin immediately, but I now have a situation that when I am on a call and another call comes in (call waiting), both calls drop without me touching a button or accepting the incoming call.

For some reason, when I want to use the search function to make calls, the contact's phone number will not show up. For example, I will type "Colin" and the only thing that comes up in the search is his email address. Otherwise, I have to manually scroll through to find his phone number to make the call. Why the search is not bringing up the phone numbers, but instead other links.

I have uninstalled the "SMS + Call Filter" app (had to do this through Storage settings - what's up with that?), and reinstalled the SMS + Call Filter app using the SysAppPusher app. It still fails when I try to use it: "Something went wrong"
If I long-press a number in Call History, it allows me to process that number. However, the number really isn't blocked - it continues to ring.
From reading Windows Central forum posts, as well as other fora, this appears to be a prevalent problem with the 950 and Windows Mobile.

I have an unlocked US variant S6 SM-G920T with Baseband (G920TUEU3COK1). I have been using it on Tmobile without issues since Cyber Monday.
But now, randomly, when I get a phone call from a contact that is already in the phone, I see the number on the display rather than the contact name. After I either answer or reject or allow to go to voicemail, and then go look at the call log, the contact name is displayed. This is getting annoying as I keep ignoring calls that I would like to take ( and sometimes need to take).
Only thing I've tried is to clear data and clear cache in the contacts app. Phone is not rooted...
