My previous Android phones had an option in the call settings. My issue is that I keep receiving calls from Unknown, but there is no phone number so I can't just save it and block it. Previous Android phones had this option built in.
After searching forums and finding nothing except how to avoid or block unknown callers, I can't find an answer to my problem. I get calls from unknown callers and need to answer them, but my phone wont let me hear the caller. Help , I called tech service went to the Sprint store and no one can help. Any Ideas? So, some French person has been calling me. I just got this number. I have no clue who it is. How can I block his number without asking my provider ? Are there some free apps ?
I have a S2 on UK Vodafone contract even though I am currently living in NZ. My phone is a UK model.UK Vodafone have terminated the Passport service as of 1st November which means I now go on to NZ roaming which at 1.65/NZ$3.30 a minute is somewhat steep - I also pay that amount for the incoming call.I now need to block all incoming calls on my phone so as I am not tempted to answer calls at odd times of the day or night (quite hard when we are 13 hours ahead of UK and totally out of sync with them) and pay extortionate amounts of money BUT I need to leave the phone available to make and receive text messages. It is not as easy as to just get a NZ phone contract as this was my life line with friends and family in UK until my provider pulled the passport service so need to disable the phone I have.how to do this so as I can still send/receive text but NOT receive voice calls on my S2?
I have uninstalled the "SMS + Call Filter" app (had to do this through Storage settings - what's up with that?), and reinstalled the SMS + Call Filter app using the SysAppPusher app. It still fails when I try to use it: "Something went wrong"
If I long-press a number in Call History, it allows me to process that number. However, the number really isn't blocked - it continues to ring.
From reading Windows Central forum posts, as well as other fora, this appears to be a prevalent problem with the 950 and Windows Mobile.
In spite of registering with "do not call" I still get calls I would like to block.Ideally I would like to just mark a recent call number as "Block" for when the same caller tries again. What's the best way to get this done on my iPhone 4?
Does anyone know of an application that will block sms and calls from specified numbers for my Nokia E 5? I have tried Blacklist Lite and Blockme. Neither worked and I have been unable to get a reply from careme.in, the people who make Blockme.
But is there anyway that I can block or restrict certain numbers from my phone? That is, to have the phone send that particular number/call straight to voicemail with the call just showing in my call log. I would like to if this can be done from the phone without additional software. Or can someone recommend a program that can accomplish this. (Ideally, a free software!)
I know there is an option to block calls and sms from everyone who isn't in my contacts, but is there a way to just block certain numbers instead of everyone?
I dont know how to block outgoing calls especially ISD calls in my N5 (updated to 4.4.4) all information in the net tells only to block incoming calls. Unfortunately due to oversight i dialled ISD number and it went on for 1 min charging me heavily.
