All the applications installed on the iphone are not working, when clicking them, they give me a black screen for less than a second and then nth happens
I rebooted the phone, restarted it, reset all the setting but nth worked out.

I have an iPhone5 (16GB - 5 GB free space available) and iOS 7.1.1. A couple of days back my apps stopped connecting to Internet. Both 3G network and WiFi connections work as google app and chrome browser connect to internet. Everything else doesn't including safari, mail, whatsapp. Notifications for almost every app work.Â
I tried the following:
1. I Restarted almost everything: router, iphone, iphone with both Home and Power switches held together.
2. I tried upgrading to 7.1.2 but I kept getting s/w is unavailable at this time error. I tried removing the downloaded software. Now I get unable to check for update (not connected to internet) error.
3. I connected to PC and upgraded iTunes to latest version, but can't figure out how to make anything, that's not working, work
4. Also, I tried removing apps that I sparingly use.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a 3GS on 3.0.1 that I just used Pwnage Tool to JB/upgrade to 4.0 and then unlock using ultrasn0w.. everything went perfectly..BUT... some Cydia apps don't seem to work - looked around and didn't see a thread, so I started one. Hope this information isn't redundant.
Statusnotifier: One of my favorite Cydia apps, doesn't work with IOS4. It keeps crashing the springboard and I had to uninstall it. Apparently there is a workaround but that has its own quirks, so I will wait to see if an update is forthcoming.
SBSettings: Works but has some quirks as clearly stated on the SBSettings page on Cydia. I didn't bother with loading it yet although it is by far the most useful Cydia app in my opinion.
Any others? It would be great to keep a running list of apps that don't work with IOS4, or that have been subsequently patched to get working again.

I am new user of Blackberry, but I am fond of the system and I want to continue to use it.Unfortunately, I have a problem. I donīt have BIS/BBS but my phone has a Wi-Fi! Every time I connect on my Wi-Fi there is only browser in the phone which is working. None of my applications (App world, Googlemaps, LogicMail, Twitter, Facebook, RSS etc.) work. The only solution seems to be to restart my phone completely. Then everything is fine except Gmaps and RSS (- there is still an announcement: please ensure that your device is connected to the wireless network and try again). I donīt understand it. If I turn on Wi-Fi, it everything should work normally.I am also an iOS user and on Apple devices wi-fi works just great with every application, no need to restart the device.

I have some apps which refuse to believe there is an internet connection - they have worked in the past on 4G, but they don't any more, even on full bars. If I use a browser though, I can confirm internet connection. Examples are CommBank, St George Banking, Parkmobile. Facebook is inconsistent - often not loading photos.
I'm new to Android - on Apple you could select which apps do or don't have mobile access. On Android I think the closest thing is to Restrict Background Data which is not applicable here because the app is in the foreground (it's not restricted in any case)
The flash works fine with the camera but doesn't work with any other app using the flash like flashlight or heart rate monitor. I tried downloading different apps or deleting the app and reinstalling rebooting the phone each time but the problem persists. Any suggestions? I upgraded to 5.1.1. The same

It takes like 2 minutes to authenticate my sign in info and it says it can't do it and has to close app world because an error occured. AND I can't update app world or even connect my blackberry to my computer because I can't download/install the desktop manager.

However, those stock small apps like Active Clip work well. Also, I tried some third-party small apps. They won't show up through the small app manager unless they can be run once through the launcher first. My Z2 is on the latest 1.232 fw.

It wont work even when I change default SMS app to 8sms, handscent SMS, etc...Incoming SMS still appears in default SMS app and is not hidden.
