My iPhone 4s drops network services and keeps searching for about 2 hours and then starts working again. I reset all the settings etc and makes no difference to it and still won't work. Checked the sim and network and there are no issues with it.

My iphone 4s keeps on searching for network. Initially i thought there might be a problem with the SIM i use. I tried using my sim in other iphone and it worked.

My iPhone doesn't connect to my network anymore. I flew from Europe to the US a few days ago and it worked just fine in the beginning, but when I went on the subway and lost reception it didn't come back. A quick restart of the phone worked the first time. Now it happened again yesterday when I went on the subway and the reception hasn't come back since....
The Phone never asks me for the PIN if I restart the phone, even though it should and all it says is "Searching....", even if I remove the SIM it says "Searching..." instead of "No SIM".
I can still use Wifi though!Here is what I've already tried:Restarted the phone several times (both regular and the two-button way)Reset all settings

I bought my ip4s (brand new) on the 19th of January. And it was working fine up until last week when it stopped detecting wifi networks When I turn on wifi the "finding networks" circle keeps on searching with no success even though I used to connect to same router before. I tried everything: resetting network connections, rebooting phone. I even downloaded the latest iOS software just now. The problem seems to persist and to add to that the battery is being drained quickly even though I already turned off wifi (so it ain't still trying to connect).

View 2 Replies View RelatedAs soon as Iphone had water contact, turned off immediately and backed on after 3-4 hours. Turned on in the evening on the same day. Everything works like camera, sound, wifi, imessage etc., except does not connect to ATT network. Took it to att store and tried changing the sim. No use. Took to apple store, explained had water damage, so they tried to restore. The whole installation takes place. Then the initial set up screen starts showing to choose country, language, connect to wifi. After that it tries to activate phone then displays message saying that phone is damaged and cannot be activated. I just want the phone to be same as when I took to the store so that at least I can use it as ipod.
The software seems like it is not allowing me to use the other features of the phone and only does if I am able to connect to the network. I had been to att store as well and told that I am not changing my plan or breaking the contract but we buy a new phone and continue with att. Since as a owner of the iphone I should be able use the other features though it is not able to connect to cell phone provider network. How to bypass the activation step and takes me beyond that point so that at least I can use it as ipod. Looks like apple software is restricting the use of the other features of the iphone if not used for making calls.

My iPhone 5S is about five months old and the network constantly disappears into "Searching...". I've done everything from restarting my device, to a hard reset, to a network settings reset, and even replaced my SIM card but I'm still plagued with the problem. It's not got to do with the network, because that seems to be working fine for everyone else in the country.

I factory resetted the phone and it is still doing it. I tried to update it using the Desktop Software but it would not even connect, it would just charge it. I also put the google experience launcher on there from phandroids video. I unplugged my phone last night and when i went to bed i had 80% 8 hours later i woke up and had 9%. Gsam battery monitor said Google play services?
I took off the launcher but now i am stuck with the google now up date and the play store update. I also started using google hangouts. I tried uninstalling the play store update but then google hangouts won't work. What could have caused this? The phone is plugged in charging now so i have been through a days use since this happened but i am just a little worried because that is one of the main things that i was worried about before i got the phone was battery life!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased a Z3 Dual sim D6633 and around twice a day either when receiving or making a call the phone suddenly drops out during conversation and both network strength bars are showing no signal. a message briefly shows up saying no no network signal ( or something to that effect ) then dissappears. A few seconds later the signal comes back for both sims and all is ok again. Why this is happening but its becoming frustrating especially when I have to call clients back.

If Wifi drops or I turn it off, the remaining icons go white, and then if you go to settings, about phone, status, the phone states UMTS and then switches to HSPA, and it states on network "Connecting, or Disconnected" A power Cycle will sometimes help. If I turn wifi back on, I have a Blue wifi, white H+, and a Blue Network Signal strength.

Is there a known issues with the 950XL (or Win 10 in general) regarding wifi stability. My 950XL refuses to stay connected to the 5.0GHz wifi network. After reboot it will find and connect to the network fine, but after about 10 to 15 minutes the connection drops. When I go to the available wifi list, all the 5.0 GHz networks are missing and only the 2.4 GHz ones are offered. The only way I have found to get the phone to find the 5.0 GHz ones was forcing a reboot.
View 19 Replies View RelatedI'm having a strange problem with my new Xperia Z3 Dual ever since I updated it to Lollipop. I’m using two SIM cards from two different operators. But every morning I notice that there is no signal available for SIM2. Signal comes back to normal on SIM2, if a call received or if I made an outgoing call from SIM1. Otherwise I have to switch on to Airplane Mode and switch it off every time to get the signal back. Because of this issue the battery drains so fast during night (due to loss of signal for 6-7hrs). And also I notice sudden call drops during conversations within 5-10 minutes after receiving or making a call.

I checked the same SIM using another phone to get verified whether this issue is related with the operator. But there I didn’t notice this strange behaviour. Hopefully this is something related with my Xperia Z3 Dual. I’m using WCDMA(Preferred)/GSM on SIM1 and GSM Only on SIM2.
How will I get to know that my phone is currently using wifi network or my mobile network while using data services? Can i install whatsapp without either purchasing it or jailbreaking my iphone?
