II'm getting so impatient with my iphone 5, it started turning off randomly, then it started coming up with a damaged screen like a virus so I reset and erased the whole phone and it wouldn't turn back on, it's been off for 2 days now and the only thing it does is flash the apple symbol on the charger.
Do I get another phone or what? I've tried the hard reset as well.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an iphone 4s running on 5.1 iOs and this morning I've changed my passcode and save it when suddenly I've tried to unlock my phone using my new password but it keep saying wrong passcode and I am sure 100% that I've entered the correct passcode and I've tried also to enter my old passcode but still the same. Now my iphone is disabled and it say that I must connect it to itunes...to do a restore or a recovery. But my problem is that I am afraid that when I do a restore all my apps and contacts will be wiped and I don't want that,(I have a backup on my itunes ). I've read many tutorials about that saying to put the iphone in DFU mode and recover it then syncing back the apps.....But im afraid that when i recover my iphone my apps on iTunes will be wiped too?

I tried the rm -r var/root/Mobile command through terminal, like others have suggested. However, when I plug my phone into my computer, iTunes still keeps repeating the same message. Is there any way to fix this problem without doing a restore? At this point it would be a huge hassle.

My iPhone 5 is suddenly stuck in recovery mode. It won't turn on, the connect to iTunes logo just shows up. I really don't want to restore it because I have 300+ pictures from vacation that have not yet been synced to my photo stream. I guess my question is is there anyway that I can kick my phone out of recovery mode long enough to get those photos in my stream without restoring it?
