Is it is possible to use my old Alltel LG AX265 (Banter) phone on the Verizon network by doing some software hocus pocus. I'm not very cell phone savvy, but I can follow simple directions as well as any 11 year-old.The Justin Timberlake look-alike at the Verizon store said I'd need to get a new phone from Verizon, and proceeded to push the Motorola Droid into my face. I'm sure it's a great phone, but I just want my almost-teenager to be reachable. I'm pretty sure he's gonna lose the phone within the year, so I'm not inclined to spend much money.

Im using nokia 5530 and usually it goes slow and some of its apps stop working like music player hangs but remain playing. it slows down while sending or receiving messages even when messages are in outbox. Its RAM remains 80mb full even when no application running only 40-45mb is available. Sometimes its headphones' player buttons stop working and start working after restart.

For the past couple of days, I've been unable to use my BB's Browser or GPS functions. Whenever I try to connect to the BB Browser, I get a timeout error. None of my bookmarks are able to connect either. I've tried switching between the different settings in browser configuration settings (BIS, hotspot, wifi, IE, Firefox, etc) to no avail. I also have a wifi set up at home and even though it was working flawlessly a couple of days ago, it will no longer connect to any wifi. In addition, the GPS function is not working on any of the apps that use GPS (Both BB and Google maps, weatherbug, poynt).
Here's the kicker: Everything else is working great. I'm getting all of my emails from all of the emails I have configured with the device (my work email through the BES, forwarded from a comcast address, and from my *@vzw.blackberry.net address) and all of my apps seem to be working fine. I've got facebook, ubertwitter, ebay, weatherbug, poynt, and a couple of others and they're all able to update wirelessly.
I've tried going through a new enterprise activation, I've updated everything through the desktop manager, and I've re-registered the device on the network. I'm iffy on whether I've actually pushed all of the service books to the device again because I can't login here: https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw. Whenever I try to, it tells me I have use my device's BIS. Well, that's my problem. I can't use my device's BIS. Also, I have one WiFi host routing table and about a hundred Verizon host routing tables. I'm not sure which ones I should delete, as I've read, in order to get it download a new one.
The only thing I've really noted that appears to be a problem is that when I go to Options -> Status, the device's IP Address is 0.0.0.0. I'm not sure if that is supposed to be like that or not. I know from regular internet usage on a desktop, if you don't have an ip address on the network, you can't get on the internet. Does that ring true for the BB as well?

I can hear the person speaking over facetime, but they cannot hear me. I was able to use my headphones mic to talk over facetime, but I'd hate to have to use that everytime.
**Also, I just did the voice memo and the mic worked fine. Is there a setting I have messed up? This is weird.

I have been using my iphone 4s for couple of months and it has worked fine both with wi-fi and 3G utill three days ago when the 3G suddenly stopped working. The status bar still shows the 3G icon when cellular data is turned on, but it doesnt respond to any data app or browser.
I have tried resetting the Network settings and restarting the phone and it still wouldn't work. I know my carrier is fine because for other people the 3G works well.

my iPhone 4s is about a year and a half old, working mostly great until last week. I may have accidentally dropped it, and now the mic doesn't work. Whenever I call someone, I can hear them but they cannot hear me UNLESS I put them on speaker phone. Once I do that, they can hear me perfectly. Siri also cannot hear me; when I hold the home button to talk to her and that white line appears at the bottom, I'll talk but it doesn't wiggle to show that she's hearing me. The keyboard microphone is the same way, and when I try to record a voice memo it doesn't 'hear' me either. So, as far as I can tell the only way I can be heard is via speaker phone, and Siri is useless now :/ I've tried cleaning the mics on the bottom with a can of pressurized air, to no avail, and I've looked up similar problems on these threads but I've never found one with all of these issues at once, it's either the phone calls don't work but siri and the voice memos are fine, or else siri won't work but everything else is fine.

Second off it was stuck in head phone mode because of what she did I guess. Looked through troubleshooting to see what I could do and nothing I did worked. My friend who is familiar and works for a company that runs on Macs and he is their IT guy, who also has an iPhone, came over took it apart and got it work - even though he lost one little screw. Anyways, everything is working except I can't hear people or anything out the ear speaker. He even took it apart again and tried blow drying the ear speaker to dry water but to no prevail. What can I do? Also, I got the phone about 6 to 10 months ago. Will I be able to take it to the Apple Store and not have to pay anything for it to be fixed or swapped?

View 8 Replies View RelatedFor the last 3 days 3G on my new iPhone 4 hasn't been working, until 10 minutes ago, I finally managed to get it working by changing the APN settings in cellular data network, from = idata.o2.co.uk, to = mobile.o2.co.uk, what it used to be, but doing this didn't only fix my 3G service it has also activated Internet tethering (which I don't pay for).

The speaker on the iphone 4 just stopped it working was listening to music through the speaker then all of a sudden it just stopped playing i can listen to it with headphones but not the speaker. I also can't hear the ringer also and only feel it vibrate.. what is the problem exactly?
