why my screen would stay on longer than a minute when the phone isn't being used? Sometimes I've noticed this when it's attached to a music dock or via USB to my laptop, but lately it seems to stay on even when it's sitting on my desk unconnected to anything. Easy enough to shut off the screen by pushing the button on top, but I'm using up battery power I don't want to, and it seems like the phone should go to sleep sooner than it is.
I have a iPhone 4 and it froze and when rebooted it stays at the Apple logo screen. I have tried to put the iPhone in DFU and all I can get it to do is go into recovery mode (Shows a picture of iTunes with USB etc..) When I press the Sleep and Home button, the iPhone just goes of for a second and then powers back up and again, stays at the Apple logo. I have some pictures on my iPhone that I MUST get off before I allow it to be recovered.
my iphone 5s died to the point where it turned off so i went to charge it and the only thing it did was show the sign to connect your charger. i thought my charger was broken so i went and bought a new one and when i went to plug the new one in my phone doesnt do anything and the screen stays completely black.
I recently noticed that the screen of my HTC One stays on after I miss a call. It eventually locks again on its own, but only after 2 minutes (i.e., the time I set for it to sleep on its own). The normal behavior I expect is for the phone to lock immediately after the phone stops ringing, as there could be various accidents if the screen is on while in my pocket.
My wife's nexus 5 is set to go to sleep after 30s of not using it. But that's not the case. ATM I'm waiting for more than 2 mins, and it's still on. Besides that, we have noticed that, sometimes, screen turns on without any reason. No notifications, or anything. We just find it on. And staying on...
After I get a notification my screen stays lit unless I hit the button on the side. I read online that sometimes it's because smart screen is turned on but I've already uncheck that and it's hasnt fixed the problem.
I just got brand new phone from ATT, while charging I noticed the screen stayed on.Am I missing something or is this a Android Bug? Usually Developer option is hidden in a new phone. But on my phone the developer option was on and screen set to stay on while charging So when charged overnight my screen stayed on for several hours. Is this a bug or my phone was not 100% new?? I Have A Rooted VS985 And A Couple Of Days Ago, I Turned It Off, Forgot Why, Then Back On And It Wouldn't Go Past The Verizon Logo. I Tried Factory Reseting It, Booting Into Safe Mode, And Trying To Go Into USB Debugging Mode But It Always Goes Through The Verizon Logo And Just Stays There. The Logo Isnt Frozen, I Still See The Shimmer Animation On The Check And The LED Still Rotates Colors From Green To Blue And Off.
Ever since I have updated my X10 to 2.1 my screen goes blank after a call.i can speak on the phone but when the call finishes my screen gies blank and i have to take out my battery to turn it of.
I have a question about my Atrix. The other day I noticed the blue notifications LED was staying on solid when the screen is off. When I turn the screen on it goes off. The only way I've been able to get it to go off is to do a battery pull. Once I do that, it will go for 1-2 days and then the LED starts coming on again.
N96 was working fine until two weeks ago, hasnt been dropped or damaged so i can only think its the update of software.i have reset it and still i have the same problem.If I slide open to answer calls or messages or use the menu's by opening it as if to use the media player (ie slide down) it works fine. If I slide up i get a blank screen and it takes absolutely ages to get the menu n screen When a call comes in screen goes blank except for a few lines (top middle)

Whenever I lock the screen, and then get a text message, the screen will stay lit for a really long time. Like longer than it used to. I usually have to end up pressing the lock button to make it go off, but not until it I realize that it's been lit for a long time.

Just done latest E71 firmware update 400.21.013 to it and all went well except the WiFi symbol comes on after 30 seconds and will not go off. No other program can use the wifi connection. I have four E71. Tried it on the second E71 phone. Did the same. Permanently, the wifi is on. Tried a deep hard reset and then installed. Same again.
I recently bought a new nokia E7 and not long after I decided to try out the camera but the screen stays black, as in I can see the tools but the actual camera screen is black as if somethings in front of it, when I switch to the front camera (facing me) it works fine, just the back camera wont show anything?

I can log in here on my desktop and can visit the same page using my BlackBerry 9300 browser but I cannot login. The screen goes white and stays that way. (I have of course latest OS and have tried battery reset)
