The home button on my iPhone 4 wasn't working all night long for some strange reason. Then when the phone finally died it would not turn back on when plugged into the wall. The "charging" icon did not even show up! Holding the lock and home buttons does not work.

all of a sudden, after my dinner this evening, my S6 edge was completely unresponsive.
pressing the power button for 7+ seconds, as per Samsung, did not work at all. totally black screen, no response. pressing the volume DOWN button, power button, and the home button, also to no avail. on the other hand, while on the phone to TMobile's customer service to report this non-functional brand new phone,
i was continuing to press the abovementioned buttons frantically. well, while i was talking to TMobile via my landline, the phone eventually booted up. this was VERY haphazard. The only thing i recall reading about this was to press the power button for 7 seconds, which Samsung had said was the equivalent of pulling out the battery.
right. that's bogus. that did nothing for me. yet, by pressing the volume up or down button PLUS the power button PLUS the home button,
i don't know exactly which combination eventually worked, as i was trying various permutations, eventually, the phone booted up. this does not give me confidence in this phone.
What eventually i did to make this phone boot up eventually. all i did was to be on the phone with TMobile and press the power button plus the volume up or down button, plus the home button, and eventually, it rebooted and came back to life.
When plugged in my charing icon doesn't show the lighting bolt to verify charging.The battery itself just stays at the very low red icon.

So, after that, I got stuck at Google logo screen. I entered stock recovery (I never installed a custom recovery) and wiped cache, with no luck. Did a data wipe. No luck. So I tried flashing the factory image for Android 5.0, but right after flashing the bootloader, the device turned off (or it appeared to), the script showed "waiting for device", and the phone never came back. I've been loving the Lumia 800 since I got it bar a few problems getting it turn on, but this one takes the cake. Last night I was using my phone before I went to sleep and the battery died so I put it to one side. This morning I go to charge the phone and I'm getting very very little response from the phone. Once I plug the charger in the phone vibrates twice, although the second time it appears to be getting 'cut off.' At no point is anything visible on the screen.
Tried to use the laptop and I get the USB connection sound from my PC, however it then plays the 'removed USB device' sound and there's no indication the phone's connected.
The only technique that gets any kind of response is the 'soft reset', holding the power button and bottom volume button for 10 seconds which gets my carrier's logo up on screen before it quickly dies.
As this is my only phone I'm getting rather stressed about this. I really do need my phone in the week. Would you guys suggest I take it to one of my carrier's shop or try and go through Nokia themselves?
So dissapointed because it's my favourite phone I've ever owned, and now it's useless and causing me a lot of undue stress.
I plugged it into the wall, usb, docks, everything. Nothing happens. I can't see a water damage indicator and i cleaned out the port on my phone very well, not sure what can be done, and if need be can it be replaced at an Apple Store?

While charging my X10 mini pro, the touchscreen becomes unresponsive. This happens when I connect to PC or power outlet.Everything else works fine. All the 3 hard keys work. Touchscreen does not work even a little.When I get calls, I cant attend. I cant even switch off as I have to tap the power off button shown in the screen. Dosent go away until I reboot the phone, any ideas? When it is fully charged the green led even stays lit. Dosent do it all the time just enough to be annoying. I really dont want to trade my phone for a reconditioned one since it is only three weeks old.

Woke up this morning to a completely unresponsive phone. Screen is blacked out, tried a soft reset and nothing happened. Plugged it in via USB to try and do a Windows Phone recovery and the computer isn't even recognizing it. Weird thing is when I set the phone on a wireless charger the charger lights up like it is charging.

This doesn't happen often, but often enough that I have to do a soft reset several times to correct the problem. Even then, it's still not 100% responsive. my iphone 3g battery died. When I recharged it the large icon with a lightning bolt under it showed up and it booted after a while. After that the charge does not go higher than 2% and it turns off after barely a minute of usage and there is no charging sign on the battery icon. I've heard marshmallow detects whether your phone is fast charging or not. I use the stock Motorola turbocharger on android 6.0.1 and it charges very fast but shouldn't the charging lockscreen display "charging rapidly" like on some other fast charge phones?
