At the slide to unlock screen, it lets me slide the slider, but it freezes when i slide it all the way, then it displays a black screen with a wheel in the middle after about 30 seconds. Then it turns off. I decided to restore, and when I did, it displayed me with the iphone set up menu, but when I slide to unlock, the same thing happens. Pressing the home and sleep/wake button until the device turns off and the apple logo comes up doesn't work either.
XM5800, Phone won't start up properly, doesn't load after the Nokia Screen. Basicall I turn it on and it goes the Nokia screen and then my background pops up but then nothing else happens, if I try to press button, the "Use keyguard switch to unlock screen and keys" message pops up, and nothing happens if I try to unlock it.
My wife and I upgraded to 4Gs phones and were left with iPhone 3Gs. To use it overseas we decided to unlock them. The carrier AT&T authorized it since they were out of contract.After backup and restore I was able to unlock one of the phones. The other identical one comes with "no SIM card" error after back up and restore from iTunes as per the instructions from Apple. I tired with the SIM that was used with success on the one phone but still the same error message.
When ever I try to unlock (dragging lock button from left to right) , I am unable to unlock in one go. It is taking multiple attemts to unlock my phone.I also observed that when I get to call, to cancel dragging the icon from right to left this is required multiple attempts.i.e many time dragging icon from right to left.
I don't know whether it is software problem or hardware. I have tried the repair operation also. my xperia neo is uptodate and running 2.3.4 os.I also tried to un install apps but I couldn't find any difference.Also once I unlock, those 5 screens, I can scroll inbetween and can touch home button. But when I long press on the screen to add widget/folder I am unable to do it as soon as I unlock phone. It is taking some time to respond.
As I purchased this phone in UK and using it in India, I am not sure how much service I can get in india from SE.I have bill for the mobile too.in other posts somebody told me to remove yahoo and i did the same but didn't find any difference.in short the touch scence is not responsive during unlock and for a while once get the home screen. I also installed andvance task killer app and killing apps frequently that also not making any help.
I set a screen lock code today and used it several time with no problems. Tonight the unlock screen shows 'Enter Password to Unlock' but when I enter the pin code, it will not unlock.
I am having issue where phone will not come out of lock screen. Buttons light but screen stays black. I can reboot and use phone so I know it is not hardware. I can still blindly touch screen and maybe get past lock but stays black til I reboot.

I have been trying to unlock my Iphone 4, called the operator(Vodafone Spain), they told me that its all fine, but every time when I try to restore it with the new SIM in it, it wont work, it keeps showing the error message(SIM not supported). What can I do?
iphone 4 freezes on the unlock screen, for a minute or two, with the arrow stuck all the way to the right. Then it reboots itself, and works. Then freezes again at next use.
I just receently undated my iphone and restored it although I lost all of my pictures and contacts. Now when I use the phone and it goes in lock after I'm not using it I cant get to see the unlock screen by pressing the home key. The screen just goes black and stays black. The only way I can get it to come back on it by pressing and holding the two buttons the one time for about 30 seconds.
my iphone4's screen got big all of a sudden by itself (did not do anything from the settings) now it is so big even when try to move from the corners i cant enter the numbers to unlock the sim. it touches zero in the middle and gets locked.
i turned it off and on took the simcard in and out. nothing works.
Since yesterday all the sudden my iphone 3gs is freezing at the slide to unlock screen. You can slide it over and then after a few minutes the phone will go to the circle with the lines on it screen then all the sudden stop doing anything. If I hold the top button and home button down I can hard reboot the phone and it works again until I have to slide to unlock then it happens again. The weird thing about this is that it only seems to be happening when the phone is not on a wifi network only 3g. What can I do about this? I have the latest iOS update installed and it's been installed for a while.
I cannot get the slider on the touch screen to unlock my iPhone 3G. There are parts of the screen that do not work consistently. I can grab the slider and move it, but right before the phone should unlock the slider disengages and moves back to the left.

I need to hide "camera button" on the unlock screen of iphone. It's iphone of my boss and he hate the button(don't know why). I tried to double tap the home button twice on unlock screen but it just start music player. I there any settings option which disables this button to appear?
