Just used my camera for the first time since 4.0.1 and now have this issue. I took a picture of a white sheet of paper to illustrate what's happening. Anyone else notcing this since the update?

After downloading the new software update, when my phone is locked and I press the home button twice for the shortcut to the camera it doesn't do anything after I press the camera icon! Before I updated it worked and now it doesn't! Why? It just shows the camera icon but when I press it, it doesn't take me to the camera.

I did the ios5 software update and I have the camera icon in the home screen lock mode, but if you go into the camera from your lock screen and then press the home button, it takes you to your unlocked home screen without asking for the password.How do I change it so that it is always password protected?

I recently updated my phone to 5.1 and now the lock screen displays the camera permanently but doesn't work? Has anyone else experienced this? More importantly is there a way of rectifying it? View 3 Replies View RelatedI take a lot of videos of family and friends, and had quite a few of these on my camera roll. Recently, I went to access them, and none of them are on my camera roll. I also can't find them on my PC. I found a few unimportant videos that had downloaded to my PC, but none of the ones I most particularly wanted to keep. All my photos are still on my iPhone and on my PC. I did update my phone to the latest iOS. So I'm thinking that could have had something to do with it. Are these videos lost forever?

When you select the photo, it brings up a larger version of the grey box showing the "JPG" in the middle. This is my second m8 I recently updated to 4.4.4 with at&t now my camera refuses to focus I can see well on the camera when the object is about an inch from the camera but, anything further and the camera gets unfocused.

Anytime I try to press ufocus or any of the duo options it says can not use duo effects on this photo.. I can uninstall the gallery update to stock and take the exact same photo and it works fine.

i have symbian anna and did the camera update but the video recording is still on 25 fps. the application installed succesfull i can see that by the camera/video icons on top left of the screen so i guess it works but it still recording on 25 fps.

When I turn it on from the Camera button or Software button, doesnt matter I get, black screen and the settings marks of camera view on the screen. When shoot the picture from the button or the screen button, it does take the picture but it is very dark picture, even under a strong light and no colors but blue everything in the picture like a horror movie! When I insist taking photo during this condition, it all gets frozen and I hardly go back to phone and the phone requires a start up to be stabilized again. I get a frozen camera working behind and slows down everything. I have tryed reloading the symbian update, (Doesnt work) I have tryed to format MicroSD (even making it FAT32)

View 13 Replies View RelatedI recently got my x10i from a friend who had never updated it from the original 1.6 android version that it came with, so i have updated to the recent gingerbread update. The problem is that since the update, the buil in camera app will open, but as soon as i press the shutter button (or use the touch function) to take a picture it hangs and won't do anything until i exit. All the while it is hanging it is actively displaying whatever i point it at, but it won't take a picture. The annoying thing is that other camera apps such as camera360 work fine and will take photos, but i want to be able to use the face recognition and video functionality of the built in app.

View 8 Replies View RelatedAfter I updated brand new Xperia Ray to Android 4.0.3 using PC Companion, the front facing camera is no longer active - I cannot find a way to switch from back camera to front.Before the update the switch from back to front camera worked OK.. When I checked Skype the camera was working there but still not working in main Camera application.
Also I cannot find the Sound Recorder but the Settings => Appl shows this aplication as existing on the phone.
Updated my Xperia Neo V with PCCompanion to Android 4.0.4 and when trying to use Skype I noticed that the videoconference works but only with the back camara. I see the other person on the screen but I have to turn the phone around so they can see me.
Front camara worked great before this update perfectly. Looked at a couple of other posts around internet but the only response is to go in the camara options and select front camara... but it isn't there anymore since update.
Rest of the phone seems to work ok, only issue I've found is this with the front camara. Read a post about using: [URL] Haven't tried it but will it affect the phone since it's an English version download?

View 3 Replies View RelatedOkay, so camera always worked perfectly. Yesterday received KitKat update 4.4.2 and now in low light conditions my camera has a purple hue.
This is not a hardware issue. It is clearly a software issue and the 4.4.2 KitKat update appears to be garbage. My girlfriend has the exact same issue since updating to 4.4.2.
