I'm a chronic rom flasher and repairing my Bluetooth devices every time is getting extremely tiring. So, I did a little researching and found out that titanium backup can backup and restore Bluetooth parings. However, my question is, what do I backup? What's the name of the system app that I need to backup?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to back up Titanium Backup folder from phone (nexus 6p) without luck, I have USB debugg in developing section of phone + MTP enable to transfer files, I could see the internal memory with all the goods but not my root files, when use root explorer I could see " Titanium Backup folder ", My concern if I need to wipe phone I want it to have back up, any other way to accomplish this ? I do have a back up in the cloud, would I be able to use cloud backup file if need to ?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI already had installed Titanium Backup on my Nexus 5 but after changing to ART didnt worked any more cause it wasnt compatible, but okay so far no problem. But now i reflashed Cataclysm Rom (so no Titanium Backup installed) and Multiboot and so i wanted to backup my data for the second Rom but now i cant install Titanium Backup on my primary Rom, doesnt matter if i run in ART or change to DALVIK i even tried the newest version wich should run also with ART. It shows every time the error it couldn't be installed, during installprocess.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm using Titanium Backup and my backup folder used to be a USB-drive I mounted with Stickmount.
Now, with Android 6, Stickmount no longer works for me and the built-in USB-OTG mount takes over and mounts the USB drive to /mnt/media_rw/SOMEFOLDER.
But with Titanium Backup, I can't access this folder (folder chooser has no permission to move into this folder).
So, is there a possibility to access the USB drive in another way or do I have to do backups to the internal storage and move it to the USB drive manually?
Have installed android marshmallow.
Installed appropriate titanium backup.
Successfully installed supersu.
But still the restoring backup stuck at 0.
My Titanium Backup license file (txt) was not recognized on the sdcard. I tried almost everything. Uninstalled, reinstalled and so on. I also placed the file in the mnt/sdcard folder what didn't wok. I owned several devices and never had a single problem. There must be something nexus specific?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI reflashed all the factory images to my Nexus 6P (except userdata), and then restored a TWRP backup of the data partition. This worked, my phone boots up and obviously has my installed apps, etc. But... on the Nexus 6P when you restart the phone you have to enter your lock pattern or PIN. My phone was previously configured with a pattern. It seems the TWRP data backup didn't backup the lock pattern, because it doesn't recognize my pattern.
My fingerprint is recognized, but on the Nexus 6P you still have to enter the lock pattern or PIN when you first reboot. So, I have no way to get into the phone. I tried setting a new lock screen password with Android Device Manager, but it doesn't work. I still get the screen asking for the lock pattern. Is there any way I can get into my phone without blowing away all the data?
Unlocking the bootloader of my nexus wiped clean the internal storage. Although I did not lose much but it made me realize that I should have a backup system in place where everything is being backed up on my home NAS on a daily scheduled basis. I am planning to buy Seagate 4 TB (STCG3000200) which will be connected to my router. now I am looking for a way where I can schedule a incremental dump or differential dump of my phone on a daily basis so I dont have to worry about the backups any more.

I'm running the latest TWRP 3.0.0.0. I noticed when taking a backup, and it asks which partitions I'd like to back up, I notice a couple new ones I've not seen before. System image, vendor image, right below, system, and vendor. I notice the "image" partitions are slightly larger than regular system and vendor. What are these, and should they be included in a regular backup?

For some reason, my default messaging app keeps changing to Titanium backup. Why is that even an option? If I change it back to Textra, the change only lasts about a day.
View 5 Replies View RelatedAny way to boost bluetooth playback volume. I have beats wireless studio headphones and they are definitely not as loud as they were when using them with my g3 on CM12. I do remember them being this low on the stock lg rom but when I switched over to CM the sound drastically increased. I am looking for a no root solution if possible as I am stock for the time being. I can't even feel any bass from these things and that's what they are supposed to be for.

My Nexus 5 would dial, and as you expect the car remains connected and the audio and dialling occurs through the car system. With my Nexus 6P, the car talks to my phone, and then immediately cuts off the bluetooth, a bit like a failure to communicate, but the phone will then carry on calling, and only if I try to dial from my car, and if the person has answered does it then lock on and maintain the call via the car system.

Connected the Nexus 6P via bluetooth to my Alpine headunit, volume goes from ZERO to 35. Normaly, on volume 28 you just can't sit in the car. Now!? Well, i had it at MAX (35), and we could still talk in the car... what the...!?
Tried with another phone, and crazy sound just like before.. so something is very wrong with the bluetooth output from my Nexus 6P.
Same when i try to stream music from spotify to my Marshall speaker. Just sooo low volume...
This will be a deadlbreaker for me. I stream music all days long, and can't have a phone that can't handle it....
Two days after owning this phone I had the dreaded bent metal issue near the volume button. I flashed pure nexus on it though and I'm trying to get it back to stock before I take it back into bestbuy to get a new one. My stock nandroid backup fully flashes but it won't boot. All I see is the google logo.
I know I can fb flash the stock, but that's so much more of a process. Plus, it doesn't make sense to me that it wouldn't work...
So I understand this is a new feature in marsmallow, right? Your app data within reason being backed up into your google account. I'm considering whether to root the 6P to install Xposed, and obviously unlocking the bootloader will wipe everything out and to be fair life is too short to spend configuring all my apps again the way I like them.

("points d'accs wifi" in french so i 'm not sure if it's "hotspot" or not)And now, i can't unable wifi anymore.When i try to switch the wifi toogle "on", it automaticly goes "off".

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've seen a lot of people with different Bluetooth issues but not much about what's happening to me. I assume Bluetooth is just bad on this phone. use Bluetooth headphones while I'm at work. I have to pause a lot of times obviously. Around 90% of the time I have to use my phone to continue playing what I was listening to.
Pressing play with the button on the headphones does nothing. Sometimes if it's around a minute or two later the headphones button will work. If it's longer it never works. Is this happening to other people. I am unrooted. The only change is unlocked bootloader. I am also still on MDA89D. My phone doesn't seem to want to update.
Just noticed yesterday that my battery life has been pretty poor on my new Nexus 6P. It took me a while to narrow it down, but I finally noticed that Bluetooth appears to be keeping the phone awake.
Whenever Bluetooth is on, regardless of whether it's connected or paired to anything (I normally use Android Wear, but I completely unpaired all bluetooth devices on the phone), "Android OS" in the battery info screen appears to be stuck awake. Its "Keep awake" time grows continuously as long as Bluetooth is turned on.
I really can't be leaving Bluetooth turned off, and the phone is not really going to make it through the day like this.
I swapped from a Nexus 5 to the 6P, and I'm finding bluetooth volume to be incredibly low. I basically can't hear my audiobooks in the car with it being as low as it is. This is a serious problem for me. I have the volume maxed and it's like a whisper.

When i have bluetooth enabled, media plays through my bluetooth headset only but notifications like texts still play through phone speakers AND the bluetooth headset at the same time.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got this Titanium My office usually sends me appointment requests from outlook through my work email. It's not exchange email, just generic email. They used to automatically appear on my BB calendar. I receive the emails on the T but they're blank except for the prompt to open/save the attachment. If I open the attachment, the calendar event is in 'raw' format. If I save it, it stores it as 'unkown attachment' on the sd card. It doesn't get added to my calendar. I've got outlook 2007 on my pc and tried it from my personal account (not gmail), same results. I set up forwarding all email from my work's website to my gmail account. When it gets to gmail, I have to click on the email then choose 'add to calendar' or it does nothing. I need it to be automatic. My calendar type is google. I have sync options set to auto and I've cleared the data from the calendar as posted by someone else who had a problem with calendar syncing) Creating an appointment on the gmail website works fine, it appears on my phone quickly. This seems kind of convoluted. If my fellow employees switch to Android this will be a PITA. Is there an automatic way of doing this?
