View 5 RepliesI've seen a lot of people with different Bluetooth issues but not much about what's happening to me. I assume Bluetooth is just bad on this phone. use Bluetooth headphones while I'm at work. I have to pause a lot of times obviously. Around 90% of the time I have to use my phone to continue playing what I was listening to.
Pressing play with the button on the headphones does nothing. Sometimes if it's around a minute or two later the headphones button will work. If it's longer it never works. Is this happening to other people. I am unrooted. The only change is unlocked bootloader. I am also still on MDA89D. My phone doesn't seem to want to update.
Having issue with the audio cutting out when the volume is up high when using headphones? For example, during a phone call, if things get loud, the audio will start popping.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI will be listening to music through headphone, and a call comes and it isnt through headphone, I call with headphones in and call goes through phone speaker as if I do not have hadphones in at all.
If I press the speakerphone button, I will then hear through my headphone, but still cant talk through headphone mic.
I thought the call screen is supposed to give you options (headset, or headphones) but I think only saw it once, only thing the button does now is just switch the speakerphone and off the speakerphone.
Any way to boost bluetooth playback volume. I have beats wireless studio headphones and they are definitely not as loud as they were when using them with my g3 on CM12. I do remember them being this low on the stock lg rom but when I switched over to CM the sound drastically increased. I am looking for a no root solution if possible as I am stock for the time being. I can't even feel any bass from these things and that's what they are supposed to be for.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Mazda 3 2014 with built in Infotainment system, and I can of course place calls from it over bluetooth. My Nexus 5 would dial, and as you expect the car remains connected and the audio and dialling occurs through the car system. With my Nexus 6P, the car talks to my phone, and then immediately cuts off the bluetooth, a bit like a failure to communicate, but the phone will then carry on calling, and only if I try to dial from my car, and if the person has answered does it then lock on and maintain the call via the car system.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI got the phone 2 days ago. Rooted, and set up the phone. Went out to the car - a car loaded with DigitalDesign 15" subs, and like 5kW of power to make some noice.
Connected the Nexus 6P via bluetooth to my Alpine headunit, volume goes from ZERO to 35. Normaly, on volume 28 you just can't sit in the car. Now!? Well, i had it at MAX (35), and we could still talk in the car... what the...!?
Tried with another phone, and crazy sound just like before.. so something is very wrong with the bluetooth output from my Nexus 6P.
Same when i try to stream music from spotify to my Marshall speaker. Just sooo low volume...
This will be a deadlbreaker for me. I stream music all days long, and can't have a phone that can't handle it....
Just noticed yesterday that my battery life has been pretty poor on my new Nexus 6P. It took me a while to narrow it down, but I finally noticed that Bluetooth appears to be keeping the phone awake.
Whenever Bluetooth is on, regardless of whether it's connected or paired to anything (I normally use Android Wear, but I completely unpaired all bluetooth devices on the phone), "Android OS" in the battery info screen appears to be stuck awake. Its "Keep awake" time grows continuously as long as Bluetooth is turned on.
I really can't be leaving Bluetooth turned off, and the phone is not really going to make it through the day like this.
I swapped from a Nexus 5 to the 6P, and I'm finding bluetooth volume to be incredibly low. I basically can't hear my audiobooks in the car with it being as low as it is. This is a serious problem for me. I have the volume maxed and it's like a whisper.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm a chronic rom flasher and repairing my Bluetooth devices every time is getting extremely tiring. So, I did a little researching and found out that titanium backup can backup and restore Bluetooth parings. However, my question is, what do I backup? What's the name of the system app that I need to backup?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have tried through Bluetooth and the phone is unable to pair with the controller. Is there any other way to work around this issue and connect wireless. Also will a USB-C OTG cable work with the 6P.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I have BT activated on the N6P along with Google Maps Nav, the sound output (voice directions) is either:a. When phone is set to BT stream music = sound command is partially cutoff at the beginning - orb. If the radio is on = No sound output is heard at allGoogle Nav is set to output sound via BT under its settings.
This also happened on my OnePlus One. I thought I had read somewhere that this happen because of the BT format that Android sends to the car's audio system is incompatible.
My brand new baby is giving me a Bluetooth nightmare. After I use it with Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 headset and disconnect the Bluetooth (even if I switch off Bluetooth), phone audio won't come thru the regular speaker. However, if I switch on the speakerphone, then audio works. A restart fixes the problem. But it is super annoying.

View 5 Replies View RelatedToday I flashed CM13 on my Nexus6P and it all worked fine until I tried starting the camera, which gave me the error mentioned in the title. Restarting the phone and erasng the app's data didn't work either. Also everytime I boot my phone it shows me an "your device is corrupted" screen (not the boot loader unlocked screen) and when the phone starts it shows me something like "there's a problem with your phone, it might not work properly".Is this my fault or is it a CM13 issue and how do I fix it? (I'm using today's official CM13 build with Open Gapps Mini arm64 for android 6.0)
View 4 Replies View RelatedEvery so often my WiFi won't connect to my home router. Seems to happen after i leave for some time then come back home. I can see the network but cannot connect or turn off the WiFi. The only way for me to fix it short of a reboot is to turn on airplane mode turn off WiFi then turn off airplane nice. Otherwise the phone had been perfect. Stock non rooted.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect my 6P to my desktop, it installs the drivers, but it won't show up on my computer. I can't access any of the data. It charges but no actual transfer. I have changed the setting to MTP, tried installing new drivers, Android Debugging toggled (adb push works oddly enough), installing Google drivers, but nothing seems to work!
Also to note: My brother's Nexus 6 won't connect, and neither will my other brother's OnePlus One. It makes me think it has something to do with standard Android devices?
I'm on Windows 8.1 FYI.
Is there any way to connect an unrooted android phone to Chromecast without a WiFi? My phone will have an internet and it can use it's hotspot to connect to Chromecast. But, turns out, turning hotspot on will turn off the Wifi automatically. This seems to be a unsolvable problem?
Problem:I'm trying to connect my phone to a LCD display in my car. The car display has a video input. So, if I can connect Chromecast with a HDMI to video converter, then I can have my phone control that display. I don't necessarily have to use Chromecast, I can use whatever... like Amazon fire stick or something if those are better for this purpose.
How to confirm that song metadata shows up on their car stereo when streaming over Bluetooth? I have a Kenwood deck that pairs and streams fine, but metadata are never displayed. Before I take it up with Kenwood, I want to confirm that the feature does in fact work with other units (and thus isn't a problem with the phone).
View 10 Replies View RelatedSo I received my Nexus 6P and yesterday I activated it on Project Fi. When I got to work today, I tried connecting to the same wifi point I always have, but when I try to connect it says "Connected, no Internet"I switched to Project Fi from T-Mobile, where I was using a Note 4 and I was able to connect and use the network yesterday on the N4 w/ T-Mo, but can't today with the 6P and Fi.

I tried the other day to connect my Bluetooth stereo headphones to the Playbook....
The headphones connected but did not work....
Does anyone know if the Playbook supports Bluetooth headphones...or has anyone successfully connected stereo Bluetooth headphones to the Playbook..
I'm planning to pick up a S6 next week but I have one quick question. I have used Samsung devices in the past and if I had my headphones connected and I paired my device with my car or Bluetooth speakers the audio would continue to play through the headphones and I would have to disconnect them before audio would play via the Bluetooth device.

Is this a known problem and is there anything I can do to keep these devices paired up, or do I need to cease use of wireless headphones?
