View 3 RepliesHow come if I am in "picture mode" of the camera and then switch to "video" it zooms in. What would normally be in the frame for a picture is cropped so much for video.....
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I'm running Camera Zoom FX on a stock, debloated, rooted rom. It takes pics fine. However when I try to switch to video mode, it says "video switch not supported on this device"
Is there a fix for this? If not, whats another good camera app tha does actually support video.
Last week, I used the flash and zoom on my camera, everything was normal, the buttons were there. Now When I open the camera icon, I have just the button for the switch mode( front and back), no more zoom or flash options/buttons at the top of the screen camera.
Info:
iPhone 4, iOS 5.1
Is there a way, or an app, that would permit me to zoom the camera with the volume buttons?
View 2 Replies View RelatedJust got a brand new Nexus 6P yesterday, camera was working fine. Woke up this morning and the camera produces a black screen. Cleared camera data, cache, updated, tried third party apps, then performed a factory reset. All to no avail.
It is still locked I haven't unlocked the bootloader or even rooted the device yet... literally got it yesterday.
So I got my Nexus 6P yesterday and the first thing I did was unlock the bootloader and root. However I just noticed this morning that I no longer have access to the camera. If I open the camera app it just shows a black screen with the camera symbol in the middle and Snapchat just gives me a black screen. The only things I have done were u lock bootloader, Root and I changed my DPI to 400. I've tried reboots and clearing data/cache from both Snapchat and my camera app with no success.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've recently purchased a Huwaei Nexus 6P. It's fantastic in every way including the camera... That is of course, when I can get the app to work. I use the camera to take pictures and occasionally video about 5% of the time. The app just hangs on the screen just before the viewfinder appears, and the only way to get the camera working again is to reboot the phone! It's incredibly frustrating, because everything about this phone is flawless!
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I record a video on my Nexus 6 P when the camera focuses you can hear a purring or a tapping sound. easiest way to recreate this is to do it tap focus by focusing on the far and back on a near object.
Is it a faulty device or all have this issue. Im recording in 4k.
I am loving my 6P, but I almost drop it all the time trying to reach across the screen and hit the back button while holding the phone one handed.
I think this wouldn't be nearly as much of a problem if I could move the back button to the far right position (this is where I had it on my G3 and it was soo much more comfortable to use).
Are there any root/non-root/modifications I can use to rearrange the buttons?
I have the bootloader unlocked and would happily root if it would enable the ability to move the buttons
I know Xposed add-ons will add this functionality eventually, but that could be at least a few weeks/months away.
I have tried apple and samsung headphones that have volume controls on the headphone wire and both of them pause audio play back if you try to turn the volume up or down. I tried this in Google Music and Beyond Podcast and same issue. If I press volume up then playback pauses.

View 1 Replies View Relatedwhen I open my camera it shows only camera logo and the shot button at the bottom. it happned on stock and I am now on purenexus and the same. what can I do. (its not hardware because camera is working after few seconds when restart and than its crashes)
View 10 Replies View RelatedAs we all know nexus 6p has excellent camera hardware, but I am not satisfied with camera app with no functionality and sluggish.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI just got my Nexus 6P yesterday, unlocked the bootloader, flashed TWRP, and did the systemless root, and now my camera app does not boot!I read somewhere flashing the stock boot.img fixes it, but then i'd lose the systemless root.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhat is the difference between the two HDR modes in the camera? One is auto HDR, one is just HDR..
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm running the latest Cyanogenmod 13 nightly on my Nexus 6P, without gapps. Unfortunately, I do not have an HDR option in the camera (tried AOSP and Google camera).
I already flashed the vendor.img from Google. What I could do? I do not want to install gapps.
I've only had my Blackberry Bold for about 2 months. The camera was being a little funny and won't zoom so I switched off my phone and took out the battery and replaced it to try and reboot the phone. Now it won't turn on!When the battery is in the Red LED light at the top right corner lights up then goes off when the Phone starts up showing the BLACKBERRY Logo on the screen with the Loading Bar underneath. The bar then shows that it is loading but almost immediately it crashes and switches off. It does this repeatedly though I've tried removing and replacing the battery several times.I'm sure it is not a problem with the battery as I had only charged it the previous night and even tried using another battery from my friends Blackberry just to double check but the phone continues to repeatedly turn on, crash, turn off.

View 2 Replies View RelatedToday I flashed CM13 on my Nexus6P and it all worked fine until I tried starting the camera, which gave me the error mentioned in the title. Restarting the phone and erasng the app's data didn't work either. Also everytime I boot my phone it shows me an "your device is corrupted" screen (not the boot loader unlocked screen) and when the phone starts it shows me something like "there's a problem with your phone, it might not work properly".Is this my fault or is it a CM13 issue and how do I fix it? (I'm using today's official CM13 build with Open Gapps Mini arm64 for android 6.0)
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhenever I try to open the stock camera app it instantly closes then the message "Unfortunately, Camera has stopped." pops up. It does this every time even after multiple restarts. I have tried downloading multiple different camera apps as well however it only opens the front camera and has no option to switch to the rear one. I am running 6.0.1
View 10 Replies View RelatedWhy I am getting these patches on all pictures that i take. I am able to see it when i am using the camera app as well; although if i zoom the patch disappears.
I have checked that it's not an issue with the screen by opening a white background pic, also checked that the camera glass is clean.

When I try to start the stock camera app it just hangs won't start. I've rebooted and still no luck. Is this a known issue?
View 5 Replies View RelatedJust noticed my camera while recording and focusing makes a click or distortion noise which is very minimal but I also noticed that it gets picked up in the video recordings. My device has no other issue besides this and really don't want to roll the dice and get a bad RMA.
View 8 Replies View RelatedThe camera stopped working on my phone. I uninstalled google camera then reinstalled it. It didn't work. When I hit the camera button on screen, the controls for the camera show up on the screen, but nothing works. The screen is dark (like there is a lens cover on it).
View 7 Replies View RelatedSo I took the first couple pics with the camera and now I've had a persistent notification (been there overnight at this point) that says "processed 2 of 8 items". Has a progress bar on it and (at this point) yesterdays date.
View 1 Replies View RelatedRunning 6.01, traditionally rooted using the M boot image and SU beta. Everything works fine, except my camera app and flashlight. Camera will either FC, just stay black and not function, or just be black and a white circle x. Flashlight button will turn white but the light doesn't come on. Uninstalled and reinstalled. No change....
View 4 Replies View RelatedI manually upgrades my phone to 6.0.1 and since I can't use camera. Tried clearing cache and rebooting. Nothing. Tried other camera apps and those also are not working. Just black screen.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI find the camera takes darker pictures, especially in low light, compared to Note 5 (underexposed perhaps? Not a photography buff at all . Also, the snapping pictures in general seems to be slower vs. Note 5.
I currently have both 6p and Note 5 and truly find the Note 5 to have an all-around better camera. 6p but bad by any means, but tough comparing to Note 5.
I used to to be able to double tap to open camera and now it doesn't do anything at all. My power button to lock option in security is off. I'm on stock with elemental x kernel, with xposed. Idk if I accidentally enabled an option or disabled something in ex elemental kernel manager or limited a service in amplify that I shouldn't have.
And yes the double tap for camera is enabled in my settings and I cleared defaults too for the stock camera but nothing....
