I just bought a Nexus 6P and had a hard time to transfer content from old iPhone 5S to 6P. There are a lot of free tutorials and recommendations on that, but up to now, only transferred the contacts. I also need to transfer text messages, music library and ebooks. Is there an all-in-one solution out there that would transfer those content more easily? It's just difficult to do it manually.

i remember using APP SETTINGS xposed app on previous android versions on my Note 2. But this is not working on my nexus 6P.
I don't want the message content to be shown in notification bar. Any possibility.
Also i am using TrueMesssenger sms app which is displaying PEEK or headsup notifications even after turning off the PEEK option from app info.
best way when considering my Note 4 is locked? it did not work perfectly when I move from my Samsung s3 to the note but not sure if Helium is really my only option..I definitely want to move over my sms/mms
View 10 Replies View RelatedI am trying to adb sideload custom rom but adb devices is not recognizing my nexus 6p. I have deleted my internal storage, I have no os, am I screwed? My computer recognizes that my phone is connected, adb recognizes my phone is attached when not in recovery. The only time my phone is not attached is when in twrp recovery, when in recovery my phone shows up in device manager with an exclamation point and the message that the drivers are not installed but adb is installed.

When I switch to MTP, nothing happens. When I change to PTP my Nexus gets a mark in the device list but I can't install any driver manually. Even when I navigate to the location where the google drivers are located.

Looked at a few apps but those seem to only move contacts, pics, and stuff like that. I always backup everything on my Note 3 with Titanium backup...so am I going to have to transfer my backup from my Note 3 to my Nexus 6P to restore all that or is there a direct way to do it?

However, in the usage part of general settings on the phone, it shows that 8gb remain free. I deleted a significant amount of content and the iTunes reading of the remaining storage remains the same. I transferred some files from my old phone (photos, contacts, etc.) and have only downloaded two apps. Under Storage, it says that Miscellaneous Files take up 13.10GB of space - and that Mobile Content Transfer is the biggest culprit of this. If I delete this file, would I lose everything that transferred? I've added an SD card but can only put a few apps onto it and not much else.

Reset the APNs to default and restarted the phone multiple times. It fixed my wife (iphone) receiving SMS from me but others still nothing.
