I have been attempting to gain internet access through the wi-fi at work with no avail.Im able to connect to the appropriate wireless network with proper authentication but however am unable to find a way to authenticate through the proxy as my HTC's proxy settings have no Authentication option.

How to download bluray digital copies on to the sensation. I have been trying for months to do it and I'm beginning to lose my patience.

The phone works great except for the fact that I now have an issue with a high pitched sound coming out the 3.5mm headphone jack which is connected through my car audio system, when i try to make a phonecall. My music plays fine through the same setup so not sure what is causing the high pitched noise when i try to make a phonecall.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had the phone for about three weeks now. I am past the 14 day remorse period and I didn't start having problems till after this period... Sometimes the phone will just reset bact to the white HTC screen then return to the home page after a few seconds, it sometimes asks to send the error report and sometimes it doesn't. It only did this once or twice out of the blue but now I am noticing it is doing it more often now. The phone has now also started to reboot back to the white HTC screen then show the t-mobile red letters screen then start up. One time it was completely off even though it had battery power and I had to turn it back on. Just last night I was in the middle of a phone call when the phone just dropped the call then rebooted to the white HTC screen then said it recovered from a fatal error or whatever the message says and asked me to report it.

However since it has a cap on data per month I want it to be secondary to several other unlimited WiFi networks such as my office WiFi, home WiFi, free WiFi hotspots, etc. Is there any work around to make the MiFi wireless (or any permanent wireless network) 2nd to all other recognized networks? This is the ideal set-up for my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 WiFi. I don't want to have to turn the MiFi on and off constantly, I want it on in the background as a seamless secondary option. I appreciate any insight and find it odd that you cannot prioritize networks. Meaning if I "forgot this network" and start over will the 1st joined or most recent joined become primary when there are multiple networks available?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI want to use an SMTP server which is not provided by the operator (network or broadband). The only form of authentication catered for seems to be "POP before SMTP" where you have to authorise sending using the same login as you first receive with.
Settings I see are:
Incoming : there is no field for remote mailbox address - weird?
Outgoing: there IS a field for remote mailbox address - why? The username and password fields provided seem to relate to this remote mailbox address, not to the SMTP server. (Anyway, they already exist in incoming settings)
E.g. I can receive from my remote mailbox fine. That's "me@tiscali.co.uk" I can't authenticate using the "smtp.o2.co.uk" server to send using my address of "me@tiscali.co.uk" as there is nowhere to enter my o2 authentication details. (I can send unauthorised to o2 addresses)
The above example works fine in Profimail email client and with Profimail I can send emails carrying the "me@tiscali.co.uk" address with o2 authentication via the o2 SMTP server by either t-mobile network or by tiscali broadband WLAN to any of various test addresses.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have samsung s5 for 7months from tmobile is up to date and last night it was working fine until this afternoon it wont let me connect my wifi and i haven't change my wifi pw not even once its still the same as before. i tried disconnecting my modem for 1min then it still giving me problems i restarted my cell, factory reset it and its still saying authentication errors

My Razr keeps asking for WPA authentication? This does not happen always sometimes it asks several times a day and for authentification password, sometimes it goes for several days with no problem. It bugs me quite a lot to repeat the same procedure again and again. Is there a reason the mobile keeps forgeting the authentification? Is there a way to make it remember?

At university we have a wlan using a proxy server, i set up my access point with proxy settings and port number. Web browsing works fine: when i start web browsing, i am asked to enter my user name and password. But the problem starts when i want to use applications like Vyke Mobile, Chat, E-mail. Somehow there is no connection. I searched the settings of these applications in order to see if there is some place i could enter a proxy/port number, but nothing worked. I'm so confused on here to add the proxy to my Rant. The model number is SPH-M540 I believe. All the guides that I see on how to get the free WAP internet online all say enter Username. When I go into ##3282# Under user name then edit and I enter my MSL code I get User NAI, MN-AAA Secret, MN-HA Secret, SPI MN-HA, SPI MN-AAA, Rev Tun Pref, Home Address, Primary HA IP and Second HA IP. None of those have anything with entering my user name or password that is need to be entered to connect to the proxy. I tried putting the Username in User NAI but that requires an e-mail not just a username. Please help. I have the phone currently on a sprint plan and I really doubt anyone there could or would tell me how to do this.

I just kept getting a message which said "The proxy server is refusing connections". I went to my local Sprint store and after two hours of their playing around with my phone, I was told that I could use Chrome - for some reason you did not get the message with Chrome - or I could reset my phone to factory conditions. Not wanting to reset, I have been using Chrome. I last used it on 11-24 and it worked. As of today I cannot get to the internet with anything. Chrome issues the same message now.
