Whenever I go to a weather website like wunderground and check out the radar, it never loops when I hit the animate radar choice. It just shows the current still radar image. Why is this? My MotoHint was able to show looping radar. Any suggestions?
View 5 RepliesOk so I just got the incredible today. My first Droid phone. I m trying to record and send video via text message. Two things here. 1st the video at 30 secs long seems to be too big to send. I have tried recording it in both formats and at the lowest settings..Any thoughts on how to make it smaller? I was able to send video up to a minute long on my Blackberry so not sure what the problem here is.

Based on past history, I believe it will happen just like other Andriod, Windows, Blackberry, Palm(Pre and Pixi) phones.even if its in the 4th Quarter of this year. I'm thinking some will go by different names or my have slightly different features.

I have the newest software update.My problem is that if i for example if a friend of mine sends me a message at 21.00 then i get it at 21.20 (different from time to time) and in the text message it says that i got it 21.00 but really i got it 21.20. So the thing is that i get my text messages slow. I have tried to reset my phone to factory default but diden't work.

I am trying to get HSDPA (H bar on the bar signal) to work on my phone. I am currently working on edge right now. My carrier is AT&T.My brother has an Sony Ericsson Xperia mini pro (unbranded and unlocked) and has AT&T service and he was able to get HSDPA on his phone. I have no idea how he got it nor does he know himself.What app or APN settings do I need to configure in order to get HSDPA (4G)?> I've heard about the thunderbolt app but does that work with this phone? I also tried to copy my brothers APN settings but no luck.
My preferred network right now is set to GSM/ UMTS mode > GSM only Now I know that gsm is only capable of using edge only but what changes do I need to make? I cna only select these from my preferred network settings:
Global
LTE / CDMA
GSM / UTMS
I can only get a signal when I choose GSM only?
I could not get my Droid Incredible to load past the first white screen, htc said I would need to do a factory reset using the volume down and power button menu options. After trying this three times, my phone will still not get past the first white htc screen.

I've searched and I know this is a common problem.I've seen some solutions, but none have worked for me. So I am basically here to further my knowledge.Like many others, I edited the filedb to unlock the internet settings and when I turned the phone off it came back on looping.
Has anyone found a solution to this that works?The phone connects to every program, but I can't do much with it since it turns off. I've put it in emergency download mode, but a lot of good that does since nothing will upload to it.I can't get QXDM to connect to it. I've gotten everything else to connect.Bitpim, QPST, LG Download, LGUpdate.

View 9 Replies View RelatedYesterday my Nexus 5 turned itself off and since then i can't get it back on. (Still got enough battery left then). When I try to start my phone with the power button nothing happens, and also when I try it with different combinations in buttons it won't start. Now, when I try to charge my nexus everytime the google logo shows up and it shuts itself down, this happens over and over again... as long as the phone is plugged in (same with usb connection on pc).
When I Try to do it in bootloader it shows up one second and shut itself off again. The device is/was rooted, I have to say that I did an update and after that it was half rooted I guess I don't know but for three days there stood a new update, but i never did it...
While on Instagram my G3 screen suddenly went blue and proceeded to boot loop. I get to the LG logo and then a blue screen follows, then the phone turns off and reboots to do the same thing over again, refusing to start up
I have tried to re-flash the stock ROM but i'm not able to access download mode as the screen just returns to the blue screen and shuts off.
after applying last Firmware 5.1 the initialisation "menu" come back in loop and i cant use the iphone

As above, when my screen locks a video plays. This is whether charging or not. I cannot get it to stop playing this video. Also, when I try to set up a PIN for my phone. A padlock appears over the number pad. I have also tried then to set up a swipe lock. The number pad again gets blocked by a Padlock.

If I try to get out of it pressing the back arrow on the top left corner or I press cancel or ok buttons it just goes back to the missed call screen and I have to reset the phone for it to be able to anything at all. I flashed lollipop from Google Website the latest one last Nov 22 if im not mistaken everything works great except yesterday. constantly looping to google logo then the 4 colored dots loading screen then google logo. I tried to reset volume up down + power or volume down + power but no lock. cant flash again because it wont stay on to the fastboot screen will reboot after few secs...
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my incredible yesterday, and spent the whole day checking out apps, importing my pics, vids, and contacts from my Dare, all that good stuff.Most of what I did was done on Wi-Fi, and it was good. Today, I wake up, and my Wi-Fi is not able to connect to anything. I changed nothing, but to be sure, I reconnected to my router. To be EXTRA sure, I'm writing this to you on a computer hooked up to this same router.
My 3G works fine. Any ideas? I tried a different router. Same problem. I get the "A network error has occurred. Retry, or cancel and return to the previous screen" message in the market, and a connection error message in any browser.
I'm seriously looking into jumping from the iPhone 3g to the Incredible. I've had my iPhone for almost 2 years and I love it. With the announcement of OS 4.0 I was a little disappointed with the lack of new features thats going to be included. Pretty much all the features are available now if you decided to jailbreak the iPhone.My ATT contract is up in a few months and i'm due for a new phone now but I'm going to wait and see what iPhone 4 has to offer before I finally make a decision. Just wondering if anyone jumped from an iPhone to the Incrediable and their thoughts on it.

Of course, it seems the majority of them do not work 100% with the Incredible.I tried using a pair of Klipsch in-ear buds, but the volume controls did not work, as they were made for the iPhone 3GS. The sound was really great, and at $100, a nice investment that comes with a 2 year warranty.
Anyone have any suggestions for a pair that will work 100% with the Incredible? I just feel like I'm not getting my money worth if I get a pair that doesnt completely work with the phone. leaves me a bit annoyed that they didn't just come with a set in the first place.
I'm a relatively new Incredible owner. I came from an Eris which was a nice enough phone but it was stuck with a hopelessly slow processor. As we all know, the Incredible came with 2.1. Any word on when we'll be getting Froyo? And I hope it's not as buggy as the 1.6->2.1 OTA update for the Eris! That was a nightmare. Almost everyone who did the OTA upgrade with the Eris had some kind of problem. Maybe the Eris' processor wasn't really up to the 2.1 software.I don't know, but it was a complete disaster. Here's hoping that the 2.1->2.2 update is glitch-free.
