Jun 2, 2014I have an iPhone 5 and its at full capacity. Mostly due to my large music library. I noticed I can increase my iCloud storage to up 50GB with yearly payments. Does this increase the overall storage on the iPhone 5? Essentially, I am trying to increase how much music I can hold on my iPhone. If I add 10 to 20GB of iCloud storage, will I be able to add more data (audio files) to my iPhone?

Sep 16, 2015I just noticed this on my phone last night and I can't figure it out. My phone has 16 GB of internal memory but when I go to Settings and then Storage, my phone is reporting that my memory is totally consumed and app are using over 20 GB of memory. If I use the "MY Files" app that comes installed on the phone, it show device storage as 10.43/16.00 GB. I don't get any errors when installing new apps or updating old ones.
I have cleaned app cache with 360, cleaned system cache in recovery mode, performed a battery pull and gone to the settings app and cleared data with no result.

Jul 16, 2011I have an Atrix running original FW.I also have the lapdock and do like it but REALLY need RDP and VNC clients in order to do my job (linux engineer) better!If any of the updates come out with VNC and/or RDP apps (also ssh CLI would be GREAT!) which I was hoping might be in gingerbread count me in! I use the Atrix and webtop for WORK and right now I just use the lapdock enlarged phone view and run my ssh, vnc, and rdp apps as needed from anywhere I can get a cell or wi-fi signal but the resolution and screen size could be a LOT better.Is there any chance I might see SSH, VNC, and RDP apps added to the webdock any time soon?Is there any plans to add "SPICE" protocol support any time soon for DAAS? url..
Does Motorola have a SDK that I can suggest to developers of the SSH, VNC, and RDP apps I use so they can start developing for the lapdock?Having a full firefox and flash is great (firefox REALLY needs to be updated to v4 with canvas support though!) but just having that and the ICA client I never use is NOT enough!If I could just get AT LEAST a VNC client I could eliminate having to use a laptop completely and just use a VM on my cloud instead!I thought this phone was designed for cloud? Jul 13, 2011I have read help files about the default auto-kill option in the task manager. But it does't explicitley specify which apps can be added to the auto-kill list. I would like to way to know which of the stock apps can be added to the list. I have noticed that my battery usage for idle phone in the range of 30-35% (which I believe a bit high). May be the default apps I already have added to auto-kill are required by motoblur and hence started automatically, thus causing a loop.I have installed only 3 apps uptill now so i am sure they arn't causing this problem

Just one irritation, to which I wonder if anyone has a solution. If I switch the phone off for any reason, when I switch it back on, the folders are all still on the home screen, with the icon I have attributed to the folder, but the names all change to 'Apps label'.

Oct 11, 2010My previous phone was a Palm Centro and I needed a new phone because the power button was very difficult to activate.On my Centro, I was able to create a personal apps folder of the apps I use the most. The Quick Start guide that came with my phone has two pages expplaining basic functions. One box shows being able to Move/Delete Icons, but it only shows how to delete them. Use the long Touvh to move it to the trash can icon. But I don't want to delete them, I want to move or copy them to a personal apps folder.

1) How do I find the folder where apps are stored? I have an external SD card and when I view it with file manager or via USB on PC I can see the folders but I can't see most of the folders that are on internal storage.

Sep 12, 2014I had an iPhone 5s which I broke so I am using a friend's old Galaxy and am debating on getting the iPhone 6, but one thing I REALLY like about Android is the fact that it automatically places photos generated by certain apps into their own albums, in particular WhatsApp and Viber. On my iPhone these pics would just get intermingled in the Camera Roll album. I read another post that said this was the responsibility of the app developer to make that possible. Why they would make it possible for Android and not iOS?

Jan 3, 2010My battery came out, and when I turned my Blackberry Curve 8900 back on , my SMS folder was missing.I was able to find it by:
1. Clicking the blackberry button
2. Clicking messages
3. Clicking the BB button again and scrolling to "View Folder"
There I have options like "browser messages" "facebook messages" "mms inbox" etc.
There are two sections SMS inbox and SMS outbox. I can get to my text messages that way, but its really tedious. If I click on SMS inbox it takes me to what used to be my text screen. When I click the BB button again, there are no "move options"Anyone know how to get it back to being its own icon on the front screen?
