I wanted to know if there was anyway of taking the default view of the phonebook as the keypad off?I find it annoying that every time I open it from having missed calls or to see last dialled it always goes to keypad.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just did the software updgrade, and ever since when I answer a phone call OR when I make a call, the normal "menu" screen pops up, but immediately goes to the keypad. Sometimes I don't even see the "menu". I've tried checking settings, but it doesn't have an option to change it at all.
Any suggestions?
This is so retarded, i get a msg come in it opens into conversation view?. I want normal Inbox view.... that means i have to close message not open it, go to menue messaging inbox? Also wants me to reply via convo view its so tiny Nokia fix this with update disable Convo view choice??

I've never had an android phone or iPhone before so I'm having trouble figuring things out. I couldn't export all my contacts onto my sim card from my old phone because it died, so I've been trying to add them manually. My phonebook is filled with all my contacts from facebook, yet I can't see a way to edit those contacts to add a phone number.

I've only had my phone a few days and I'm trying to get everything formatted but I cannot seem to get pictures on all my contacts.In timescape and my phonebook there are only half a dozen pictures (facebook profile pictures) to my entries and plenty of people in my phonebook who have FB accounts. I've even been through and used their full names to try and help connecting the two.I don't want to add all my friends from FB to my phonebook, just include the pictures of the ones already there. There doesn't seem to be a pattern of the ones that are showing and all the others that aren't.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a bold 9700, software version=6.0 Bundle 2921.I recently downloaded the latest OS update (6 I'm assuming) the day it was released. I went to add a new contact to my phone book yesterday for the first time after I downloaded the update and it does nothing when I click it. I've tried right clicking and adding a new contact, just clicking on the new contact in the phone book. And nothing, if I click it enough it freezes my phone, and when I restart it throws me an exception about the phone book.I've taken out my battery/sim card and still doesn't work. Has to be a bug in the code since its throwing an exception.

Not the biggest problem ever, however, now my phone won't let me add new contacts. When I go to "add to contacts" nothing happens, and occasionally my phone will freeze and I have to turn it off. I have tried taking the battery out and letting the phone reboot but still nothing.

Got an X10, I just noticed that my phone number doesn't show in my Phone book anymore. I didn't have this problem when my phone was new. But ever-since I delayed my payment on my postpaid plan and my outgoing calls/sms got blocked by my provider my phone number wouldn't show up anymore. Now that I've paid up and have outgoing service again it's still not showing on my phone book.
