Aug 19, 2014I know there is a setting somewhere that you can check that says to only update/download only when WiFi is available. For the life of me, I cannot find that setting.

Huawei Nexus 6P :: Apps Will Not Update Over WiFi
Jan 17, 2016Since the latest Jan security patch, my apps will not update over wifi at home. It keeps saying downloading for ever. The moment I turn wifi off, apps download just fine on 4g.
Nexus 6p all stock and on Jan security patch. I have reset my router twice and still nothing.

Dec 2, 2014My iPhone won't update or download apps it won't recognize apps that need to be updated and won't download new or old apps and it won't ask for my iTunes password when purchasing a new app. also I'm having trouble with downloading music i have signed in and out of my iTunes account to reconnect and try going to the app itself in the app store for the updates but only show the open button.

May 11, 2011I've never been more excited to get something in the post, and when my Xoom arrived today I was ECSTATIC!However, my initial joy has turned to pure frustration, as NOTHING on the market is working correctly!
1] I can't install ANY apps from the market place, free or paid (they download SOMETIMES, then just hang with thart green status bar that slides to the left)
2] I can't update ANYTHING (not even Google Maps!!!)
3] I can't install/update ANYTHING from the web version of the Market place
I am in London, UK using a password protected Work Wifi network

Oct 18, 2011So about half an hr ago i got a prompt to update my phone to (45.2.5.en.US) and it installed successfully, then I had problems with WiFi and so restarted my phone, now when I try to access any app that requires WiFi it seems as though it doesn't read it. The browser works fine, but any other app doesn't.

Jun 21, 2012My wifi stays constantly connected after the microsoft apps update. Running latest belle on n8. Powersave mode is active, and no apps are running. I have rebooted several times, and upon reboot the wifi connects and never disconnects. I have removed any widgets that access data and the problem remains, however those widgets were there prior to the update and wifi worked normally.

Jun 8, 2011I have had a blackberry torch for a while now which i had bought in the uk, i have been living in spain since september and have been using the wifi in my house here to bbm and use all the apps etc. I recently went back to the uk to visit and came back to spain yesterday and connected to my wifi... however my bbm, email, fb, and all other apps are not working, however i can connect to the browser! I have tried various things to make it work again, for eg, pulling the battery out, taking sim in and out, making sure the data service is on! The wi fi is definitely connected as the signal bar in the right hand corner is white! Does anybody know how to make it work again, it has always worked completely fine!

Jul 9, 2015I'm trying to download assassin's creed pirates from Google play but it either says error 905, or doesn't download, i mean it stays at 0.00 mb.
I've noticed that when i use mobile data connection instead of wifi, it downloads just fine. The problem is, I can't download 1gb with mobile data because it's too expensive.
I've tried uninstalling google play store updates, cache, data, force stopping it, rebooting my phone, nothing worked. Some people told me to turn off download booster, i did but nothing happened.

Mar 22, 2015I recently updated my s5 to 4.4.4 and now apps such as snapchat, facebook, and instagram wont load. Chrome and other apps work fine. If I do put the phone on airplane mode the wifi works perfectly and also using data works perfectly.

Galaxy S6 :: Certain Apps And Functions Not Working On WiFi Only
Jan 10, 2016No matter what I do the WiFi on my Samsung Galaxy S6 does not work with certain apps and processes. It seems to be connected with Google- such as, pictures on the Play Store will not load, YouTube videos constantly are loading but never play and certain games think I am not connected to the internet at all. Things like web browsing and google search work fine however, but streaming is incredibly slow. This ONLY happens with my AT&T WiFi at home- WiFi in other locations works just fine. My WiFi signal is full strength at home. I constantly have to use my data services (T-Mobile) and everything works great then.
Here is what I already tried:
1. Changing my DNS settings to Google Server
2. Clear app data and caches
3. Uninstalling and reinstalling the apps
4. Complete factory reset of the device (and lost all my games from a corrupt backup file, with nothing working still)
When I was resetting my device, I knew the WiFi still wasn't working because when it tried to connect to my google account only and not my Samsung account (again- google seems to be where the problem happens) it was stuck at "getting info". But when I switched to data it worked.
LG G3 :: Facebook And Some Other Apps Not Working Properly On WiFi
Aug 14, 2015Weirdest thing I've ever experienced with a smart phone. EXCLUSIVELY while using the Wi-fi at my house, I am unable to see pictures and load profiles on Facebook and Instagram while on my G3. Other apps don't seem to have this issue. It all works flawlessly on any other wi-fi or while using 4G. Also, the internet here works flawlessly for every other device in my house (PC, PS4, Xbox, etc).
I can use Messenger pretty much just fine, although it takes forever to send and receive pictures through it.
What on earth could possibly cause this issue? It's ONLY on MY wi-fi, and it's ONLY those apps.

-flight mode on to stop default search on mobile network
-network sharing turned on, because i saw it on another thread, not cuz i think it will change anything but it couldnt hurt
-Intnernet settings; have created bogus account using PS DATA method, however im unsure what this is; yes 4allow local connection; have also tried this using default connection method.
-streaming settings; on default planet 3; yes for local connections
-SIP settings; unsure, left as default., is it worth putting router gateway proxy server?
-wifi settings open ntw, full bars strength, have tried using router gwty in the dns settings with no joy
I brag about how much better the w995 is then then iphone 3 & below, but now with all the frakn effort ive put into trying to set this baby up.im starting to wonder. im inclined to think this is a conflict issue between network settings & wifi, along with the web apps msgr & facebook not being compatible with wifi use, rather then an internet settings issue, as all the other iphone users & andriod users here are rubbing in how easy it is on there phone.
