Is there a way to set HDR as the default mode for camera? It almost always produces superior picture image but it's such a hassle to keep setting each time I fire up the camera app.

I'm assuming it would mean altering the way the app is coded, or possibly using and add-on type of extension for it. I'd like it to start in 'Sports' mode as this is the one I use most often, and in my haste often forget to change.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have recently updated my HTC One X to Android 4.1.1. Since the update, whenever i connect to a computer via USB, the phone is automatically going into USB Debugging Mode. The never used to happen before the update. Earlier it used to give me options about what I want to do when a USB is connected.I have tried disabling Debugging option from "developer options" in setting. It does not work. As soon as I connect it next time, it goes into debugging mode.

And after which when i searched for earlier month messages i found that those are missing and I cannot able to find it else where. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded my Nokia N73 to the E72 and am very very disappointed with the picture quality of the camera.
It does not appear to be the same quality as the Carl Zeiss lens of my old N73 and many pictures seem to be out of focus. It has annoying habit of when i try to take a quick snap of continually asking me to chose a shooting mode and the therefore the moment has gone. I also use this camera function for my work and unless I can find advice on taking better quality pics then it will have to go back.Is mine a faulty unit or is there a knack of taking a picture without the camera moving which I think is causing part of the problems.
So i realized or maybe I'm just missing it, that there is no zoom function on the default camera but i have ProCapture and it lets me zoom... So is the camera technically not supposed to zoom or what? I also don't understand why no one else has mentioned this because i couldn't find anything about it.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSome users have complained that the default filter of all pictures taken with their iPhone 5 camera has mysteriously changed to one or the other of the various filters available other than "none" (i.e., usual full-color) version they want. I can't find that string again, hence this new item.Â
I had the same problem, and believe I have solved it this way:Â
1. Take a picture. Â
2. Find it the usual way in Photos - Camera Roll. Presumably it's the wrong filter.Â
3. Click on Edit. Click on the intertwined-color-circles icon at the bottom to reveal all the filters.Â
4. Scroll over to None and change it to that. Save the picture.Â
5. Key thing (I think): REBOOT YOUR PHONE. (I happen to do it by pressing the on-off button at the top and the depressed home key at the bottom a the same time; do it however you wish.)Â
6. When you next shoot a photo, it should be in "None" mode (as the default).Â

I also can't view them with my Xperia Gallery viewer. Can't change save path to SD card.

I have also noticed that the Image Sequence setting is ON and Im unable to change this setting.Have tried hard reset and have upgraded to latest 10.5 software. I started the camera on my Curve 8330 by touching the right side key and took a picture. When I tried to exit by hitting the back key, it remained stuck in camera mode, forcing me to battery pull. My OS is 5.0.0.438. What can cause this?
I purchased the iphone 5s 1 month before, but now when I start to use phone camera in video mode or when I use skype for video calling, phone is getting too hot.

I'm running the latest Cyanogenmod 13 nightly on my Nexus 6P, without gapps. Unfortunately, I do not have an HDR option in the camera (tried AOSP and Google camera).
I already flashed the vendor.img from Google. What I could do? I do not want to install gapps.
My problem is in the video recording mode..when i'm in the middle of recording,the motion in the screen moves slowly for about half a second..and sometimes it stucks before it went back normal and then again stuck...i'm terribly angry when i'm recording the precious moment of my child's first step walking...i'm using the high quality setting and when i used the normal setting,the problem is gone but the picture is not good as the high quality setting.......

View 1 Replies View RelatedAccording to the Android Documentation, Camera.Parameters, the FOCUS_MODE_FIXED should usually set the camera focus to a hyperfocal mode, which should cover most of the focusable area. Testing with it however reveals that on my Xperia Neo, it is equal to FOCUS_MODE_INFINITE, which means that not a lot besides the sky and far-far away buildings are in focusable area.
Testing with a simple scene with different distances, it seems that in infinite setting, even stuff at some 30 meters (haven't measured exactly, but it's far away under cealing) is unfocused.

Is there still a way to get it into proper hyperfocal setting?
The reason I'm asking this is to be able to put the camera into car and have it stay at a fixed focus, since vibrations of the car distract the continuous autofocus.
When in camera mode, you can't select the last photo taken (in the bottom right hand corner).. The photo doesn't come to full screen...
