I have my MT3G unlocked to use any SIM I want. With the current SIM, the phone always starts up with a message saying for me to enter the PIN. Gets annoying. Is there a way to deactivate this?

When I go to the 'screen lock type' screen, it does not offer Swipe or None, they are there but in lightened font. just want to return the phone to no lock. I was able to remove the fingerprints but now the Screen Lock Type screen only offers pattern, pin, password or fingerprints. I want None...but it is in lightened font and says "Turned off by administrator, encryption policy or credential storage.

But I'd rather not have it lock at all.The help file indicated that PASSWORD could be disabled, but that does not work for me. I'm looking at Options > Security Options > General Setting.There's a password ENABLED field, but I can't change it, there is a little teeny tiny red lock icon next to the field.
I changed the security timeout to 30, and that helps.
Can anyone tell me how to disable the password lock?
My iphone was stolen and i put a lock on it from find my iphone, now that i got it back its says IPHONE IS DISABLED CONNECT TO ITUNES. When i connect it to itunes it says it cant access it because the iphone is locked with a passcode. There is no option to enter a passcode.

I own an Xperia X8 since yesterday and find very annoying this screen lock that automaticly turns on some seconds after the screen timeout expires. The user's guide doesn't seem to mention the possibility of disabling that. I'm an intermediate cell phone user, have been using an SE K800i for years, don't know anything about Android but I'm curious about that (my first impression is that the phone isn't as user-friendly as the K800i, maybe it takes some time to get accustomed).

Input language shortcut: ALT-ENTER
Enable Quick Selection: YES
But it still locks the keyoad whenever I try this

Now that I have removed the account I still had to enter the 6 digit pin code to unlock the screen...

Sidenote: What was Apple thinking with this feature? avoid a couple of taps before being able to access the camera. Having it available on the lock screen defeats security. I prefer security.

Please see attached screenshot for the issue I am having. Note that the wallpaper used in that screenshot is 100% pure black, but appears grey.
If I change the screen lock to "swipe", it is pure black, but I prefer to have the security of the fingerprint...
My device IS ROOTED and I have xposed/custom ROM installed, and I am sure there must be a config file or something that I could modify to remove this tinting that is occurring.
i was downloading sum application or just going through my fone when i got a txt...it usually makes a noise .... but vibrated...no sound would work....or Internet...people wud kall me nd it wud jus vibrate..i had to restart my fone to make my sounds work nd to get Internet to work.....anybody know why my apps nd my sound didnt work until restart???

The phone will not allow me to disable the password function. Beside where it says Password: there is a red lock symbol and the word Enabled. I have disabled the power button to immediately lock the phone. Every time I open my phone I still have to take the extra step to slide to unlock even though the phone is technically not locked. This is just an extra annoying step. Is there any way to skip the slide to unlock step?
