It seems most of the mods are 1.6. I was wondering if there are any Android 2.x ROMs that run at least as fast as 1.6. I don't want a ROM at the expense of the phone running noticeably slower.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've got a LG g3 running Android 5.0 and wifi speeds are drastically reduced if the bluetooth is turned on. Bluetooth doesn't need to be connected to anything, if it's on my speeds are down to about 0.2Mbps and with Bluetooth off they're around 25 Mbps. I've tried a factory reset but didn't make a difference.

I can't seem to find a call log anywhere? When I hit the phone symbol, it brings up the 'speed dial' screen with the most frequently called contacts, but there doesn't seem to be the typical call history with calls made, missed calls etc....or at least I can't find it!! I missed a few calls today and after the notification disappeared I can't find the numbers again!

I've tried wiping the data in the apps manager. It worked fine in 1.6 and I can't remember if I've ever tried it on 2.1.
SE should really unpack this from their phones and offer it on the market keeping it free for SE users, it's a really great piece of software! but then again it would probably make this "authentication" problem more common for SE users if the phone HAS to autheticate it. Ah well..
I just bought z3 dual and just moved from windows to android. I am pretty new to android os and I am honestly liking it a alot.
However, I am really disappointed by the battery performance of z3. The phone is running android lollipop the latest.
i unlocked my screen and opened up the sms app. The screen went totally black and Android running in the back ground. The phone vibrates when i touch the screen but no respons from the screen. I booted it with vol+power button, did not work. I ran the sony connect application on my pc and got the phone reset and upgraded my software.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI currently have an unlocked Nexus 6 running latest build of 5.1 on Verizon right now since Sunday. However I can't get the Nexus to show in my Android Device Manager. The Nexus does show in Google Play. I have cleared cache and data from Device Manager app, I have uninstalled and re installed Device Manager as well. I have went into Google settings>Security and toggled on and off "Remotely locate this device" and "Allow remote lock and erase". I have powered down and on this device several times. I have removed my Google account and then resigned back into the account. I just can't think of anything else to do. I have searched online for this problem and have done everything that was told to me. I am hoping not to factory reset the device but if its the last result, I may not have a choose.
P.S. Is there a setting that I'm missing that has either Gmail or Inbox app retrieve emails quicker. It doesn't seem to be refreshing or pushing the emails to my phone very often. I have missed couple very important emails because of this. Not sure if its a related problem with the device manager situtation (doubt it).
I just got a Nexus 6 running Android 5.1.1 Today I added my personal email account and my work email account to the phone. When I tried to remove my work email account, the option to remove is not there. I've gone into accounts and selected the account that I want to remove and the option is just not there. The same for my personal account too. How can I remove this email account from my phone?

I receive this error when I try to add a card in Android Pay: "Android Pay cannot be used: Google is unable to verify that your device of the software running on it is Android compatible". I tried disabling root entirely and using RootCloak (Xposed) to hide root from Android Pay and Google Wallet, but I still can't use Pay. Wallet still works as it always has.

View 3 Replies View RelatedNow i m using official 4.0.4 based custom Rom,i have used all custom roms....(also check Cm9) But problem in official 4.0.4 based custom Rom is that Notification up and Down is lagging and 3d games are not smooth like Temple Run,Modern combact, gta 3,etc.. Running official 4.0.4 is like i m running Nokia 5233 i also overclock cpu 1ghz to 1.8ghz for increase fps for games and fix otification laggyness but overclock alteast not helpful... i also check Cm9..it is 2x smooth ui and games also...Temple run is run like super gingerbread.. but the problem in CM9 is that video recorder not working so thats why i m not using... If Cm9 runs smooth on this device so why official 4.0.4 is not smooth...

I don't know if I'm the only one but for some reason my s6 is lagging like crazy when scrolling down emoji it's not smooth at all and I don't remember how it was when I got it but I know that it stays the same no matter what rom or kernel. Otherwise the phone is very smooth and fast especially on custom kernels and Roms even the benchmark shows nothing unusual.

Stock roms and custom roms.Since doing so, I have a really awful signal and quite often no signal at all.Could I have done something to cause this or is it probably just a coincidence?I am with 3 uk.I can't go out seeing if it improves in other areas as I am currently ill. I am currently on KI3 2.3.5 and the problem was and still is on the last 4 or so roms I have flashed.

I'm aware that there is an app which tries to emulate it but it's nowhere near as intuitive or as integrated.
With the free Nav and great Nav screen, I am enjoying Ovi Maps. My only gripe with the software is that in Map mode (not in navagation mode), panning is not smooth or accurate. It seems to be delayed and it also pans in the opposite direction once your finger is lifted. It's not much of an issue since I use Google Maps for map purposed, but it would be nice is panning where smoother on Ovi Maps. Are others experiencing this as well? Is there a way to make it smoother?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been using the smooth calendar widget on my Electrify for a few months. I love how easy it used to sync with my online Google Calendar. Now I notice that when I look at the monthly view of the calendar, it shows no appointments/tasks beyond mid-May. If I click on any date on the calendar, it will go to my agenda and show the appointments. The appointments/tasks do appear online on my Google calendar.
I want to be able to see that I have appointments on specific dates on the monthly calendar at a quick glance. I don't want to have to scroll through the agenda to view them. I don't know what happened to change my view.
I don't know if I need to change a setting on my Electrify or if I need to change a setting online on my Google calendar.
My droid X2 shows colors in gradient type , but the same picture looks super smooth on my laptop, I dont understand , is it the phone supports 8 bit of colors or my phone is defective.

Problem is, unless I can figure out how to extract the AOSP keyboard from either of those to replace this lacking Google keyboard without the longpress punctuation, I'm going to need to go back. In the past it was as easy as extracting the LatinIME.apk but apparently I've been in cold storage because the ROM zips look nothing like they used to.
So, how I can extract the keyboard apk from our 6P's roms?
