I have plenty of internal and SD memory available. I don't like my phones to have a lot of garbage apps, I only keep apps I use on a daily basis, so there's not a lot of junk apps on there slowing it down. I've deleted any applications I'm not using.
View 5 RepliesOk so I just got the incredible today. My first Droid phone. I m trying to record and send video via text message. Two things here. 1st the video at 30 secs long seems to be too big to send. I have tried recording it in both formats and at the lowest settings..Any thoughts on how to make it smaller? I was able to send video up to a minute long on my Blackberry so not sure what the problem here is.

View 7 Replies View RelatedThis morning my iPhone 4 became a little sluggish in unlocking, opening apps, and sliding from one screen to the next. After a couple of hours it seemed to slow down altogether with a lot of delay as I tried to operate various functions. I did notice that it seemed to open the calendar and the invitations menu on its own. Now, at the end of the day, I can't unlock it at all, nor can I operate the slider to power off. It is simply not responding to anything except the home button to switch on the screen and the sleep button to put the screen to sleep. I installed IOS 5.1 a couple of days ago.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe phone ran great for the first 2 weeks, now it's taking it's sweet time for several things. It's acting ok now, but I have moments where it takes 10+ seconds to go to sleep or resume, some apps get stuck loading, and delayed actions when tapping/swiping on the screen. I turned off bluetooth for now, but it ran fine last week so I don't really think it's the issue.
Surely it can't be the My Little Pony game. It's the only thing I have added to the phone in the last week.
I have looked at other threads and I do not have touch or glance installed at all, so those can't be causing it.
I've noticed for some time now that the screen of my Defy gets really sluggish, even non-responsive, when the charger cable is plugged in.
I can't even answer calls because of that. I haven't upgraded the OS to 2.2 yet.
I've been using SwiftKey as long as I remember on my old phones. I expected the s6 to run very smoothly with it but the opposite is true for me. Swipe to delete words barely works and typing is laggy and sluggish most of the time. Predictions are bad and I haven't found a way to make it work better.

I charge my Defy when I go to bed. When I hit the power button first thing in the morning, the phone response to touch, click, etc.is all slowed down. This goes away when I turn off the phone and turn it back on, but I'm lazy and don't want to reboot every day. (I normally reboot every 3-5 days)

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got my incredible yesterday, and spent the whole day checking out apps, importing my pics, vids, and contacts from my Dare, all that good stuff.Most of what I did was done on Wi-Fi, and it was good. Today, I wake up, and my Wi-Fi is not able to connect to anything. I changed nothing, but to be sure, I reconnected to my router. To be EXTRA sure, I'm writing this to you on a computer hooked up to this same router.
My 3G works fine. Any ideas? I tried a different router. Same problem. I get the "A network error has occurred. Retry, or cancel and return to the previous screen" message in the market, and a connection error message in any browser.
I'm seriously looking into jumping from the iPhone 3g to the Incredible. I've had my iPhone for almost 2 years and I love it. With the announcement of OS 4.0 I was a little disappointed with the lack of new features thats going to be included. Pretty much all the features are available now if you decided to jailbreak the iPhone.My ATT contract is up in a few months and i'm due for a new phone now but I'm going to wait and see what iPhone 4 has to offer before I finally make a decision. Just wondering if anyone jumped from an iPhone to the Incrediable and their thoughts on it.

Of course, it seems the majority of them do not work 100% with the Incredible.I tried using a pair of Klipsch in-ear buds, but the volume controls did not work, as they were made for the iPhone 3GS. The sound was really great, and at $100, a nice investment that comes with a 2 year warranty.
Anyone have any suggestions for a pair that will work 100% with the Incredible? I just feel like I'm not getting my money worth if I get a pair that doesnt completely work with the phone. leaves me a bit annoyed that they didn't just come with a set in the first place.
I'm a relatively new Incredible owner. I came from an Eris which was a nice enough phone but it was stuck with a hopelessly slow processor. As we all know, the Incredible came with 2.1. Any word on when we'll be getting Froyo? And I hope it's not as buggy as the 1.6->2.1 OTA update for the Eris! That was a nightmare. Almost everyone who did the OTA upgrade with the Eris had some kind of problem. Maybe the Eris' processor wasn't really up to the 2.1 software.I don't know, but it was a complete disaster. Here's hoping that the 2.1->2.2 update is glitch-free.

View 15 Replies View RelatedIs anyone else having a problem with the alarm on the Incredible? If I set it, all works well until I "cancel" (not dismiss or snooze). Then, it will not ring ever again unless I change the alarm to a new time and then reset the alarm.It is not something a do often, but if I take a day off in the week and don't want the alarm waking me at 5:15 AM, I de-click the alarm. When I re-click it so that it will ring M-F at the same time, no alarm goes off the next day. I have to change it to another time, let it go off, then reset it back to 5:15 to get it to ring.

At first I thought it was the other partys problem, but its definately my phone. Called Verizon Tech support and they said there is a known speaker issue with this phone. (She didnt know what the exact issue was) Tech said HTC and Google are working on it and it should be fixed in a software update. I would assume it is the 2.2 update.

Its not in the list, and the messages from her dont show up in my notifications. The only way I can read them is if i click the "send message" button on her name in my phonebook and it shows the previous messages, otherwise I cant find it. I have noticed that a couple of days ago the Uploading Data icon has appeared at the top of my phone but I can't figure out what is uploading and how to shut it off and today I went past my data limit which I never do this soon into my pay period.

I swapped it out with Verizon already and same issue. Been working with Jawbone with several units sent and even another model. Try a Samsung phone and it works great. Verizon says there is nothing else they can do at this point. They get HTC tech support on the phone and the end result was a clear "keep buying headsets until you find one that works". Really?

My network provider (Orange UK) say it is a OS fault, but Car Phone Warehouse who i bought the phone from belive it is a network fault. However reading on the web a few people are reporting the same on other networks.
