When I get my new iP4 I want to restore from that iPod Touch backup because it has many apps I use for studying including the settings which I definitely need. Is there a way to restore just the apps? How would/could I restore at least the one app with data that I really need?

When I restored the iPhone from backup (Right click on the iphone in the side of iTunes, select "restore from backup"), all the settings synced and so did the Movies and Music. ALL MY APPS DID NOT SYNC.
I have not restored my iPod Touch yet, so my question is, What do I need to do to make my iPhone identical to my iPod Touch?

I have had my work email address added to my Blackberry smartphone. Through this proccess all the data on my phone was lost.
However I made a backup using Blackberry Desktop Manager. When I restore the backup I made, none of the contacts are added back to my phone.
Just bought a BB Storm 2, 9520. But i find something doesn't seem right, but not exactly sure if it's a problem or it's just the design of the phone. Please enlighten me on this.The touch screen of my phone doesn't seem "fix" like other touch screen phone. The feel of touching the BB screen is like pressing a button where it'll "depress" when u press the screen. Is this normal for this phone?

Since i lost all my contacts from my phone i need it badly.
I am having 356 contacts totally, all ar opening like same in some encoded format.
I have a Bold 9780. Yesterday I accidently deleted 1 contact that had very important info in Notes section. Last back up was in Jan 2012 and have lots of info/contacts, etc on Blackberry so I would prefer to backup current to date; I just backed up a few minutes ago (so now have 2 backups saved on my desktop); however still need that contact with that info. Can I retrieve only that contact info anywhere, even if I just see it and write it out?

I have backed up all bbm contacts wirelessly via an email account. The problem is my Torch 9810 crashed (JVM error 545) which had forced me to wipe out the device and load new OS before I back up my bbm contact wirelessly on the new device. I have also backed up to my pc via Blackberry Desktop Software and Blacberry Protect but when I restore it didn't restore BBM contacts only phonebook contact.I thought I can restore using my email on this Torch but no.its also seems to be linked to my PIN number. Thus, when i try to restore using my email it said "no account linked to this email" :-(

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've just gotten a Bold 9700 and noticed that even though I have the option to sync the profile pictures of my friends with my contacts profiles on the phone, the pictures for my phone contacts remain blank. The Facebook profiles are linked to my contacts and sometimes will show the Facebook profile picture but after a while the picture reverts to a blank icon again. I've also unselected the option to sync and re-enabled the option to update Blackberry contacts with my Facebook contacts to try and force the pictures to update but no success.
I was thinking that it might also be because of a conflict wiyth other apps trying to update the contact pictures seeing as I originally imported all my contatcs from my Gmail account but I am unable to figure out which other apps, if any, are updating contact pics and thereby turn them off.
Blackberry contacts linked to a LinkedIn profile show their LinkedIn profile pics correctly though and other than that I only have BB Messenger, GTalk, Windows Live Messenger and Facebook that are linked to my Blackberry contacts.Any ideas on how I can get my contacts' pictures to sync correctly with Facebook?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI reset my all my settings on my iphone 4s. thats where the trouble began. It then asked me to set it up as a new phone or restore it. I chose to restore it. I went about restoring as usual, but after the restoration, when it reset, the apple logo appeared and thats it. The phone never started up properly again. When I try to get past it and sync, it goes through most of the sync steps and then the phone resets itself. I've tried most avenues for fixing this. If i just set it up as a new phone will for now and then try to restore it from a back up will i loose all of my data, music, photos, etc?

I recently bought a factory-unlocked 32gb S6 (g920i) and spent the past few weeks setting up my applications, launcher, etc. For reasons that are not pertinent to my question, I've decided to return the S6 and replace it with a 32gb S6Edge (g925i).
Is there a way I can COMPLETELY clone all the apps, data, and settings between the two phones? I understand that the phones are close to identical but I suspect it is not safe to restore an S6 backup onto an S6Edge. Am I right about that? Assuming this is the case how can I preserve all my settings?
When I bought the S6 I migrated from a Moto X and it did a good job of installing my apps but none of the app-specific data or settings got transferred. Will SmartSwitch do this or do I need something like Helium?
This is going to sound absolutely ridiculous, but I have the horrible habit of picking at the ring that holds the trackball into place. Usually, I'll remove it and the trackball while the phone is off to clean the area when the trackball sticks.However today the ring popped off during my nervous habit and I touched the led while the phone was on. I was just wondering if this is bad in anyway? Everyone keeps telling me it's just a light, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

When i use the touch screen either calling a number, writing a text or anything, it aint always so responsive.

I have the G920F, I was wondering if there is a way to re-calibrate the touch screen, the issue I am having is on some games such as boom beach where i have to tap a certain little part of the screen and sometimes I am having to tap 3/4 times before it seems to register, on my older s4 this was perfect and registered first go every time.
