May 16, 2012Problem Description I was in a middle of a workout with the MOTOACTV. It was connected wirelessly to my heart rate monitor. During the workout the UI became high latency and almost completely unresponsive. It would take 3 4 presses to the Power Key to get the device to wake up. When device did wake up, the CapTouch UI would not accept any swipe or touch gestures. I finally was able to power the device down hoping for a graceful reset. However I was concerned that I was never going to get to the point of getting to the power down screen. seen this issue on other Android devices and know that there are times when a battery pull is needed due to a deadlock or a process gone haywire.

Feb 12, 2010I just bought the new Nokia 5233 phone.Whenever the phone is locked and I set a alarm. There is no way i can stop the alaram other than to reset the alarm manually by alarms-> edit.
There will be two touch buttons that apper on the otuch screen. One to stop and other to snooze the alarm. Even If press them, it wont work. The alaram keeps ringing. I even tried clicking on the green button and the menu botton at the bottom. Still no use. I cant even unlock the phone. Only thing i can do is press the red button at the end, which will snooze the alarm. After this, I have to manually change the alarm time.
The same thing happens even with phone calls. I cannot use the touch button that apper on the touch screen. I have to use the green and red button at the bottom.These problem come into picture only if the phone is locked. Otherwise it works fine.

Mar 30, 2010I posted this in the wrong forum earlier like an idiot. If you see it please disregard. I didn't know how to get it deleted, I'm still a newbie as if you couldn't tell. My Sprint Touch Pro's touchscreen slowly died today. And I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what I should do. I bought it on eBay and apparently the warranty is non-transferable so that's void. I have it on Boost so I'm guessing going to Sprint is out of the question also.

When I go to the home screen, and click the menu, then options, it gives me settings for Home Scren Preferences. But there are no owner options. Just home screen preferences. I was told that if my phone dies or if I need to change my ESN on my account for any reason that they would change my account billing (I'm no longer under contract) to reflect Verizon pricing.This was not an issue with my two Treos (some of you my know of my VZW to ROW thread) as it was easy to "juggle" numbers (aka I had a backup phone that only had to be turnd on ).
If anyone is able to point me in the right direction on a CDMA Nexus One (If ever released ) or PM me with radio information on how to backup the radio and restore it I would be forever grateful!

May 25, 2012I got my iPhone this christmas and never registered on my computer until today.I have an iPod touch which is registered to the same computer which I keep all my music on.When I was setting up my phone on my computer when I lost EVERYTHING! I hit restore from Katie Hunt's Ipod touch, which I thought would only transfer my music over.But it transfered all the stuff on my iPod to my phone and earsed everything in my phone. I lost all my contacts, pictures, videos, notes, and ringtones. I really want all of my stuff back before I restored it.I called apple and they wanted to charge me 60 dollars since my free 90 days of tech support were up.The man told me to search the internet, for my problem because he said this has happened before but wouldnt tell me how to fix it.

Jul 3, 2012I need to upgrade my late husband's iPhone iOS because some apps are no longer working with the iOS version.The last upgrade was done in 2010, to v4.1. My problem is that I do not want to risk losing anything on this iPhone, for sentimental reasons.I have transferred purchased items through iTunes to keep all the apps.Can someone please walk me through the steps required to make sure I lose no information presently on the iPhone when I upgrade? I want to make sure the text messages, photos (camera roll and albums) and contacts are intact.Calendar is not necessary.
