View 2 RepliesWhen playing a song I get a white notification block saying:
"Music temporarily unavailable.
Couldn't play the stream you requested"
DONE
Been having this error on/off for a month now. Sometimes it works on wi-fi but not on cell, most of the times not at all.
Right now at home I can play from my other devices (win7-pc, chromecast, Nexus10) without problems. I can browse music fine on the phone and play moview works fine - so the account is not the problem.
All hits I've had searching gave just different settings to try with caching, dl'ing etc. They are to no avail. Tried all combinations.
Where is the camera used for video calling located

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the same issue running stock marshmallow.
I make a call and always theres a delay then I have to say hello again before they hear me.
Read it could be that I am on 4g and it gas to switch but don't recall this on my lg g3.
I know this may be speculation but this may be the deal breaker for me to get the next phone. I have a child off to college pretty soon who uses skype video regularly with her friends and I will assume with me also. I have actually gotten the skype video to work on my little Nokia N79 fairly well and would like my next phone to also have this capability so I can talk with her when she's away but I am not near my computer.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I'm on a stock 5.1.1 and updated to the latest Google Photos version, which I think screws with my devices HW acceleration. Basically , after updating I can't watch any HD videos without the frames stuttering, the screen sometimes blacks out in middle of viewing videos as well. Searching around I found that more people experience this, but it isn't that widespread. The problem goes away if I revert the update.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI don't remember this being an issue with any phone prior. I've had a video on here since Friday. Just a 30 second clip of my daughter riding a carousel at the mall. I can't get it to backup. I've set it to mobile and wifi, I've set it to wifi only, I've tried forcing the backup. Nothing. The pics have backed up just fine. But not this one video.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Nexus 6 running 6.0.1 now, and am subscribed to Google Music, Red, and all that comes with it.
My issue is, after the App & OS updated, my saved offline videos have just recently gone into playing the next video automatically. So for instance, if I want to fall asleep at night watching a single 45 minute video, the whole darn list will play, and sooner or later, it gets to that head banging music video, and I wake up.
Have a problem with audio sounds no working? I.e videos, games.... How to fix this. It's happened to me before. I've restarted the phone multiple times, and still not sound.
View 2 Replies View RelatedGot the new Nexus 5 and found that flash video playing is totally incompatible with the Android 4.4 Kitkat, no t in Dolphin, not in Firefox and other browsers. This is too bad and I can't imagine it just happened.
I digged into the code since then and found that some critical APIs have been removed from Android 4.4 that flash uses.

After several days of coding, I finally found a way out with a hacked flash player. Being so excited and i can't wait wo share it. Here is the guide about how to install the hacked one and how to play flash content in the sites in Dolphin Browser.
1) Download Dolphin Browser
Surprised, Dolphin just push a 10.2.0 update version to me and I found Dolphin Jetpack was built-in. This means you don't have to install 2 separate APK now.
Here is the Download Link: [URL] .....
Warning: [/B]You must have Dolphin Jetpack on in the settings to enjoy it. As far as I have noticed, Dolphin Jetpack better solves the compatibility with flash player, such as crash issue & freeze issue in full screen.
2) Download the hacked flash player HERE
Warning: Make sure that you have uninstall the flash player installed in your device and then install the hacked one for compatibility reason.
If your devices refused to install apk outside Google Play, you may set in your device (Settings> Securities> Unknown resources) to allow installation of apps from unknown sources.
3) Make sure that the flash setting in Dolphin Browser (Click Menu>Settings>Web Content>Flash Player) is on.
Flash Player is not officially supported and therefore the speed of loading of flash video may be slow. However, I have tried many sites such as YouTube and Hulu. They all work properly with satisfactory results.
I have installed super beam to my nexus 5 mobile . Earlier I was using superbeam to send video files but now am facing an issue sending video files since super beam is crashing after clicked send button.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOn my G3 I had the option of trimming videos which I had recorded. I can't remember if I ever had this functionality on my N5 (kitkat), but on my new N6 there's no such option. The edit option in the Photos app doesn't do anything with videos. Is this the same for everyone, and if so, what are you using to trim video footage.

View -1 Replies View RelatedI recently got the Nexus 6 and shot a few videos in 4k and when playing them back, the videos are choppy, laggy. It's not terrible but definitely noticeable. I have seen other videos shot with this phone and they look perfect and professional.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI use my S3 a lot to take videos then play them on our TV. Is it possible with the Nexus 6? I am thinking about upgrading, and being able to play youtube and recorded videos on the big screen would make my decision a lot easier.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm not able to free up photo/video storage on my device - Nexus 5 running 5.1. I've deleted all photos and videos off the device itself. When I check "storage", I still see 1.7GB of storage being used under "Pictures, videos". When I click on "Pictures, Videos" in storage, there are no files. When I look in the "photos" app, again there are no files under "on device". The trash has been emptied. I rebooted the phone. No luck. Auto back-up is on, but as I stated, none of the photos are stored locally at this point. How do I free up this mysterious use of space?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI shattered the screen on my Nexus 6 the other day and the screen is totally black, just a few bleeps of light if I connect/disconnect to computer, that's it. The problem is, when I connect to my computer via USB, the Nexus 6 shows up in my drives, but there's no files showing at all so I can't download all the pics/videos off of it, it only charges. I assume this is because it's not in MTP mode? But I can't switch it on since I can't even see the screen. The phone itself works apart from the screen being dead, rings for calls, texts, charges and even bluetooth connects to my car when I start it up. I just can't view the files on my computer to download them .
how to get all these pics/videos off of this thing? I have my daughters last 6 months of her life on this phone, including her recent birthday part etc...etc.. and I really need to get all that downloaded somehow before I even think of sending it in for a replacement. One thing that came to mind is mirroring it to another device which I read online, possibly with Chromecast or via another type of cable but I'm not sure if I could actually operate the phone in order to put it into MTP mode that way though.
Ive bad the Nexus 6 since the day it came out but just now got into the 4k video recording and i shot a few videos in 4k and when playing them back, the videos are choppy, laggy and auto focuses many times (does not look as good as 4k should). It's not terrible but definitely noticeable. I have seen other videos shot with this phone on youtube and they look perfect and professional. Much more clear and colorful and flowing smoothly. get mine looking like 4k should such as certain apps or settings? I'm having a kid soon and want to use my phone for recording instead of a camcorder.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI noticed that when I play video through you tube and the ones that I receive on whatsapp didn't utilize the full screen of the Nexus 6.
There is a lot of black dead space in the videos taking away the advantage of the big screen. I see these videos occupying the full space of the iPhone 6 and 6 plus

How come if I am in "picture mode" of the camera and then switch to "video" it zooms in. What would normally be in the frame for a picture is cropped so much for video.....

View 10 Replies View RelatedI just picked up a nexus 6 last Friday. The back camera won't open.
It started doing this right before I couldn't open it anymore.
Error occurs when I try to switch to panoramic camera mode. To recover camera after that I clear cache and data and reboot phone, then I can use the front and rear facing cameras in snapshot mode.
The error also occurs running other apps such as my bank's app to take a photo of a check to deposit. In that case I need to reboot phone to stop the continuous error message "Cannot connect to camera".
I've had a previous issue where my Nexus 6 would not connect to the camera at all even in snapshot mode, but after a couple of factory resets and a few days, the camera worked again, but apparently not in panoramic mode.
Since the camera works at least in in snapshot mode, I'm wondering if this is software or if it is a hardware issue. Phone is still under 1 year factory warranty.
I've owned the nexus 4 and the nexus 5 now, I've always noticed something funny that happens with people I talk to about my phone (I also work at a phone kiosk). When people ask my opinion and want to know what phone do I personally use I say "The Nexus".. The responses I get are always " the Lexus?? ", "is that better than the galaxy" "is it made by Samsung", " how many megapixels is the camera"
Once a while I get a customer that has a nexus or knows all about it..those customers always have my full respect! But its funny that most people think galaxy is android.
