Is there a way to downgrade base band versions like from G920FXXU3 to G920FXXU2? Because im having this error when flashing through ODIN "sw rev check fail system 3 binary 2". Im not sure if it is really the cause.
It just happened randomly, not the phone just keeps saying searching and nothing happens Its a verizon model, and I can see the bluetooth and Wifi address.
As of Yesterday, I was able to access the band selection mode on my S6 by keying in *#2263#. However, it seems that I am no longer able to do that. Why this is the case, and is there any alternatives to accessing this function? I received a software update this morning, so I am wondering if that had anything to do with it.
When you are playing a song on the factory installed Google Play Music app or any other app with an equalizer or when using a separate equalizer and you increase any of the bands in the equalizer, the overall volume of the song drops.
To easily reproduce the problem, start playing a song on the Google Play Music app, go to settings, select equalizer, select advanced. Set the equalizer bands to flat (in the middle settings for all bands). While a song is playing, raise any equalizer band and the overall volume of the song goes down dramatically, like by half. This is especially noticeable as you increase the 16k slider. This is not how equalizers should work. A working equalizer should amplify the band you increased but leave the volume on all other bands the same and thus not lower the overall volume of the song. This is happening with all equalizer apps I've installed (besides the stock Music FX and SoundAlive equalizers) and I've seen the exact thing happen with three other equalizer apps on this phone, so it seems like a specific Samsung Galaxy S5 problem.
I recently upgraded to 5.1.1 on Telus and now I am having the network connectivity issues that have been reported on other threads. Specifically, when I am on WiFi and have LTE enabled, all phone calls go directly to voicemail when someone tried to call. If I turn of LTE it seems to work fine.
I am assuming it's an issue with LTE and 5.1.1 so any way to downgrade to 5.0.2
Its my first time on galaxy s6 here. for months i had the 5.0.2 firmware original, nothing changed, perfect. it was really fastest. But when it comes out the 5.1.1 update, problems started. really bad battery life (i never had this problem), more lags un the transition animations, i can confirm this because for four moths i never had lag where now there are prominently. So now I decide to come back to a rom/firmware with the 5.0.2 (0 problems in that firmware).
My charging base for the AINO has one of its hook which locks the phone/BT onto for charging is broken... anyone know how to get a replacement for that part? and is it covered by the oneyear warrenty?
I have the multimedia base (desktop cradle) for my Droid X. Every time I click on the 'home' button it goes to the home screen for the MultiMedia Base, and not the regular Droid home menu. This is a pain, because every time I want to use an app, I first have to press the 'X' on the MultiMedia home screen to get to the regular Droid menu. The worst thing about the Multimedia menu, is that on many phone calls I recieve while the phone is in the Multimedia base, when I 'X' out of the menu, it goes to the Droid menu and not to the Answer Phone window...by the time i get to the menu to answer the phone the caller is gone.
I have a G920F with latest firmware COI6 (Poland). Is it possible to downgrade from COI6 to COH2?Flashing thw firmware via Odin always fails.I tried with Skipsoft Unified Toollit but i'm not sure if i did it right.Started to flash but failed and softbricked my phone. The only reason that i want to downgrade is to root without tripping knox.I can't find a guide to delete hidden.img from tar file.Maybe i have to rename it but i'm not sure...
...(Time Capsule i.e.). It does not connect to the allocated Airport Express Stations in my house (3G connectivity is just fine). No such problems with my new iPad and Macbook as the do connect to the nearest Airport Express or Timecapsule..
My Wifi Base is a TimeCapsule and I have 2 allocated Airport Express stations to extend the range within the house...
I think I am having GPS problems with the latest BOGG baseband, I intend to try to downgrade to 5.0.2 baseband, I am not sure if this is possible or not. I know that you cannot downgrade from 5.1.1 ROM to 5.0.2 ROM, but not sure about baseband.
I know that there is this engineering bootloader that keep safe the knox status if you want to mod the phone. My question is simple, if i install this particular bootloader, i'll have root and custom recovery, is it possible to install a rom/custom rom/ stock firmware with the 5.0.2?
I'm trying to connect to an Airport base station that has a 6-letter password, but my BlackBerry insists that it must have 6 or 10 digit hexadecimal password or something like that, and won't accept when I enter the correct password—it won't even try to connect! Is it me or is this a ludicrous problem? I've searched everywhere and can't find a solution. Changing the base station password is not an option because it's shared by a lot of people.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G901F (Unlocked) and yesterday I updated the OS to Lolipop using Odin.
Since that update I have signal issues (No service most of the time) and I want to downgrade it do KitKat then update it with the official version of Lolipop using Kies. Am I going to be able to do this?
Since the phone is available in the US, Hong Kong, UK and Singapore. Does that mean there are 4 different versions? What are the software and hardware differences?
I am a newbie, and I read the post advising all to state what model you had and the software on it.I have the 8520 smartphone and from the menu >options I have no ABOUT to go to and nothing obvious in my general options that would lead me to my phone spec.
If I go into the "Mobile Network Engineering Screens" menu and then into "Cell Information..." the bandmode is set to "GSM850" which is causing me to get SOS. How do I change the bandmode to GSM900? I've tried clicking on GSM800 and selecting "All" but when I back to the menu and then back into Cell Information it changes back to GSM850.
I know you can create your own ringtones if you use garage band. However, if one doesn't have a mac what is the easiest way to create ring tones? or is there a site to find some?
I've somehow disabled the feature in Safari that auto-scrolls any displayed page by tapping the info band at the top of the display. How do I turn this feature back on?
After reset my E72 by code *#7370# to restore factory settings and try to install Opera browser versions (Opera Mobile, Opera Mini,...). But they cannot load to run,... Even I reinstall five times.
I'm trying to upgrade my 3.2 iPad to 3.2.1 but I don't know where to get non-current software from. I remember there being a site that listed every firmware update for every iOS device but I can't find it and I never bookmarked it.
I have a BB Storm 9500 & as other users might know the application memory on this device is shockingly low!!! I recently upgraded my BBM witch was a mistake as my phone was running OK until I did this & is now running out about 5 mins after battery pulls. Every time I use my browser it freezes up & that goes for other apps as well. I want to reinstall a smaller version of BBM as I don't need all these fancy upgrades they have just added all I need from BBM is basic IM or RIM could combine the App memory with the media memory so us Storm users can have a decent experience for a change. I keep all my media on my memory card (as I'm sure most people do) so I have 1GB of possible memory that I can use.
