I am having this problem ever since I got my gs6. tried reinstall usb drivers, other usb ports, reinstall smart switch and resetted my phone was not working at all. I need to backup my phone.

I have been reciving texts and popups telling me to update my phone, so I tryed to on the sute, it confermed there was an update available, it started to update then about half way windows (xp) started to try to install drivers and the x6 was dissconected and would reconect, I then researched the problem and found the same thimg had happened to other people on the nokia boards, however using windows 7,the advice was to dissable auto driver instalations.
I then, in system properties, hardware, under the driver heading selected windoesupdate and selected never search windoes for driver updates. i'm not sure if this is the correct thing to have done but was the only thing that came to mind that may stop it. Restarted pc and tryed updating my phone agane, now it thinks it has the update but it dident finish, so I selected renstall the update and the same thing happened but now no windows driver popups it just dissconnects and i get the same error message.I have hard restarted the phone in the hope it will wipe the part update so I can then use the 0000 to update it on the hand set, but to no luck, it is desplaying the recent firmware number and there is no option to reinstall from the hand set just to update it.
I've been using nokia x6 now.. Got problems with the internet.. It disconnects automatically .. Like while surfing and using wifi it suddenly stops and disconnects.. I still have to search for access points over and over again.Another is when I use this free apps to chat with friends, the connection stops all of a sudden..Been experiencing this for long regardless of what internet connection I use.
So I first noticed this bug while trying to charge my phone from one of the USB ports on my computer, while the phone is off. It constantly connects and disconnects to the computer (as indicated by the sounds Windows makes) and the battery icon that flashes while the phone is off and charging keeps coming on and off. Not a major bug, but quite annoying if you have the phone connected while it's off.
I instructed Map Loader to download Europe (no less) which happens to be a wopping 2.2 Gigabyte. It calculated probably pretty accurately that downloading Europe would cost 1 hours 9 minutes and 48 seconds. A decent figure. Having started the download I absentmindedly and without any evil will disconnected my phone mid-download after 45 min give or take to make a phone call. That made Map Loader scream with discomfort (Waiting for phone!!) and eventual crash, with a fancy .NET debug message displayed. Yes, my dear readers, Map Loader is written with some Visual tool from Redmond where I expected a nice Qt based application. This now meant that all work was for nothing and the next time I selected Europe for download I was surprised to find it hadn't shrunk and was still the 2.2 Gigabyte and would still take 1 hours and 9 minutes and 48 seconds (thanks, Data) to download.
Now, I did not disconnect my ISP, paid all the facility bills so actually there would be no reason why 87% or an odd 1.8Gig wouldn't be around sitting on my PC still so that only that last 13% needed a download and I would go ahead and fix a drink to have the download finished in an agreeable time. It would be nice for my and Nokia's bandwidth and the environment (not to mention Europe) to have Map Loader at least save partial data so that in case of an unfortunate attack on the connection between Map Loader and the hand-set at hand it would be able to continue where it left off.
I'm right now updating my device software and the internet got disconnected ?! So it says that its installing module 161 of 561 but it has been idle for quite some time, I have now 2 connection on and running but it wont continue, I don't know What will happen if I disconnect the device and try to restart the initializatio
I recently acquired a Torch 9810, originally from Rogers but MEP2 unlocked and running on Fido with a 6GB data plan. It's my first BB, a choice that I made specifically because I was so impressed by my Playbook. There is, however, one thoroughly frustrating problem, which is that it suffers from random reboots. Symptomatically, there is a brief pause, followed by the backlight turning off (I can still see the previous content on the screen sometimes), followed by the red LED and then the BB logo with the loading bar. It looks similar to a soft reset or battery pull. These reboots seem to be completely random: 1) They take place over a wide range of activities, including web browsing, email reading and composing, Facebook, Twitter, built-in apps, even when looking through settings menus.2) The frequency seems to be random too, sometimes I can go for half a day without a reboot, but sometimes the phone will reboot twice in the span of a few minutes.
I tried reloading the stock Rogers 7.0.0.254 OS but this did not solve the problem.Thereafter, I have gone through 3 different 7.1 OS versions, each time using BBSAK to wipe my device to a 507 state. I have tried Telus 7.1.0.267, Mobilicity 7.1.0.378 and even the latest official OS for my phone, Rogers 7.1.0.391. I'm not sure that my apps are contributing to the problem since I have the problem after a wipe, but I have the following installed:BB ProtectBB BridgeBB MapsBB 5 soundsFacebookTwitterWindows LiveMessengerYahoo MessengerGoogle TalkWikitudeWord MoleBrickbreakerGoogle Maps There seems to be plenty of free storage space, over 180MB right now.
Ever since the upgrade to ICS, a lot of times I am unable to slide to answer the phone. I see multiple touch trackers (white dots) all over the screen. Out of the blue the camera would start, or the gallery would come up. Is the ICS not stable???
I've noticed that I am getting a LOT of drops from 3G to 1X since being on this new software. I hesitated but went ahead and did a wipe/reset and that hasn't helped. I thought maybe it was the area I am in (Las Vegas) but my wife's HTC device is NOT doing it.
"Frequent Locations" states that I was in Beijing, China yesterday but I haven't been to China in 4 years. It's very accurate otherwise, telling me my home, work and favourite cafe among other things. I just noticed this one location in Beijing.
when i visited nokia care shop for display flickering they told me to update version of firmware i followed their advice they got me updated to v 11.57
however display flickering continues to remain headche
Even after removing and reinstalling the battery my return key doesn't work or menu key won't open up or phone turn off key doesn't disconnect phone call. This is happening frequently even after taking out the battery and reinstalling.
Sometimes those keys work easily and sometimes they don't work at all and I have to remove the battery and reinsert before it goes back to home or anywhere else.
I upgraded my xperia ray to 4.0.4 and after that the mobile is getting rebooted on its own frequently. I have tried to repair the phone from PC Companion but still the problem persists. Is there any solution for this.
I used to face reboots when my X10 was still on 1.6, but I was ok with them since they happened on certain apps and not that frequent. After upgrading to android 2.1, my phone never stops rebooting. The first reboot occurred when I was using Backup and Restore app to restore my contact, SMS .... I have not even downloaded or set up any application. Then the reboot started to happen whenever I turn on my Wifi. Now whenever I am using my phone it reboots, during calls, searching contacts, installing and playing games. I tried re-installing Android 2.1 several times using PC companion and Sony Ericsson Update Service, but no use. Always the first reboot after a fresh install will be when I am restoring my data. I like the phone and was waiting for android 2.1 since September, and this is what I get, a useless phone where I can barely place a call.
I just got my 3gs 16gb white iphone on Dec 23rd, and it went completely black and died (went black while the battery was pretty full) I was browsing on safari a few minutes prior to noticing it had gone black. I was able to restore it but I'm pretty worried how frequent this is supposed to happen and how dependable the iphone is. I'm not always going to have my laptop with me and the whole point of me getting the iphone was to upgrade to a more reliable device. Also when I restored my phone none of my third party applications were restored. Will I have to download these again? and are the data that was saved within the applications irreplaceable?
Last friday I upgraded my iPhone 4S to iOS 5.1.1. After successful upgrade, I am seeing lot of network outage issues. I am seeing "No Service" message. There seems to be nothing wrong with my service provider.
Info: iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1, Unlocked iPhone from Apple Store
Moto Droid Ver 2.2.2. Starting yesterday, I am getting frequent, ramndom re-boots. I say random because they occur if it is the dock, on a table, idle or not idle, middle of a call, etc. I have not down loaded anything from the market in at least a week. It has never done this in the 18 months I have had it.
My N8 just freezes often and it is extremely frustrationg. I usually happens during sending txt and using Whatsapp. It just freezes. I click the right side slider to lock it - nothing happens sometimes. Then about a minute later, it catches up - all my clicks go off.
I suspect Whatsapp. I uninstalled it - seems to be better. So I reinstalled it. Same issue. Hanging starts again. After phone reboots - same thing.
I really love Whatsapp. I uninstalled it, and re dowloaded it from the site. Same issue. But things were fine about 6 months ago.
My dad has been using his BB Storm 2 at work for tethering and has been experiencing frequent disconnects at different intervals. He says that he could go 30 seconds before it disconnects or hours before it disconnects. He is using the tether plan through Verizon not the one time fee app. I could find absolutely nothing about this on the internet or these forums so I'm hoping someone out there can help me, Verizon reps has not been a help at all. He is using Windows 7 and using Verizons software to access the internet.
I have an HTC One Dual Sim and while the phone is great, have had stellar battery as an added bonus, there is this very annoying static "pop" or "blip" whilst speaking on the phone. It is not regular, but very frequent. More often than not, a word or part of a sentence gets eaten up. Almost like the notification light can be heard as it flashed, but I checked this and there were no messages, mails, IM's or anything coming into or out of the phone.
I changed the phone thinking there may be an anomaly, but the 2nd one does the same thing as well..
Does this phone have the option to turn off in-call notifications, I can't find the setting.
After Update my Ray ST18i with ICS (4.0.4), several times a week i get the note to restart cause of missing a SIM Card.My Wife, same mobile, has the same problem. Befor the update everything was fine.
I've got a Blackberry curve with 3G (purchased around 6 months ago at most) from the carphone warehouse. Apart from the newer Blackberry OS being buggy/a bit useless the phones been OK, but as the title suggests it's now occassionally freezing (you get the square with the arror turning) and as well as that I charged my phone to full battery a couple of days ago, turned it off overnight and the next day it had run out of charge. I tried again last night, the same thing happened.
The battery looks fine, fits in it's slot perfectly and isn't bulging/weird. The phones also never had water on it and i don't think that I've ever dropped it (it has a silicone case).
Since I got my baby back ladt week, I've had some reocurring problems. While in the browser, I find it closes without warning or message, often. Sometimes it even reboots.
Also, i've had several reboots when touching anything in Settings. I've factory reset a couple of times, and will again shortly.
I am experiencing frequent system hangs and following reboots, as many as 4 reboots during the after work surfing sessions.
I have not been able to find a pattern, in the beginning I thought that it was connected to the browser, so I installed firefox, but the problem persists.
