I read several places in connection with the new 2.3.5 update it will be possible to separate screen time-out time from screen lock time. So that you screen would go dark after fx. 15 seconds and lock after 60 seconds
As you know, nokia's usb cable is unable to charge the phone when connected through usb, so i bought the ca-126 cable which has 2 spilt ends, one to connect and one to charge. however, i'm never able to use both functions together. when i plug both ends into my X6, my X6 just goes into the cycle of being connected and disconnected. It feels as if the charging end is using up the power so the data connecting end is having problems syncing with the computer.
how long I should charge the battery of ny new Curve 9360 before first time use? Also anything else that I need to know / take care before I start usign it?
I just bought an iphone 5c, and it came with its battery dead. How long should I charge it for the first time? In Colombia they usually tell you you should left it at least 8h. Is that necessary?
One month old Xperia Z2 just don't charge anymore. It was somewhere around 20% and didn't charge no matter from PC or wall charger. It is flat battery now, I tried the soft reset with power button and volume, phone vibrates 3 times but still its like a cycle. The red light flash, after a while the phone starts by itself, it shows the sony and xperia logo, then battery low and go off. After a while it does the same and keeps repeating it no matter how many hours it have been charging.
Brand new iPhone 5S. My battery drained all the way down for the first time. It will now not charge at all. This cant be a battery issue. Can it? I seriously doubt its an issue of USB.
I have been using my samsung galaxy pretty heavily being as i just got it a week ago. I have noticed with heavy use it does not last me a whole day. Yesterday i let the battery drain all the way out so that i could completely cycle through. It ended up takeing a little over 3 hours to fully charge again. Was curious how many hrs of usage other people are averageing and how many hrs of charge time?
I finally found a S6 with good button and display, but I think I have again bad luck: from time to time, camera is failing and is not related to low power because I encounter the issue at 80% battery level.
I tried factory reset, clear cache and data, and it comes back. But always, the camera is working after pressing Clear all in Smart Manager. If I simply kill the processes using the standard task manager, the camera shows the same error.
if it's an hardware problem, as I read online, why works after clean all operation? I have stock ROM, without root or special app(just fb, dropbox installed)
My nexus 5 sometimes shows 1hours 40 minutes which is the exact time it should charge from 0 to 100 but sometimes it shows 3 hrs sometimes 2hr sometimes 6 hrs.I have a sony 5000 mah power bank. when i connect my nexus 5 to that with nexus 5 usb cable it still shows the same problem. I have connected a couple of chargers but still same problem.
My wife and I both have icons. With both of our phones, it seems to take an excessively long time for the phone to identify that it has been plugged in to charge. In some cases, it won't give the notification sound for upwards of a minute. I don't think I've had a single phone that actually did that.
I used to charge my BB using a cradle. Last week I went back to using the USB connection. Now, every time I
a) turn it off
b) charge it via USB
c) turn it on.
The Mobile network comes up as off.
I go to Manage Connections and check the box, and everything is fine again.Anyone have a clue what's going on? BB 8330, VZW, v4.5.0.77 (Didn't upgrade because their newer release is supposed to be less good).
My S6 says it is overheated and it will no longer charge or turn on, plugged in or not. This started after using the video camera, but I don't think that is the cause. It seems that the temperature sensor is reading temperature incorrectly.
Within the past couple of weeks I started noticing that the phone was having trouble charging. As the problem got worse it would intermittently vibrate and flash and stop charging, but then resume normal charging. The problem got so bad I was unable to get it to take a charge at all and the battery ran out completely. So I took it to the Verizon store. The guy plugged it in using his charger and it immediately started charging. Problem solved. I needed a new charger. Not so fast. Once I got it home and started using it again the problem returned. Today in frustration I turned the phone off. After a few minutes I plugged it in and it immediately started charging, and in less than an hour was at 100%. So I turned it back on and started making calls. After a while I plugged it in to see if it would charge and I get the same issue.
I bought a S2 for my son, now after 11 months the phone won't charge up and gets warm if we leave the charger on.I have another S2 myself and I swapped the battery and charger from mine to my sons and it still would not work.
With it been under 12 months I took it bak to the Orange shop who then sent it to Samsung who then had it for 2 weeks and then said it had water damage and they wont repair it. (My son later admitted he takes his phone into the bathroom and listens to music while having a shower )Taking this on the chin I then took it to a local repair shop who said its the UME - Universal Power Manager that has gone. They have tried to get hold of the part but according to them Samsung dont do this part.
I was trying to install a custom rom or something and his phone turned off and now it wont turn on at all he gave it to me to try to fix it i tried all the methods but none of them work it wont go to recovery wont go to download mode wont charge wont vibrate nothing happens at all....
