Jul 4, 2015S6 keeps restarting on its own regularly. Also charging issues. Phone is 1 month old and only started having trouble. Any fixes or is it faulty phone.

Things I have done > Factory Reset: I did a factory reset and while I was uploading contacts through kies it restarted.I have used another launcher: it still restarted while I was web browsing. ( did not download any apps for a couple days and problem still persisted randomly due to web browsing) Turned off Google Sync: It seemed to have solved the problem because it did not restart for like 2 days, but while using Pandora it lagged the music and it ended up restarting again.Cleared the cache/cookies: did nothing and still randomly restarted. Removed all facebook applications: problem still persist after a while of use.

Sep 28, 2015I decided to update my samsung s6 after the update thing had reminded me three times. But it won't stop going from the samsung screen, to the AT&T scree, to the optimizing apps screen, and loading maybe 12/65 apps, and then going black, and then back to the samsung screen. I don't know what to do, because it's been doing this over and over again for more than 5 minutes.

Oct 16, 2015I recently purchased a new phone, the Samsung Galaxy s6. I was really excited as I had heard nothing but good things.
Unfortunately the reality is very disappointing. My phone restarts itself all the time (6x in the last hour alone) and there are constant 'Unfortunately app x has stopped working' messages (15 in the last hour). The applications that crash are everything from FB to the keyboard to the Play Store, nothing consistent.
I have tried starting in safe mode to check if it was a third party app causing the problem, deleting the app cache, wiping the cache partition, a soft reset, a hard factory reset. Unfortunately nothing works and the problems continue.
I'm running Android version 5.1.1

Jun 27, 2015My friend broke its os and gave it to me because he didn't need it, i put insertcoin on it and rooted it. Every like 1-3 seconds it reboots after being shut off, it reboots then goes to the lock screen and i can use the phone for about a second then it restarts. Im thinking it may be an app/apk i installed but i don't know, it was like this before i restarted it. and its happened 4 times before, 3 of which i just reinstalled the os and wiped the phone and the last time it fixed its self. this time its been going on for 30min and it wont seem to fix itself.

Dec 3, 2011This may be a coincidence but ever since I updated to Android 2.3.5 my phone will randomly re-start itself. It definitely didn't happen before. So for example the screen will be locked, nothing happening with the phone, good battery life, (e.g. overnight) and it will suddenly re-boot. It's doubly annoying because I have a PIN SIM so it's stuck at the PIN screen, without network coverage, until I discover it and log back in. My carrier is O2 (UK) but I don't think they're at fault, it's a 2 year old SIM without any previous problems.

Jun 11, 2012My 3G has been dumping into recovery mode on a fairly regular basis for the past 3 weeks; a full restore is done after plugging it back into iTunes on an iMac running the latest update to Snow Leopard. The recovery and restore seems be nominal, and then a few days later it will inexplicably quit working and I have to go through it all over again. That's okay when I'm home and I can sync with my home computer, but not when I'm on the road with my laptop.
I'd really prefer to wait until fall to replace this phone, since I'm betting that the new version of the iPhone will come out at roughly the same time as iOS6. 16 gig AT&T iOS 4.2.1

Jun 25, 2012I have a Sony Xperia kyno V/neo V (MT11i), French retail version w/o branding - updated to ICS 4.0.4 via official Sony softwareMy provider used to be Free (France) which runs its own network but allows users to roam on the Orange France network wherever Free's newish network still lacks coverageMy phone seemingly randomly loses connectivity to voice and/or data service for also seemingly random periods of time - sometimes I cannot place or receive calls, sometimes I have no data connection while voice seems to work just fine, and sometimes there's nothing...Loss of signal often occurs while the phone is stationary in an area with normally fine network coverageI could not replicate the problem on a Nokia running Symbian and a Samsung running Windows Phone 7.5, but neither features a logging function of network signal like Android does The behavior of the phone seems highly unusual to me and while having no data connection for a few minutes is a minor nuisance, being unavailable for calls for minutes or even hours is simply unacceptable.
