I have rooted Samsung galaxy s6. Last night i searched google for unroot and remove super su app.Then from root explorer i deleted Supersu.apk file and SU file and restarted the device then it stucks on samsung logo with blue led blinking.

I've got an S6 Australian SM-G920i version. Done the root option and done the twrp recover flash in odin however i keep getting stuck at Samsung Logo. Tried root first and then flash twrp that didn't work, tried twrp first then tried to boot to recovery to root from twrp and still no go. teamwin says it compaitible with SM-G920i version tried TWRP 2.8.6.0 and TWRP 2.8.6.2 still no go.

i did backup the build.prop (in the download folder in sdcard) but after i rebooted the device (and followed the guide that i linked) it got stuck in the Samsung logo, I don't have a custom recovery and i dont want to trigger KNOX on. My android version is 5.0.2 ....
I decided to root and installed a custom recovery on my G920l.
The root went fine and I installed TWRP but once I tried to reboot into the recovery my phone has frozen and doesn't want to turn off.
I don't get what I did wrong and how to fix it or at least how to turn the phone off?
1. I have knox tripped
2. When i flash stock with smart switch i get stuck on samsung boot logo
3. Same thing with odin....stuck on samsung boot logo
4. To get the phone working and boot to desktop i flash custom kernel like unikernel
5. The problem is i want to use stock kernel i want to flash with smart switch and i want to get updates from samsung like i was before because when i use unikernel and i try to updates phone said your rom is modified...
Is there any chance to bypass samsung logo without flashing custom kernel...

I cant get to recovery or get the device up and running, all i can do is to get in odin mode/download mode.
i have downloaded official 5.1.1 firmware, i have tried using different versions of odin but everytime its the same, after the "nand write start" it just fails, every single time. i have tried to use the hidden.img only from the firmware but it ends up just booting the samsung logo over and over again. also i have tried different usb ports..
Basically i cant install new firmware via odin, i cant install it via kies (I don't know the phones serial number, receipt or the box wont say this, or the phone either)..

I have galaxy s6 G920F and I can't return to stock ROM, if I flash via Odin android 5.1.1, it says successful then stops on boot screen. I also did factory rest after installing also cleared cache but nothing happens. I tried France stock ROM 5.1.1 XEF I guess also UK BTE but I got same results.. but I can install custom ROM and it works fine but I need to return my phone but can't until it's on stock ROM.
It also says dm-verity verification failed. I just need to boot with stock ROM other error or warning messages don't matter..
If bootloader is locked, turned off the USB debugging, and device is bricked, it's stopped at logo. What can I do ?!

I got a Samsung S6, been good for 6-7 months now. Today it just shut off, battery was at 25-35%. I turned it on and it has since been stuck on the logo screen. Yesterday it was the letter 'e...' Not sure how I got it, may have been a dodgy 3rd party app. I can see it flash by when I am loading a page, or when I am in my gallery or even while in camera mode. I have attached photos of it below, does anyone know what is causing this? I would like to remove it
I have tried changing wallpapers, and looking through my files for the letter icons with no luck. AVG isn't picking up anything either.
My s2 has started randomly switching itself off. It happened first thing this morning, could be a concidence but a few minutes after switching it back on it did an auto update from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4. During the day it has switched itself off about 3 times.

View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen it is sat in standby and i recieve a text, the screen lights up as usual for a few seconds then dims to turn off again but doesnt turn off, causing my screen to stay on and the phone to run flat in under 4 hours. If I try to use the lock button when this is happening the phone will freeze.
I have also updated to the latest version to try and stop this but it didnt help.
This just recently started happening. On and off over and over. I turn it off, it turns back on.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIf i set my phone to airplane mode (which i usually do at night) the next morning i'll find it with near to no battery and just hanged on the samsung logo. I've tried to leave it out of airplane mode a whole night and it did not crash. Now just today, to see it happen, i set it to airplane mode, within an hour/hour and a half i tried to pick it up and wasnt responding to any button and suddenly shows the samsung logo.
So i'm pretty sure now that the behavior is linked to Airplane mode. I've cleared cache etc. I'm just not sure where to start. There must be something that just crashes the phone when in airplane mode. Going for factory reset is out of the question for now (well idealy). ps : it was fine under KK
Where to start/what to look for ? I'm in the meantime downloading the Android SDK, after that I'll put the usb debugging on and have an adb logcat running and force a crash again.
My Samsung Galaxy S6 display keeps turning on and off. And I mean it lights up, then goes black....lights up...then goes black....all day, all night. My battery is draining at least 4-5 times a day. I've tried rebooting. I've tried starting in Safe Mode. Nothing works. And this problem started out of the blue. While the phone is being used....making a phone call, texting or using an app the screen doesn't do this. But if its just sitting there its turning on and off and draining my battery.

A short time ago i upgraded to firmware I9100BUKI1 and today i tried to use Bluetooth for the first time since then to send a file. When the sending was half finished the phone restarted and then it kept restarting once a minute (basically right after turning on).So i turned it off completely and then turned it back on and it seems to be fine. View 2 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded my phone today. The phone was working at the T-mobile store out of the box with the limited battery charge the phones ship with. I came home did some stuff .. and the battery was running low. It warned me so I went to plug it into my computer and continued using it. It said it was charging. After a short amount of time the screen powered down and flashed a grey battery logo with a white loading symbol and powered off again and back on doing the same thing.
After this ... the phone would no longer power on even though I left it connected via USB to the laptop. Kind of pissing me off since the phone is brand new. Can I resolve this or is the phone defective?

HTC Sense UI has an option to preview messages(2lines) and missed calls right(who and time) on lock screen. This is really handy option with small kids around you dont have to unlock your phone.Since S2 is missing that I've downloaded Notify App which works great.However - I cannot turn off stock notifications - they still show up - so at this time I have to clear notifications twice - once in App and once in Notifications Bar. Is there a way of turning off stock notifications (without custom ROM)? On all other phones i had - there was an option to go to Settings Privacy and uncheck the notifications. This is missing on S2 - all i can see under privacy is Reset to Factory.I really like the phone and how smooth it is. At this point i really dont want to do a custom ROM (`ill root it if need it)
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy previous phone was HTC Wildfire S (stock Android 2.3.3) and I was able to receive and send MMS with data connection turned off. Simply, when I send MMS phone automatically turn on data connection. Same, when somebody send MMS to me, Wildfire S automatically turn on data connection and retrieve MMS. Now I am using Samsung Galaxy S2. I have to keep data connection always on if I want to send and receive MMS. I don't want data connection to be always on because I haven't flat data plan. I tried Quick Setting app. It change APN for internet and keeps data connection always on (do not modify MMS settings). At this way I can use MMS normally, but my battery drain for just 8 hours!
