View 9 Replies View RelatedI've got a 2014 BMW with Nav/BT,
Every time I select my phone as the Music source in the BMW Nav, the phone chooses the last used music source. So, if I've rebooted the phone and haven't used any media players on phone, it opens the Samsung built in music player and plays the demo song that came with the S6.
If I last opened Spotify, the next time I select my phone Spotify auto plays. Same with Pandora.
Any way to select a default and work around this "last used" setting?
When I want to manually set the screen brightness (or change the "mode", called "skrmtilstand" in Danish), changes have no effect. The brightness bar is greyed out. Also, I have noticed that turning of "system battery saving" (the first of the two options offered under energy saving in the settings) changes have no effect.
I am running the SII with ICS.
I have bought a N900 today and am busy testing it. With the phone, no real user guide was given. I downloaded one from the Nokia site. But I do not seem to find how to make the screen rotate.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy N900 only seems to be able to connect to PC Suite in 'non-compatibility' mode. This mode doesnt allow me to use any of the PC suite applications. How do I change the mode to 'compatibility' mode, or the 'normal' mode so everything works! No options appear on the phone when the USB cable is connected for PC Suite, like it should do? The phone is automatically charged via the connection though.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI bought an e73 a few days ago and found the wifi connection did not work. In a free pubic hotspot that doesn't require a key, the phone could find the network but couldn't connect (with an error message J007). In my home wifi network with a wep key, the phone couldn't connect either but with a different error message w002. I talked to a couple of t-mobile tech support and spent about 3 hours so far on the phone but couldn't get it resolved. If anyone has found an answer or share similar problem.

The operator (Swisscom) is providing the roaming to this country (UMTS voice), the 3G coverage is good and similar devices with the same contract are working fine. In the UMTS mode, no connection is established in the automatic mode.
When switched to the manual search mode, the device detects the local 3G operators ( DoCoMo, SoftBank). Forced to connect to the network, the device tries for a couple of minutes and returns the "no access" message. I have the impression of a reduced device sensitivity.
The SIM card has been replaced recently and the firmware is up to date. In the GSM mode the device works perfectly.
My Iphone is in completely disabled. The only way to unlock it is to put the phone in restore mode. When I do this I get the following message "There was a problem downloading the software for the Iphone. An unknown error occurred (9006) (Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection active, and try again later.." Then I have to start over again. I've made dozens of failed attempts to try to connect. And even went to a friends that has faster more superb Internet speed and connection than my own and still the same message above comes up.

I have a Galaxy S6 that I purchased off Ebay and on the back of the phone, the model is SM-G920i but in the settings of the phone, the model number is SM-G920F. I want to get this back to original stock firmware based on the G920i. The only problem is that I cannot get into Download Mode to be able to use Odin. I have tried all of the hardware combinations and the only thing is does is take me to a Factory Mode, where the options are Auto Test, Manual Test, Item Test, Test Report, Debug Test, Clear eMMC, Version, and Reboot.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have noticed recently that my Electrify will lose it's data and Wifi connection when it is in sleep mode long enough. I have the sleep policy set to never and it still will only show the 4 bars for cell tower and that's it. After waking it up from sleep and giving it some time, it will reconnect to either 3g or to wireless. What do I have set wrong that it won't keep a connection in sleep mode?
View 9 Replies View RelatedSo I've had a LG G3 through Sprint for quite some time now. When I first got the phone I noticed that I had a problem answering calls. They would either never make it to my phone or my phone would freeze when I answered the call. After some research I found that this was due to problem with the Spark OS where it couldn't do both 4G and phone calls at the same time, or something like that. I fixed the problem by going into my network mode setting and setting it to 3G only. I never had a problem again.
Fast forward to today, my phone for some reason has put gone back into a LTE 4G setting, I don't know why it just did. So I go to change the setting back because I'm going to work and need to be able to answer my phone but for some reason the network mode setting is grayed out. I can't get into it to change anything. why I'd be locked out of the network mode settings?

This is weird but my Xperia Z2 has automatically gone on silent mode and I'm unable to change the settings from the volume keys nor from the main settings page. I've been using this phone for about 6months now and this is the first time I'm facing such a problem.

Does anybody know how to switch to airplane mode . I want to switch off the cellular radio and just keep the wifi connection?
This is very frustrating since the backlight only lasts 5 seconds. I have tried settings/settings/light time out(5sec) but message comes up "Unable to change setting. Power saving mode active." Do not know how to deactivate power saving mode? Instruction book no use. (Power saver time out is set at 90 sec).

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've searched and am struggling to find much on these. What do they do, and how are they different?
According to HTC: Note: IfData connection is selected, HTC One automatically disconnects from the mobile network after 15 minutes when the screen is off and the data connection is idle (no download activity, streaming, or data usage). It reconnects and then disconnects periodically when the data connection is idle to save battery power.
Do these affect mobile data, Wifi, or both? Do they affect anything else?
I've left these off because I don't know how they work, and am getting fairly short battery life (10 to 15 hours, depending on use).
Just bought my new Samsung Galaxy S6 and I was wondering if there is any app that i can download to listen to FM Radio (as you know S6 doesn't has FM Radio) but without using any internet connection??
