I don't want to use my gmail account to hold all my contacts because I used Outlook.com for emails. If i were to ever make a new contact on my phone, it then wouldn't sync with my windows live acct. May 26, 2015I tried to download additional camera modes from the Galaxy app store, but nothing happens after tapping install. I then realized I didn't have a Samsung account on my S6. I tried going into Settings > Accounts > Add Account > Samsung, however nothing happens.
I am rooted, and debloated with TiBu. Tried enabling everything that was disabled, but still no luck. I'm wondering if disabling a Samsung system app changed something on my phone.

May 4, 2015I'm noticing that Google really likes to sync in the background throughout the day. Any good way to automatically sync my accounts(mainly Google and Samsung) only when I'm connected to Wifi and External Power? I'd like a simple way to do this hopefully without needing to root the S6.

Jun 6, 2015I received a new gs5 phone. I crushed my previous gs5 and after retrieving files and resetting it, I mailed it off for my insurance claim.
While setting up the new gs5 everything went smoothly, but for some reason my Samsung account would not sync, displayING "sync unavailable right now, we areally working to fix the issue"(or some thing along the lInes of that. I didn't think much of it.
Now everything a Samsung app goes to update, it says update failed and the app is deleted. I started to get concerned... I went to the Samsung App store directly and upon entering it said my Samsung app store needed to be updated, and now it is deleted too.
The S Health app seems to be the only app that I am noticeably able to use that Samsung had on my phone. The Geo News app says registration failed every time I loads up.
When I reset my phone, it has a pop-up bog that says "Download Fail. Please try again later".

I have 2 email accounts that I use 2 different icons to access. in Gmail app, i can have both email addresses appear, I added 2nd email address, but don't like the way it works, and want to go back to how I had it before, but I am unable to delete the 2nd email address within Gmail. They say from Gmail, go into Settings, Accounts and Import, Check mail from other accounts, and delete the one I want to remove. I don't have the Accounts and import option. I have gone into my Email through settings and removed the 2nd email all together, but it still appears in my Gmail app..how do I get rid of it from Gmail? I want to have to apps, 1 for Gmail and another for 2nd email address.

Oct 23, 2014When I add my corporate account to the email app, it accepts my login information as well as the domain and server information. It takes me to the screen with the email options about push notifications and what not. I finish those settings and it takes me to my inbox. But nothing happens. Occasionally if I add it, it will say loading... with the spinning circle, but never loads. I have let it sit for hours, and it never syncs.
Now let me tell you what I have tried:
I have tried on 4G and on wireless
Adding from Accounts in Settings
Adding from the email app
Auto Sync data is on
Restrict Background Data is off
Once or twice it came up with the certificate issue and I noticed that the certificate was connected to a different website.
I have a gmail account, and msn account and a Verizon account. they are all connected and work fine all the time.
If I use an app called Cloud Magic it works, but that doesn't sync my calendar and contacts.
I think that is it. The phone is a Galaxy S5, 16GB / Verizon / Andriod 4.4.4 / Factory, not hacked or changed in anyway.
