when i enable wlan or bluetooth throug the notification toggle (swipe down from status bar) it does open a menu for searching new wlans / bt-devices. Is there a setting that lets this toggle only activate / deactivate the option without opening the menu?

It interiors my music and I find it annoying. This did not happen on my previous phone. I can't find a setting to turn this off. I hope I'm just missing it.

I am having an issue with my S5 ever since I got it. Multiple times throughout the day, I hear a notification sound (like I have a text message) but there is no notification of any sort what so ever whenever I review my phone.
I did not have the issue on my GS4, and I pretty much have all the same apps installed.
Earlier this week I had a Z3 Compact paired with an Audi MMI in-car system. When a new email was received I would get a notification on the MMI display screen. Since changing to a Z3+ these notifications have stopped. If I search through the folders of the MMI system I can find the new message, however there is no initial alert that a new message has arrived and in the default inbox the MMI system says "no messages to display". I do however receive a notification when an SMS arrived. Bluetooth settings on the phone show that MAP is active.

I am always leaving it on and forgetting that it is on. The notification screen shows whether or not Wi-Fi and/or 3G is active, but not Bluetooth. Now with the standard Widget It had the little green Light like it was on but it Disappeared out of my Notification Bar, and it would not even reconnect even toggling the bluetooth on and off. My data and voice works fine with them (Wind Mobile) using 3G but I don't see the LTE enable/disable toggle option and therefore I'm not able to connect to their 4G network. View 5 Replies View RelatedI purchased an unlocked 4s to use with my T-Mobile SIM. I had previously been using a 3GS on T-Mobile. Since the update to version 5, apple has removed the settings toggle to disable the 3G radio. This causes a strange issue when 3G is forced to be on, after every call, the radio resets its self, dropping to 1 bar and searching before reconnecting. On version 5.0.1 I was able to jailbreak the phone and install a second party toggle to disable the 3G radio, this restored the normal operation of the phone on the T-Mobile network. But since upgrading to 5.1, I am unable to install this toggle, and it has made the phone really annoying to use. Why has apple removed this toggle? Have they moved it or is there another way to disable it?

I put the Motorola toggle widgets on my home screen (e.g. toggle data, wifi, bluetooth, GPS).
I rebooted and they disappeared. I tried to re-add them. I can't. I can add toggle widgets from the Android Market.
OK... here's the bug... I can't re-add the Motorola widgets, but also, the space where they should be is not available to add another widget either. i.e. I've now got a dead/unusable space on my home screen.
