Is there a texting app I can use on my phone and on my laptop? I prefer using a different phone number, rather than my real phone number.I've tried textnow, but the thing is it doesn't allow me to send web links.

2) Can you setup stored quick reply text messages on the Storm2?
3) Can you lock text messages to save them?
If ATT and Verizon enabled wifi calling for our devices would that mean I can send a full quality video to other phones (like imessage) without it being compressed and distorted ? I know imessage uses wifi and their own servers but Im not sure exactly how that works.

View 1 Replies View Related I just switched from an iPhone to a Galaxy S6. I am loving the phone and everything about it...except the texting app notifications. Coming from the iphone I really liked how I could keep the content of the text private, but it would show me who sent it. I also had the notification pop up in the middle of the lock screen and turn the screen on momentarily, and then I could swipe the notification to the right to open it in the texting app.
For the life of me, I can't find an app that will do exactly that. I really liked that feature. I don't want a quick response window to reply from the lock screen.
I want to say it is after I do a or a every word after that is capitalized, what would cause that???

View 1 Replies View RelatedSome of the texts come straight through to the group text while others go to the individual person's text and I have to hit a download button, then once it downloads it goes to the group text. However, some never download and just expire. If I've been gone for awhile it's kind of annoying to go through and click download on each text that didn't go to group.
View 3 Replies View Relatedwhen I�m texting an sms and I�m suppose to look up my contact, the Galaxy shows fex 3 options for the very same name (before I even choose one of them), where 2 of these are email addresses and not a phone number. The 3rd option gives me the alternative to choose either the mobile number (which is the option I want..) or again the two email addresses, which is ok. So, the first 2 options coming up here are confusing, and more than once I�ve sent text messages that never reached the person�s text inbox.. How can I fix this, and clear up my "text contact list" ? Still find somethings abit complex compared to my old nokias but hope to get my head round it eventually.Now and then I need to send the same tx message to about 50 of my contacts.I've created a group for these 50 contacts called " workmates"I want to send the same tx message to all 50 in one go but I get stopped when I reach 10 and the phone tells me i can't send to more than 10 in one go. So I end up rewriting the tx message 5 more times and have to send it in groups of 10 recipients in my "workmates" group.Is there a way of sending it to all 50 in one go and save the tediousness of rewriting the tx message. I can't even work out a way of "copying and pasting" the original tx message to save time that way.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI came from a note 2 to the s6 and never once had a problem with the phone unlocking in my pocket but it keeps happening with my s6 and it's opening apps and texting and calling people. I don't want to have top set a lock code or anything of I don't have to. If there was a way to stop the phone from lighting up when I get a text I don't think it would unlock but I can't find an option to turn it off.

Also went in to call settings and it says network or sim error each time i try with a diffrent sim. when i placed my sim in another samsung gs2 it was working fine i could call text surf the net etc?

Reinstall drivers using smart switch, check. When I plug in the USB cable it charges, but nothing happens on the screen. Cant transfer files or tether.

I've connected my phone to the laptop, its scanned it and says there's over a 1000 pictures to import. Once i transferred them all there's pictures that aren't even on my phone. How do I connect an S2 to a laptop without a SIM?
No SIM yet I can already transfer photos , phone book data etc with Kies on home wifi, but that's different. I'm going abroad so want to be able to communicate between the two without a sim.
I tried to make the phone a hotspot but it won't because there's no sim.
I never had trouble connecting my S4 to my old Dell laptop or my new Surface Pro 3. I'm trying to transfer my music to my new phone and neither device will recognize my phone. is there a setting I need to change?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI changed my phone to a camera device on the phone itself so I could choose to import my pictures to my laptop. God forbid its that easy. I opened the folder full of my imported pictures and the folder is just full of random stock photos. None of which were actually on my device. It did manage to copy a few pictures that were actually on my device but even then, it made hundreds of random copies of the same 10 photos. Doing this on my old iphone would've taken 30 seconds. As soon as I my upgrade comes back around i'm most definitely going back to apple. I've had nothing but problems with this phone. I wouldn't even have had to upload these pictures to my laptop if I wasnt going on my 3RD device in the same year.
